You'll get better advice from others, and I'm sure they'll show up soon.

But here's the truth:

Suffer, suffer, suffer.

Until blood drips from your nose.

Until you see the finest details of where your internal dialogue comes from, and why you can't stop it.

But you're at a serious disadvantage from those drugs.

You'll have to overcome that problem at the same time.

Again: SUFFER!!!

If you have the idea you shouldn't be suffering so hard trying to remove it, you've been fooled by fake magical systems.

You can't sell people "suffer" as your main technique.

So they created lame substitutions for the internal dialogue, in the form of meditation techniques which barely work at all, and even that very very slowly.

But the suffering really pays off later!

Not just when you actually see real magic.

I mean, much, much later.

When you're gazing into the darkness but it's filled with sparkles and poorly formed dream scenes, and you keep getting sucked into a dream only to return and be unable to remember it.

It's "low energy silent knowledge".

Which can be overcome, if you did a really good job of suffering until you KNOW where your internal dialogue comes from.

So that even when it's easy to be silent, you can still see the "where it came from" parts holding back Silent Knowledge.

Remember, even lame Asian meditation systems admit that if you can shut off your internal dialogue, you are "enlightened".

It's just that they never actually did.

So they remain totally lame.

And when they find out some can, and see far better magic than anyone in their system ever had, they change their tune and claim that's not enough.

But at least, you know you'll be "Enlightened" if you succeed.

For what that's worth.

I doubt it can even buy a cup of Starbucks. Green cup aside.

But it might console you during all the suffering.

Just keep repeating: "I will kick the Buddha's delusional butt when I succeed at this, and go further than any Yogi or Daoist ever went. So it's worth all the suffering."

Thank you for your time
I will keep trying to deconstruct the root of the internal dialogue through the breathing technique that is in the wiki.

I sure hope not.

The only way you'll be able to remove it, is through darkroom.

There are of course other methods, but no one has ever succeeded at them, so unless you want to be the first to master "The right way of walking", better stick to what's been proven to work.

You need your assemblage point to move!

And that takes visible magic.

I have no idea what that technique in the wiki is, but I consider "breath work" to be an abomination that keeps people from every finding the real thing.

A fake magic franchise used by dishonest people, so they can steal from others.

The only breathing exercises worth doing are embedded in the Tensegrity.

Sounds like you're possibly a "corner cutter"?

The drugs would back that idea up.

It won't work, since learning sorcery requires you INTEND to learn it.

And make a commitment.

"Learn" is not quite appropriate.

Sorcery is a gift. From infinity.

It starts by showing infinity you are serious.

Then it watches to see how hard you work.

And you get "gifts" of amazing progress viewing real magic, about once a week if you keep working steadily.

If you're trying to find an "easier way", you'll get gifts for something else.

Not sorcery.

Carlos actually created "proof" people were serious, and required them to do it before they could learn.

Some totally awful.

Tony Karim had to have sex with the double woman, Carol Tiggs.

Cholita only had to stop smoking, cut off her long hair (she loved all the male attention she got for her beauty), and she had to work a job chosen for her by Carlos, for 6 months.

THEN, she could attend private classes.

Carlos once tried to do "group proof of sincerity" in a private class, asking us to "Walk to San Diego".

110 miles.

No one was willing to just take off, after class.

The next day Felix asked, "What will happen if we do?"

"Too late!", Carlos said.

At the very least, go outside and shout, "INTENT!!! INTENT!!! INTENT!!!!"

That was the "minimum" act of proof Carlos asked for.

Then, pick 5 tensegrity forms, learn them, make yourself a dark room, and you'll be in business as long as you practice each night.

Force silence, while doing the 5 forms in sequence.

With what you have in mind you'll never get anywhere.

Mostly because "infinity" isn't stupid.

It can see a lack of commitment.

Think of it like a girlfriend.

You can't fool those!

They know when you're eyeing other women, and behaving as if pleasing them is too much work.

But in the case of "infinity", it knowing you aren't serious doesn't mean it won't gift you anyway.

But you'll get gifted for something else, that isn't really worth learning.

Maybe you'll become the world's best Jehovah's witness.

Or the world's best Wim Hof breathwork con artist.

I have no idea what that technique in the wiki is, but I consider "breath work"...

https://www.reddit.com/r/castaneda/comments/onfa7t/the_right_way_to_breathe/ - and that's it

You can't use a story from the books out of context.

Once you reach the purple zone daily for months, you'll be able to focus on your breath and move your assemblage point also.

But that's due to the double, not to your physical self. It detects "playtime" in your breathing, and comes around.

Kind of like making slurping / eating noises loudly, and your dog comes running.

The double does that too.

And that's because your assemblage point can already move over there and you've already had interactions with it. So any "excuse" to swarm you, it'll likely use.

Not to forget, in this story it's Taisha. Who's assemblage point was moved even further than mine by the Nagual's blow.

Over and over again.

Without that, what Clara said to her would have just been empty advice such as Yoga classes can also give.

There's endless breathing techniques out there, but no magic so far.

When someone brings some that results from breathing exercises, I'll change my grumpy opinion.

Or until Cholita kicks my butt over it.

But for now my opinion is (and it's obvious to anyone who's seen real magic) that "Breath work" is just an excuse to get out of actual work. People take it up as a pacifier.

Just like sleeping dreaming is for men.

They go to bed, and pretend to be working.

Of course, if you REALLY practiced either of them properly, they could work.

I'm not sure how you'd practice the breathing properly, but it would be with the goal of perfect silence, and seeing vivid magic in your face.

Perhaps, practice blowing the air in perfect darkness, until magic starts to materialize from your breath?

That's entirely different than believing doing smooth breaths will help anything.

As for sleeping dreaming, it's actually "irresponsible" not to do it, even if you're a man.

How could you pass up a chance to force silence as you fall asleep?

But it doesn't count as practice time.

And won't do any real good until you reach the purple zone through silence and understand "the abstract".

Which Carlos had done, when he created Art of Dreaming.

It's potent with struggling and intentionally doubling on that, but do you really get nose bleeds?
I've tried the best techniques along with tensegrity I have what I like but without struggling to keep the inner silence (with serious intent) it's only going to be a routine I think. Great answer

[-]
u/danl999 5 points 2023-10-01 18:25

Trust me, you can get nose bleeds!

But only the first month or two of serious effort.

There's two ways to look at this.

By FORCING it, you become more familiar with it. Which comes in very handy later on.

Let me make a silly example.

If I had a swimming pool (Cholita won't allow it), and it got filthy due to neglect, or maybe Cholita tossed garbage in it for weeks while I was away in Asia, my method of cleaning it might be to jump in there, with the garbage, and pick it out one piece at a time.

That's the "force it" method.

You become VERY familiar with what Cholita has been doing those last weeks while you were gone in Asia.

Which provides valuable information!

But it really sucks to do that.

Cholita's method would be to get me to take the garbage out.

While she took a nap nearby on a lounge chair, wearing a bathing suit, so I didn't feel like she wasn't helping.

Both methods work for learning to be silent.

Force it out.

Or fall asleep.

That's a really good example. If i got it right the source of the internal dialogue can be forced or asleep and made me wonder more on drugged intoxicated but still functional. I now am anxious if it should die completely but you mention it's all trash. Can getting rid of it for good be okay? Or like enslaving it maybe with a mantra?

[-]
u/danl999 8 points 2023-10-01 19:22

Our natural state is to have no internal dialogue.

We were like that for 290,000 years.

It's only the last 10,000 that our minds got taken over by it.

Imagine what would happen to your favorite dog, if you could inflict an internal dialogue on it!

It would be going around angry at you for stuff you did 5 years ago.

If you can get rid of it, suddenly you live in a world filled with magic, every minute of the day.

I suppose it's a bit like, if you could go live in Fairy Land permanently, and there were no people here you'd miss, would you do it?

Not that horrible Elf place from "The Rings of Power".

Elves are not very nice to humans.

That's good 🙄. Haha reminds me of a guy who mentioned taking a crew to go past the ice wall and reach asgard but wasn't sure to take weapons or not.

[-]
u/TechnoMagical_Intent 4 points 2023-10-01 21:53

my method of cleaning it might be to jump in there, with the garbage, and pick it out one piece at a time.

...only to have the stream of crap that filled it up in the first place deposit more garbage into the pool in a matter of minutes....thus the IMPORTANCE of recapitulation.

Without it, the odds are not in our favor.

Memorize the magical passes. Watch the old videos from the 90s. Follow their exact movements. Keep rewinding and repeating until you get them right. Replace your internal dialogue with the language of the magical passes!

u/Standard-Adeptness90 1 points 2023-10-02 05:35

Hi! The magical passes are a bunch of physical movements?

[-]
u/pinkerton904 1 points 2023-10-02 13:27

Yes, Techno's link should provide plenty of content. Carlos Castaneda's 1998 book titled "Magical Passes" might also be of use.

u/Orcus216 6 points 2023-10-01 17:44

Practice the Westwood series magical passes, there is a series specifically for helping to attain inner silence.

The inner dialogue is never in the present and always makes the thoughts revolve around things that have passed or could be. The only thing that exists in the present is the perception of the moment. Do that with the thoughts, observe them. Observing is something different than thinking. The thoughts will become fewer until they stop. That's the beginning of inner silence. It may sound simple, but it requires concentration. So it's something different than meditation. Silence must be trained. This also trains a certain kind of attention. We call it the second attention. It's the same attention needed to observe the thoughts, and also needed for gazing exercises. Gazing also counts as perception of the moment, but with eyes open.

Hello in my case i sometimes gets music in my mind or images how can i go about themthdn ?

[-]
u/tabdrops 5 points 2023-10-02 06:44

Is that supposed to be an excuse for not practicing? Then start by observing the images appearing in your mind. Just don't mix it up with self-indulgence. Observing includes sobriety. It accumulates with inner silence.
