It's because 95%-99% of the Bad Players who come thru here are men. So dealing with them has soured some of us.

And while women have natural talent, with regards to sorcery, they do have a serious issue with getting distracted and keeping motivated (getting bored)...maybe because things often come so easily to them at the start and they're not used to things getting more difficult as they progress?

Anyway, it seems to balance out in the end. Men need to work more at the start, and as a result get intent gifts more regularly as they get further along...which eventually makes things just as successful for them.

This in turn can motivate the women who could be watching, and keep them from fizzling out.
