okay - where do i start?

okay so i'm going to put my scepticism and personal opinions aside for now and just take this as a kind of personal experiment and focus on the potential practical dimension of all of this.

so where do i start? i am starting on the wiki in the sidebar (it's a lot of reading though so it will take me a few days), is there anything else i should consider? do i need to read all the books or will the wiki suffice? what are the priorities/things i should focus on most? what keeps coming up is darkroom practice i noticed.

thanks!

Focus on inner silence. All the practical/pragmatic exercises that are presented here and in the books stem from that, or rather work on aligning us with that intent.

Easiest, quite frankly, is so come by some Silence Stones (do a search or find them in the list of posts in the Silence section of the Wiki) and bear down with them. It will teach you what a horrendous struggle it is to switch our beam of awareness off of attending to the inner monologue. The social self.

Next is to do the preparatory steps for recapitulation, specifically the list. Or you could just start with recent memories that are fresh, and work on the list in parallel.

And learn some of the Tensegrity passes, which should be practiced in twilight first until you're familiar enough to perform in total darkness.

I think you might be on to something here!

We never "formalized" this realization.

Carlos made Jadey leave her friends and family. Which she said wasn't all that hard, because she had traveled to another country to be with the group.

But he still asked.

Cholita had to have a real job, which Carlos gave to her. And give up smoking. And cut her hair short.

He gave Tony Karim a task too, which Tony refused so he's now a confused chubby church leader in Mexico.

He asked a private class to "Walk to San Diego", which is 110 miles. Starting right after class.

No one did. All gone now except Cholita, Jadey, and me.

He also told everyone, including people at workshops, to go outside and shout "INTENT!!!" to signal a desire to learn to be silent.

And let's not forget the intensely complicated Devil's Weed rituals.

Which resulted in talking lizards!

Maybe that's why I could never get Minx to speak in his lizard form.

No ritual, no reward.

It's how intent works.

So possibly it's a good idea to emphasize to new people, something which requires they take at least a little real action to signal they're serious.

Like find your silence stones yourself.

Which could include online shopping.

That's modern "gathering", out of our biological drive to hunt and gather.

To be silly, we could make a list of "Awful Sorcery burdens to take on so as to prove to the spirit that you're serious".

Let them pick one!

Read all 17 books.

Walk 50 miles to a mountain.

Have sex with a scary witch.

Ditch your friends and family forever.

Or, go find some rocks that fit between your fingers.

I would have actually walked 110 miles to another city, if Carlos had told me as an act of intent!

Last night because of "walk 50 miles to a mountain" I walked to a beach on Plum Island and then to a forest called Maudslay before back to my house. You could see on satellite images how massive that stretch is.

When I fell asleep my assemblage point moved to my legs, and I fucked an inorganic being, taking an amount of dark energy from it I can't comprehend using words. I was penetrating it (my whole arm was inside it!), though it was very dominant.

Have sex with a scary witch. If I knew where to find one.

The men were too lazy and mostly only interested in book deals.

So they didn't even stick around to discuss it after class, the way 4 women did.

One of the men even asked the next day, "what's in it for us?"

Felix.

Who wrote a book so fast after Carlos died, it was surprising you could even get something published that fast back in the 90s.

Then he went on tour and lecturing, explaining how "Carlos went bad".

And created his own "system" using delusional Hinduism, saying "I'm cyclic with Reni, so..."

The men were hopeless. Possibly Larry or Leigh hung out a half minute, but then gave up when the realized I was trying to get people to actually do it.

I pulled out my credit cards and said we didn't have to sleep on the road or go hungry.

But the women would have lost their living situations, if they took off on a walking trip that might have taken a week.

So none would go.

Males 0.

None.

Carlos said so himself when asked about it. He said it was because, "No one was willing to change their lifestyle."

And if you stick around this subreddit, you'll understand why in grizzly detail.

It's depressing how difficult it is to convince anyone, despite their claims of an interest, to put in just the amount of work it takes to learn to play the trumpet well in 6 months. Or the amount of time basketball fans put in practicing.

I suppose you could estimate there's 70 male sorcerers still living in "new seer" lineages, but that's about it. And another 70 females of that caliber.

If there were some people doing magic elsewhere, the many spies in here would have located some and brought it to here with a post about it.

But they found nothing.

And there's the internet now, so it's all visible.

How many women you can't say because all women are witches.

The question is, how many who can move their assemblage points very far, the way Cholita can. So that they become like the evil witch in a Dr. Strange movie.

Very few I'd say.

Most just make it to the green line, and self flatter.

Call it a day.

Going further is too much work for all humans.

Speaking of evil witches, Cholita is blocking me from bathing.

How she got that idea in her head I don't know, but it's possible she scans the "sorcery news". Likely on Facebook.

I'm waiting to find out Captain Kirk was gay all along.

Disney seems to be on a vengence to portray all of their latest super heroes as gay.

Or victims of racism. Or gender bias.

But truth be told, at least a third of the people in private classes were gay.

Carlos either invited them because being gay means you're already an outcast in society, or he just had inner circle people who were gay, and recommended others who were also.

We don't really know why.

There's some obvious implications in the books that Julian was bi-sexual, and didn't mind who he was having sex with, if it helped teach sorcery.

But the roman empire was pretty much 50% gay.

So it's nothing new.

Sex with little boys is common all over asia in Buddhist temples.

Young girls too, but those are often reserved for blackmailing wealthy businessmen. Especially in Tokyo, where it's a common raunchy joke.

"Temple Girls". Rented by the hour for "tea ceremony".

In Burma they even sell little boys to strangers, according to what I've been told.

But even in Taiwan, the closest an asian country can be to California thinking, boys are given to the temple to become servants.

Poor families do it.

It's better than having a leg amputated, so the kids can be turned into professional beggars by the mafia.

Less common now, but you can still find it there and in Thailand.

It's a sure bet the boys are molested by the monks.

They're used for temple duties, most obvious of which to a foreigner is to beat the drums on funeral trucks that drive around with loud speakers, to extoll the glory of a recently deceased old chinese man.

They have a big picture of him in the back of a truck, two drummer boys in saffron outfits, and if he was REALLY wealthy there's two teenage girls dancing in bikinis.

Naturally I always run to the second story window of our office there, when I hear that.

Hoping for Chinese girls in bikinis, dancing on a truck.

The boys grow up to be gangsters, Chinese style, with toothpicks in their mouths which they nervously chew on, to show how dangerous they are.

They run the cheap prostitution the Buddhist church sponsors, in the "confessional booths" around the temple.

Buddhism is a Chinese make believe plague over Asia!

Westerners got brainwashed by greedy white men who "imported" it so they could join in on the theft.

Anything using closed eye meditation is designed for self-flattery and delusion. For stealing.

Give out little thrones as a reward, and you have "Astral Travel" but legitimized as "scholarly" and mainstream.

Yet it's still nothing but evil delusions designed to steal from the naive.

Carlos had high hopes that Buddhists had the discipline to practice daily.

But all they did was turn their noses up at him in private classes.

He used to imitate them "smelling shiit" everywhere.

Professional "Shit smellers" is what Buddhism creates.

A machine that creates magic?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dreamachine

It's like automatic fire kasina.

[-]
u/danl999 4 points 2023-08-05 14:11

It could produce meager green line effects.

Like an isolation tank.

But anyone experienced in here doesn't even pay attention to those things anymore.

They're "disappointing".

They taunt you, but you can't break the laws of physics using those results.

Fire Kasina is a huge joke, and an obvious example of made up Chinese magic.

Read the text!

It's mostly "franchising rights"!

And the Buddha sees 4 hookers who offer free blow jobs for life?!?

THAT'S the "great buddha"?

Here's a tip.

The Buddha was just a pacifist who never left northern India at all, while rebelling against the caste system in India.

He taught mediocre closed eye meditation which only leads to delusion through visions and bliss.

He wrote nothing down, and no one else did for hundreds of years.

So we pretty much know absolutely nothing about him, other than what got made up and added on by cults trying to continue profiting from his movement.

Then the Chinese found it while trading along "the silk road", and took it home to change it into what we believe is "Buddhism".

When in fact it's just another Chinese fake magical system like Daoism.

The reason no one practicing Dzogchen ever actually sees any magic themselves, and always has to imply it's high up in Tibet, is because no Buddhist has any.

They aren't hiding it.

They never had it.

And if you call them out, they appeal to the name of religion, and claim "It's not about magic at all."

The lamest of all lies. To lure you with one thing, but sell you another.

Like a used car dealer.

Buddhism gets some minor meditative effects, which any women can easily get without all the pretending, robes, and chanting.

The proof is how Buddhist heads explode, when they hear about this place.

And how they come to try to destroy it.

We've seen it at least twice. Once was likely Shinzen himself!

If not, his daughter or a follower.

No one with real magic gets angry on hearing there might be something even better, elsewhere.

They rejoice!

Unfortunately, it's never true.

Or I wouldn't be stuck here.

No one gets paid to do this, and it's a very unpleasant job.

It turns out, any potential outside REAL magic is always just men earning a living off pretending, and fooling the naive.

If not, someone would have found the real thing and posted it in here.

But in 4 years with hundreds of well motivated spies, Shinzen and Ingram are all they found.

And any real beginner in here kicks their butts.

[-]
u/WitchyCreatureView 2 points 2023-08-05 16:51

It could produce meager green line effects.

What if I did it for like 8 hours / day for 3 weeks? That would just be horizontal green line? Surely that would do something more?

Also Ingram is now having women do fire kasina retreats at his house.

[-]
u/danl999 2 points 2023-08-05 17:27

I gave up on Ingram. He's lost in religious delusions and won't be able to go any further until he ditches that made up Chinese religion he's been kidnapped by. But he won't, because it gave him a little throne.

Would that machine keep you moving further?

No.

If you're only looking at green line magic, all you can do is shift left and right, at that level on the J curve.

To the right is sex, beasts, physical activity and violence.

So I assume you could get bliss and visions tainted with those feelings.

To the left is insects, wealth, spirituality, heaven, and God.

That's likely the preferred direction for closed eye meditation people, who have nowhere else to go. Can't go down on the J curve.

They don't even know that exists.

By the way, this isn't theory.

It's not "a sacred scroll" from the wise leaders of the past.

Ingram seems fond of those. Last I heard, he was trying to "verify" all the sacred scrolls.

Not realizing they're all just made up nonsense.

But instead, for us, what I just explained is what we do!

Daily.

There are no "theories" or things you need to believe, in sorcery.

Just "what is".

So you could delude yourself for decades, playing around on the green line.

That's what "enlightenment" is.

Self flattering delusions caused by physical bliss and minor visions.

To get from the green to the red zone where shapeshifting is possible, you pretty much have to have your eyes wide open, and be doing physical exercises.

Otherwise you'd drift right off into slumber, just trying to get halfway to the red.

And best if you are doing physical exercises which amuse your double.

The copy of yourself which runs around in dreaming worlds.

It's not the waking you! It's an independent being.

The two of you can merge consciousness, but it's absolutely a second copy of yourself.

Could even hold a second job.

Elias' did. And Genaro from the books was pretty much always in his double around Carlos.

The physical copy wasn't immobile somewhere. It was hanging out with the gang.

So to get to the red, you MUST see the puffs of your energy body.

Which means, you must lure it out.

I suppose an inorganic being spirit might get you there without you seeing the puffs.

But it would be one of their tricks.

It would simply "ride on" a partial puff, which was too weak to be brilliant enough to notice.

Ingram's "chi balls" are likely partial puffs.

Not yet enough to be sentient.

[-]
u/WitchyCreatureView 1 points 2023-08-05 19:43

How do you stalk somebody?

People make it seem like stalking is just acting like an asshole and doing weird stuff.

[-]
u/danl999 3 points 2023-08-05 20:39

You're right, people are clueless about stalking.

They just want to pretend their nasty personalities are sorcery.

Stalking is holding a new position of the assemblage point.

Or even moving it to a new position, with your actions.

But mostly it's just holding it at the new position, regardless of how it got there.

So darkroom is the supreme stalking teacher!

It's also an excellent gazing teacher.

Now, if you want to know how to move your assemblage point using your behavior, that's a different topic.

But IMPOSSIBLE until you can get silent, and it becomes flexible.

So let's say you did darkroom every single day, until you could literally move into silent knowledge just by focusing on the breath change you learned about during darkroom.

When you reach either mid orange zone, or the start of the purple zone on the J curve, there's a dramatic breath change.

Juann thinks there's two, not just one. Which would agree with comments Carlos made one day in private classes.

It'll happen for sure if you practice regularly.

It's not the puffs, not shapeshifting.

Those come relatively fast.

The breath change comes past all that.

We're talking, time travel and the like.

When you can do that regularly, you'll also be able to just focus on noticing your breath is changing. And you'll be more in your double, then normal.

And much of the time you'll suddenly be in silent knowledge too.

When your assemblage point is THAT flexible, then you can use your behavior to move your assemblage point.

Until then it's a pitiful influence, and you'll only fool yourself.

But when it's that flexible your behavior around other people summons silent knowledge, and you pick up the "dream context and history" of the character you are playing.

Real stalking is magic supreme.

But not the "idiot's version" you read about all over facebook.

Where people are too lazy to actually do any work, so they just make up stuff they believe no one else can contradict.

Until now. Now, there's people who can call out that kind of pretending with good explanations to go along with it.

I think salvia takes you outside the luminous ball . . .

I feel lost.

To physically shapeshift into a bat like Count Dracula, is what I want to do tonight. But I've been conditioned to sleep 8 hours.

I just don't want to sleep anymore. I'm wondering if total sleep deprivation is okay.

[-]
u/danl999 6 points 2023-08-06 13:25

Salvia just has a very high "abstract" content for a power plant.

But I'm pretty sure don Juan had some of that in his smoking mixture!

Since the time for salvia to wear off, isn't too far from the time for powdered and inhaled mushrooms to kick in.

I can't comment on sleeping.

I don't keep track anymore, and certainly don't sleep in 8 hour blocks.

But pay attention to how you feel. Don't sleep deprive without noticing the actual effects and making sure they're positive.

Still, the "8 hours of good sleep" thing is propaganda for the river of shit.

Even in medieval times they didn't do that. People slept in naps, woke up, then took another.

Sleeping in a big block is likely a side effect of agriculture.

We became slaves to the plants.

I tried to understand it myself just by reading through the subreddit and looking at all the pictures and it didn't work for me. I was so confused because there is so much particular jargon here that I was very lost. I didn't really want to read the books, because that's a commitment and I'm a commitment phobe. But it became evident that I was holding myself back from any progress or deeper understanding if I didn't. One of my problems is I don't have a lot of time to physically sit and read, but I have time to listen when I'm driving to and from work, and when I am doing my chores and other small stuff. So audiobooks it is!

Here are the first three books on Spotify. . It made it very easy for me to get a grasp on what was going on. These books are wonderful just for the story's sake alone. The rest of the books are on YouTube thankfully. It has become my daily habit to listen to these books every time I drive. I look forward so much to my drives now. I now also sit outside every evening and listen for an hour while I gaze at my flowers on my porch. It has become a most healing practice. I have made it through seven books since the beginning of the year and the change in me has been lovely.

You'll start to notice little attitudes of yours shifting. You'll look at scenarios that you encounter in life differently. You start to understand the intent in yourself, but you really start to feel the intent from others. Everyone online in the subreddit talks about their dark room experiences which is so wonderful, however I have noticed the most delightful change in my day-to-day interaction with my fellow human. I am not as angry as I used to be. I don't feel like a victim anymore. I have way more patience than I ever knew was even possible. I also don't dwell and fret over past encounters that used to give me stress. I don't fret over future events that would give me anxiety. Peace of mind and well-being is one of the awesome outcomes.

What this work does is change the way you view the world. It teaches you to utilize and reclaim your own power by shifting your awareness. It is worth it to put the time in to understand it. I hope this perspective helps!

I promise you that if you put aside these two psychologists and practice stopping your inner dialogue, it is enough to observe the air in the room, both during the day and at night, and then you will easily see strange things that are all real. Try to feel the air and see it physically. The synchronizations you receive are very normal and have more of a warning aspect than a beautiful and good sign. You can spend all day trying to cut off your inner dialogue second by second and witness magic all around you.

[-]
u/atiehhakimi 5 points 2023-07-30 12:10

Changing one's perspective is truly considered a big step in a person's life. However, this change in perspective can also be achieved through reading other books or searching on YouTube and Instagram through psychology and psychotherapy pages. So nothing special happens except that you continue to make excuses for not taking real action and ultimately settle for small normal changes. What is important is the realization of a reality outside of your perception. Seeing something that will never convince your mind and logic. A big shock to your logic not due to psychotropic substances. But in normal circumstances while cutting off your inner dialogue. Or repeating a strange unnatural act for days that confuses you and ultimately receiving a very strange reward from the spirit that shocks you every time you remember it. So try not to convince yourself. And now that you're driving, pull over and walk and scream out loud and ask for intention and request help from infinity in your silence exercises.

Hi All, beginner here from the Philippines. I started doing Tensegrity 2 weeks ago and immediately I noticed my physical issues went away. I also started with Recapitulating. The only thing is every time I go to sleep it feels like party. I turn off my lights when I sleep and I see green jedi swords waving at me. One night a guy jumped at my stomach and that hurted. After recap I saw a shadow staring at me. Is that normal and what should I do?

Where to start.

Including the advise also given in these responses, the following passage from The Sorcerers' Crossing came to mind where Don Juan demonstrates the movement of the head and breathing that are to be used when recapitulating ones life:

Page 132:

"Your movements are too jerky," he said in a low murmur. "Breathe like this."
He inhaled deeply as he gently turned his head to the left. Then he exhaled thoroughly as he smoothly turned his head to the right. Finally, he moved his head from his right shoulder to the left and back to the right again without breathing, then back to the center. I copied his movements inhaling and exhaling as completely as I could.

"That's more like it," he said. "When exhaling, through out all the thoughts and feelings you are reviewing. And don't just turn your head with your neck muscles. Guide it with the invisible energy lines from your midsection. Enticing those lines to come out is one of the accomplishments of the recapitulation.

He explained that just below the navel was a key center of power, and that all body movements, including one's breathing, had to engage this point of energy. He suggested I synchronize the rhythm of my breathing with the turning of my head, so that together they would entice the invisible energy lines from my abdomen to extend outward into infinity.

When I first read Magical Passes, now that I recapitulate, I never really read it, merely would flip through, look at the pictures, flick the webs of my fingers all claw like, and put it off til it felt right. Found tensegrity the YouTube video with the cachmole haircuts and the only pass I have down is the ending where the hands come as a loop and meet in the center. Anywho, I came to reddit a while ago, googling casteneda, and sent an email l, may have been a message, I wasn't sure how to 'post' on here, and not sure I'm even typing this in the correct spot.. anywho, a question I could never find answered or elaborated more, and I appreciate any slight commands one would have to a woman on her period. What magical Passes would she focus on and what other practices should she do or not do while surfing the crimson tide? Also, the YouTube video mentioned above, if they are fake/made up passes, (not saying they are, I KNOW NOTHING) wouldn't the practice of them anyway be sorta not doing or kinda controlled folly? One more question, should I first start by moving my living room table outta the way, pull up YouTube, and commit 3 to memory before practicing in my blacked out walk in? Forgive me if these were asked before, link it to me please?
magical passes is unexplored and I could prolly pdf it to a tablet.

Proofreading this, I sound like a rere, an old narcotics anonymous 'sponsor' once said, hooking up with a newcomer is like fucking a cripple, it's not right. Idk why I typed that but. SEND
