Moon Gazing Idea
Also, here's something that came with the full blue moon of Pomona, where workshops were held in February 1998 and January 1999 (exact date unknown, source unknown, but written down after a workshop).
-
Look at moon.
-
Let eyes gaze by opening them wide, closing them, and then only opening them half way.
-
Gaze at moon and let eyes move apart slightly, making your vision behold two moons.
-
Sustain such vision in tell you discern difference in the way the two moons appear. They may at some point become slightly different in hue.
-
Keeping moons apart, move focus to left moon and breath the moon in.
-
Keeping moons apart, move focus to right moon.
-
Breath out.
Of course you can vary the procedure any which way you like. The only important points may be to discern which eye is viewing which moon and to create an emphasis for the left side. There is all kinds of fun things you could do with the moon.
