Remember some years back you made posts about tunnels and stuff. I don't remember fully, but you mentioned before how likely it is for a IOB, to use your own room as a "introduction" to the IOB world. Like you could be in the IOB world, but it will look like this world, with some exceptions.
And there was a blue witch and some tunnel system tied to the "earth" and how the old seers could travel using it.
What it all seem like to is that we might have mis understood that you have to be asleep to shift out of the human band of awareness. What if actually some of the lateral shift are great enough to transport you to another band even awake? Be it the closest one.
But still i think there is enough evidence to assume that we don't need sleep at all and that even going to the IOB world can possibly be done fully awake. Being in Dreaming, by Florina when she talks to Zuelica and they cross from dreaming awake to being in the IOB world, but only then she "wakes up". Seems like a smooth transition to the double and entry to the IOB world that can be done fully awake!!! So you can really get yourself stuck there, be it for some minutes only.
Which should mean darkroom or even gazing alone can fully transport you to the IOB world awake. So it means that there is even less reason for people to miss interpret their dreams.

I do that all the time, fully awake.
Carol Tiggs gave me entry to their world, back in private classes.
So yes, you can do it fully awake.
Juann even gets to see it from time to time.
I'll animate it eventually, if I live long enough.
Little Smoke used to taunt me by making my southern wall be a doorway into her world.
And then she'd show me that I'm allowed to enter, by flying slowly through the wall herself.
I could see her color change, as she passed the boundary.
She knew that would intrigue my "engineer mind".
The first time I just stuck my arm in there, curious if my arm would also turn pinker the way she had.
Afraid to go inside.
But then, perhaps a week or two later, I asked her a question which accidentally gave her permission to kidnap me, and take me fully inside.
It's in an old post.
I don't recall what I asked her, but it was something like "I'd like to be closer to you."
I didn't mean literally!
10 seconds later (intent delay) I was standing in her world, looking at what was somewhat like a barnacle stuck to the side of a whale fin. Except perhaps 3 feet tall and rising up from the dirt floor.
I realized, she was "in there" somehow.
I didn't panic because in the north direction I could see I was only 3 feet into her world, and could easily walk back to my own darkroom.
But alas...
Cholita took away the Allies.
No more "red zone fun".
I have to get all the way to the purple zone to get visitors.
I must have bragged to Cholita one time too many that I get visitors all night long.
Because she was accusing me of having "no life" and locking myself up in a dark room the instant I got home.
Which is odd, because if I go out she attacks me and orders me to go back to my room.

Thank you, the animation you make is really encouraging. Yesterday, while doing physical exercises, I was trying to make a cocoon in the form of an egg, and sometimes my head was confused, my heart was racing, and my eyes could not see well. The work was enjoyable. Yesterday, when I bent down to bring the energy up from the bottom of my feet, in the daylight I clearly saw a cool, wavy, bubbling yellow energy, it was very exciting, but I didn't react much. I recently got better at practicing silence. But somehow, until the morning, even in my sleep, I seem to be talking to myself after every set of exercises, of course, strange words! And I only hear that sometimes she himself gives me information that I don't remember. I always hate sleeping after practicing silence because I am wide awake and asleep at the same time. But my body is very fresh and alert.

I have a theory. Don Juan said that out of the 8 bands that produce awareness in which we can assemble complete worlds (8 worlds), one is the organic life (band of man), and there are other 2 that are easy to assemble. The other 5 are "something else".
My theory is that those 2 "easy" bands are to the sides of the band of man and the other 5 fall outside the egg. And that they are slightly slanted so that if we stretch the egg up or down (the "pipe", or becoming a tree by stretching downwards too, or into a thin line) we can access the others. If they weren't slanted, we would need to stretch to the sides.
"They taxed their awareness to the limit and assembled worlds with five great bands that are accessible to seers only if they undergo a dangerous transformation."
"But did the old seers succeed in assembling those worlds?" I asked.
"They did," he said. "In their aberration they believed it was worth their while to break all the barriers of perception, even if they had to become trees to do that."
The dangerous transformation I believe is the change in the egg's shape, which somewhere else he says sometimes can't be reversed.
