Dimroom gazing vision effects - simulated
New Practitioners
If it’s too dark, well that’s because it was dark :) let me know if it’s too dark for y’all
Created this to show what was pretty close to my experience.
I’ve been practicing gazing with some effects of sparking lights at night and the sunlit sky.
But this was the first time I did tensegrity. I pulled up the video in the room and just followed along.
I noticed something after almost working up a sweat (that stuff was so goofy to me at first, but it’s a workout).
When I put my hand up against darkness, I could see fucking sparkles around it. That was cool. But I decided to play around in the dark. I moved onto the ground and just gazed at the floor.
The gif is what I saw.
Have no idea of a “meaning” of it, but it was very cool. Felt like visuals on shrooms, but totally sober.
Finished all the books. Now to move on to the witches.

This kind of serves as a reaffirmation . It' s linked with neural " stuff" would be cool to map out and create a " world"..which is what I guess is being done here. I suppose it's already possible to look into the " future" of this development like it's already there, as a " city" or whatever, even. Just a cloud in the sky there, can be aware of what is below. ..( hope that wasn't too spacey..hippy child- can't help it
I prefer to hear how hellish it was to get silent, with new people.
Otherwise I worry they're just there in the darkness, not following instructions. Skipping what's hard, and then forcing themselves to perceive anything at all.
They're always gone in a week or two.
Unless you're a woman. Then it's fine as long as you do it regularly and make it happen even more.
I am a man, 30.
I'm under the impression that tensegrity helps to get silent.
If not tensegrity, then an understanding of death. Observing, the like hunter DJ consistently refers to. Letting go of the world. I'm in a weird place recently, everything in my world is sort of "dying".
I have nothing to hold on to. I've been in this state before, but I was scared of all of it. I'm sort of embracing it now. I know silence is what causes the assemblage point to move, and I'm finding less and less in this world to keep me grounded in place.
In the room last night, I'm observing cause and effect. If not either of those, then I'm just there. Peering into the dark, moving the movements, intending to experience whatever infinity has to offer to me in my life or in that moment. I have no idea what that looks like.
Yea, you haven't been studying in here.
Maybe stay out of the fake magic subreddits for a while?
What you just said was surface level pretend understanding of the first one or two books.
Stuff you likely didn't even read for yourself, but heard from someone else.
Too interested in attention seeking to study and learn what's happening in here?
Hopefully you at least noticed we're in a battle for the survival of real magic.
A never ending battle against pretending.
If you last a few months, maybe you'll get serious?
But usually people figure out they can't get what they want here, and go elsewhere.
Since what they want, isn't actually real magic.
And real magic takes hard work.
To your credit, your head didn't explode.
So there's a chance for you.
And at 30, you have time to pretend.
We aren't like the lineages, where no one had time to goof off.
So that old "the bird of freedom flies in a straight line and never turns back" bit isn't applicable anymore.
We'll be around in some form for several lifespans.
Maybe we're like the "vultures" of freedom, hovering over all the dead bodies looking for signs of life.
My purpose for being here: to understand reality and die trying.
If that means cleaning off the link to intent with years of practice, then so be it.
I read the first couple books and then decided to eat a cactus, try to talk to lizards, and take a pic of me in white robes to put on the front cover of my new book "Eagle Flys, River Shits". -joke-
I didn't spend weeks of my life to just casually understand what's in the books to chit chat at the water cooler.
If there's time to goof off "pretending", that's fine, but I'm not interested in that. Nothing further to lose except my physical life, anymore history, and time itself.
If the video I made helps someone or at the very least offers a visual real-time representation of things that can be experienced -- that's more than enough for me.
I understand the knowledge here is heavily tarnished and abused by people trying to make a buck, or recognition. I've spent most of my life in multimedia/broadcast with people that love the front of a camera and the power that has on others.
I've spent hours here reading. I'm spending more every day.
That is all.
Thank you for your time Dan.
Your video harms people by giving the impression this is all just pretend.
As you are obviously doing.
People aren't stupid.
You should go somewhere else.
There's plenty of places where what you post doesn't matter, since nothing real is happening there.
Keep in mind, no one makes money from this.
In any way.
You can't find another place like that for the topic of magic or religion.
So your expectations about how you ought to be treated here, are wrong.
You're subconsciously thinking about this place as a used car lot, where no matter how messed up you are you'll become the best buddy of the salesmen.
It's like that in the fake magic subreddits, even if you don't realize who the used car salespeople are.
In here, we only get compensated for the last 4 years of endless hard work trying to get people to actually follow instructions, and for putting up with the endless bad men tantrums, when someone actually learns real magic that kicks the Buddha's con artist butt.
Which will be very few unfortunately.
And even less if this place is taken over by men like you whose real interest is only to post.
And not to actually put in any real work.
If you don't want me to post video composites, I'll respect that.
To clarify, what determines discussion about the goal/experiences along the way from "i wanna be the poster"?
In no way did I intend to put time into create something to mislead anyone. I'm not here to make money. I put it in bold, the reason I'm here.
I'm not trying to take over your subreddit.
The reason I made the video is because I am a visual person. It's easy for me to create a first hand experience into something visual and moving, like real life. Video translates and presents concepts that text and pictures cannot.
But, if your responses are coming from a place of "he's new, he studied dumb subreddits, dumb philosophies, hasn't done 'hard work', he's not a woman, thus everything he's saying is fake"...
...well. I want to jump through my wall into another world. I don't care what that takes.
But you don't. That's my point.
You only say you do, for the same reason you've been posting nonsense from the start.
And I'll repeat, if we had too many doing what you do this place would quickly be destroyed.
Otherwise, no one likes confronting people who aren't serious.
Which is why there's no magic elsewhere.
Imagine all the junk posts we'd collect if you kept posting like that, and others saw they could brag about their non-existent experiences and post too.
It would be like every other subreddit.
Nothing but beginners posting make believe.
Those who might actually put in the effort to learn would take a look at the top posts, and leave.
In case you think this is harsh, go read lecture lecture notes on how Carlos handled private classes, and how everyone was afraid to even ask him a question.
Half a wrong sentence, and you were out of there permanently.
But even then he still didn't manage to teach even a single person.
Because he didn't have access to thousands a year the way we do, in a steady flow.
Even then, I doubt I'll reach my own goal of 10 to replace Carlos. Unless cartoons reach a much wider audience and we get a lot more.
Most who get serious figure out what sorcery is, meaning they finally understand.
But it's too alien for them, so they go back to normal life.
I see what you're saying. I'll be offline from posting here to dive full in.
Harshness can be refreshing.
thanks
Here's the issue those in the advanced sub had with what you left out of this, paraphrased and edited:
" What about the guy who made a video? Looks like "forced" blue line effects, and he doesn't mention his effort to silence his internal monologue. I wish we could figure out how to remove the blue line pretending. Maybe we need to define blue line effects, like "static" and such. Or "undulations" such as he had, which aren't things unto themselves (extant) in the second attention. We could still advise that anything is better than nothing, and maybe they could gaze at that to get more silent, so that the real stuff would become visible? We're in uncharted waters on what's a "color," ala Zuleica. "Find colors" seems to be the only directions she gave; but she didn't have an invasion of attention seekers to bother with. Might have defined it better if she did."
Your comment helps me to realize that I have a long way to go. I've been seeing the same thing as OP and thought I was doing pretty well with my progress, but it's a forced thing? What are blue line effects? When I try to silence myself, I'll let my ears focus on the different sounds around me, or when I'm breathing in and out I will "shush" myself in the exhale. The hardest thing for me to silence is the music that's always playing in my head.
We haven't mapped out "blue line effects" yet, because there was no need in the past.
But now we seem to get fakers on a regular basis.
I can't explain how we can tell, but it's easy.
Except if we explained, then they'd read that, and do a better job faking it.
I guess that's one reason Carlos didn't describe much. He was afraid fakers would grow and it would be hard to tell them from the real thing.
Anyway, this is faking it.
I have no idea if a faker realizes they're faking it.
Since ALL RELIGIONS teach followers to fake it.
That includes Buddhism, Daoism, And Hinduism.
Everyone is taught to fake their experiences.
But as I said, I can't define it, or else the fakers will learn to do a good job.
There's only 2 things beginners should look for.
The puffs, and inorganic being faces.
And shame on them if they fake those too!
Which is why eventually we need to remove any feeling people who come here get, that it's a place to seek attention.
Cartoons will do that.
Can you tell the fakers because of intent? I know I've seen some questions or posts that get big long answers and then other posts that are the same wording and they're called out immediately (my own posts have been included in one of those). I stew on asking questions cuz I don't want to be strung up, but will just ruminate on the question instead. I usually end up forgetting about it and moving on as other things start to present to me and I get caught up in that. It's difficult as a beginner wanting to make sure you're doing things right.
Anyway
I've been doing darkroom for about 3 months now. I'll start seeing waves and It looks like the Aurora Borealis, sometimes orbs, but they all fade and glow and move like the Northern lights do. I haven't seen anything that I can touch though. Is that normal or still just very beginner level stuff. Can I be invited to the other subs?
There's a whole complex of barriers to the second attention (all that isn't acknowledged, but is still perceivable, by us) that is best defined over the course of reading even the earlier books.
Changing how you live your life to save energy, and recalling it via recap, aren't skippable maneuvers once you actually realize the necessity of them if you want to go further in darkroom.
If you want to get better at and deepen your ability to silence the inner monologue.
You're in an actual position then to "follow the warriors way," rather than be a pretender (by apeing that for shallow reasons) in order to make yourself feel better.
Without those kinds of lifestyle changes/behavioral modifications there will be natural ups and downs, and the downs will deeper…
I've been doing a lot of the physical movements, tensegrity, the right way of walking, catching eye sparkles etc. But I definitely haven't been doing enough recap for sure. Thank you for your answer, I will put more effort into recap. I will keep reading also. I'm committed to learn and get there.
You'll do fine. Just police yourself against pretending.
All that matters is actually wanting the goal, and not merely attention from others.
You can want 30% attention from others. That's normal Chimp behavior.
But the majority has to be about actually wanting magic.
So that the intent of wanting magic, overrides the intent of attention seeking.
And the magic actually comes from "the spirit", not from what you specifically do as a technique.
The problem there is, the spirit uses past intent.
So while "what you do" doesn't matter, it needs to be "what was done before" or you won't get the desired results.
This will all be so much simpler to explain in cartoons, where you can simply show the emanations stretching into space, with some still glowing and vibrating a bit.
So that the awareness of a person facing that, tends to flow into the places which already took the flow.
The problem with fakers is, their attention is flowing into anticipation of the attention they'll get.
And typically they're too lazy to make an actual effort. They just pretend that part too.
Confirmation of this from Amy Wallace's 2007 book Sorcerer's Apprentice:
"First (Taisha Abelar) talked about intent. I asked her why practices like Buddhist chanting worked for some people. She explained that, as with the I Ching, doing such a practice linked one to an already existing “line of intent" - she made motions with her hands in the air as if she were grabbing onto a rope."
The puzzling part is, perhaps everything we do is like that. Following a rope hung in the past.
The whole solid matter thing is a bummer, but it seems to become irrelevant for short periods.
Which might explain why the old seers had techniques to alter that. Like burying themselves, or turning into a tree.
We'll get there! I'm pretty confident Carlos gave us everything we need.
And the old seers are out there. I got to watch them again a bit last night. A little group of them.
It's like looking into a dream bubble, but the characters in the dream notice you're watching them.
So, not at all just a dream bubble. More like a tunnel.

Well, I'll refer back to what I said to Dan. My effort is in not forcing it, in a way.
And not in a Ram Daas "just be here now" kinda way.
A way of just observing. I have no idea what there is to perceive, beyond what I see in front of me. It just appeared.
The visual snow, the sparks of light, the fractals patterns...I don't know what any of it "is", other than something I see.
"gazing at that to get more silent" -- I had assumed this was already mapped out. Well. Something I'll try.
Persistence can't be taught 👍
We're all so restricted/retarded by the chains of society, it's a wonder we don't all dream in black and white...something horrendous I read once in a study, that found that some sad persons have no color in their own dreams 😢
