Is it better to take a lengthy time recapitulating before getting into dark room practice?

Obviously truly recapitulating the moments and items in your life and if done throughly is a lengthy process. Is it best to stay away from dark room gazing until you have cleared your mind to achieve silence or can they be done cooperatively? Is it beneficial to take day/years recapitulating before even stepping into the dark room?

It's best to get in the darkroom asap.

In here, it is recommended (highly) to do 3 hours a day.

You definitely want to be doing tensegrity in the DR, but you can do recap in there too.

There's a post somewhere that says do 1 hour recap then 2 DRG, which includes tensegrity.

The recap will help with freeing up some of that stuck energy on the shell, and then the tensegrity will redeploy that freed up energy.

It's that energy that allows us to see cool stuff in the DR.

Conversely if one does not do recap at all they will still get results in the dark room, is that assumption correct?

Juann did. I don't believe he did any recap prior to that.

It's just a matter of how "dim" things will be.

They could be so dim that you ignore the puffs, your energy was too low.

You can also "blank out" if you have less energy, and you succeed in getting silent.

However, tensegrity prevents that.

If you have 10 years more lifespan at least, and there's nothing trying to pull you back into not pursuing magic, the ideal path might indeed be recap.

But only if you emphasize silence while doing it.

If you're at risk of being convinced to give up sorcery, you're better off to do darkroom first.

So you get beyond doubt as fast as possible.

If you pick recap, just be sure to nag and remind me because there's absolutely no reason you shouldn't see spectacular magic doing recap.

Which could be "encouraged" so that you got more of it.

And if I had to do it over, I'd be doing running man series a bit once in a while, while doing recap. You can do those sitting, without needing any extra leg space.

As well as the posts on bad players in the wiki, there is also a list of "me too naguals".

We STRICTLY adhere to the teachings of Carlos and the Witches (Taisha and Florinda essentially).

Anything else, by anyone else is more fluff for the ID, imo.

It’s a mess out there!

Always align yourself with the source, is universally applicable advice.
