I wonder what their thought process was, implementing this as a visual aide...

I never watched this show, wasn't it about a bunch of people who were dead and didn't know it?

If so, what a shift of the AP!

Thats what people unfamiliar with the show think its about. Its definitely not. Seriously give it a try.

What do you think it was about...i liked the metaphysical concepts but i also think even the director did not know what was about.

Well due to it being a TV show it was many directors not just one. And it was the 2 main writers that served as showrunners so to speak which involved leading a team of other writers. While some of the mythology was introduced with no clear direction on where it was headed, I do think they answered enough questions to provide a satisfying conclusion. I recommend watching The Leftovers, which was written by one of those 2 LOST writers I previously mentioned. His approach to that series really helped me come to terms with how LOST ended. I don't want to spoil either show. Check lostpedia if it is still around for a summary.

I have watched the leftovers and i know lindelof, he himself has not interpreted the mysteries of the show. He just involved a mixture of metaphysical concepts which are vaguely connected, thats why i asked your opinion to discuss it, i had searched much back then

I prefer this reference, funny coming full circle when you remember watching it as a kid and then realizing messages in it.

Knowing that JJAbrams was a Castañeda fan is what made me want to finally watch Lost, years later.
