Regarding ‘Swimming on the ground’

I have to admit when it comes to my practice there is certainly room for improvement in terms of effort as well as reading the later parts of the books. However I do practice silence and recapitulation extensively.

And I can’t get this scene out of my head that was described in the books as swimming on the ground. Not sure which book it was.

As I was lying in bed this morning I was forcing silence and every now and then when I am successful things happen. One of which is my visual perception changes and I start to see energy again which I last saw when I think I was a young child.

The other thing is my legs automatically go into stretching. Not like spasms. I am still doing it but it goes naturally and it feels “normal”.

I did have more stress in my legs recently because of work stress and exercise i think and these movements brought immediate relief.

And I couldn’t help but be reminded of the swimming on the ground scene described by Carlos. Because although what I was doing wasn’t exactly like swimming, my legs actually did move exactly like when I was swimming. My upper body was also tilting and turning.

And what’s interesting to me is that the scene in the books was described as “titanically bizarre” I think it was these movements felt completly normal when I was silent for a split second.

However when I try to repeat them while being in the grip of the world, they don’t really make sense. I just don’t feel it.

I just try to make connections between my life and what’s being said in here and the books to make more sense of this path.

I also feel more like: while all of this here is far from the ordinary and it means letting go of all the fun stuff of the world, it seems it actually can come in handy when things in the real world turn shitty, but more often than not, we don’t appreciate or cannot recognize the effort because we don’t draw the correct conclusions? I guess that’s a human instinct: we always want it easy. And we always want it all.

Just let me know if these kinds of thoughts are helpful or if they are more of a hindrance feel free to delete them 👍

Cleargreen even made a video of a pass first presented in 1999, with the title "Swimming on the Earth." Can't point to it here, but the spirit of it is similar....even if the veracity is potentially questionable (as early as 1999?).

There was a pass called love for the earth or something like that. You kind of swimmed but without the twisting and turning you mention

And' Love for the Earth' is likely a different arrangement of 'Affection for the Earth,' since I couldn't line the notes for that pass up with the video demo of 'Love for the Earth,' despite the similar title.

Swimming on the ground requires shrinking the tonal so that the energy body takes over.

So unless those movements move your assemblage point sideways, at the depth of the deep red or beyond, you won't be able to do it.

I don't know what happens to the physical body when it "shrinks", but we have all sort of clues in the books.

For example, the old seers burying themselves under rocks, and then managing to live on for hundreds of years as long as they can scare a passerby to death once in a while.

But shrinking the tonal allows all sorts of wonderful magic, which breaks the laws of physics.

So imitating the movements is only useful "indirectly" because it might produce some latent intent in your, and then if you are perfectly silent and focus on something magical, the assemblage point can shift horizontally into sleeping dreaming, or something closer to that, and you can swim on the earth.

But you can also jump off a cliff, leap into outer space, or my very favorite, if you are Cholita you can lift someone with one finger, if you know how to pull their energy body and cause their tonal to temporarily shrink.

Just make sure the interest isn't "show biz" oriented?

Like the waterfall trick Genaro did.

People obsess over that, and start studying ludicrous Chinese writings on "the will".

Because the goal is attention seeking, not actually learning to do that.

Which in fact, was just him in his double.

Likely showing how the double moves around, when "seen".
