I've been reading journey to ixtlan and the headband dom juan mentions in the chapter that castaneda has his first power battle and sees the bridge was a thing that really stuck with me, recentely i had my first ayahuasca experience, and during the trip i had this vision of the headband really clearly, i know the exact cloth material and color of it, i wanted to know if anyone in here has made one and how it affected your dreaming experience.

If I remember correctly, headbands were briefly mentioned as helping with entering dreaming as they give you something to focus on similar to that of the silence rocks or sticks. Cant recall where i read that though, i have a vague idea it was somewhere in the art of dreaming or maybe sonething I read on this forum? That being said, it's probably not a good idea for you to be hyperfocusing on anything you saw under the influence of drugs. Drugs shift the assembledge point to a specific location and don't allow flexibility. What u see under their influence isn't proper seeing. In fact, it was only needed initially in the books due to carlos having a very limited view of the world that was difficult for him to let go of. Don Juan needed to show to Carlos that there was more to this world than he initially understood.
Did you even scroll down and notice the posts in here on waking dreaming?
If you then went so far as to pick one which had a picture that you liked and read it all, you'd have a 50/50 chance of realizing there's no path to sorcery knowledge the way you're going.
Never was. Not in any of the books.
Our community just made it up because it's easy to pretend your ordinary dreams are magical progress.
"The Art of Dreaming" has the full instructions for that path.
Which no one ever follows.
And they start with "find your hands". No hands found each time, and it won't work.
Without following those instructions, that path is impossible.
Not only that, but if you follow the detailed instructions Carlos gave, you'd find it's a fairly unpleasant way to learn sorcery.
Do your dreaming AWAKE!
You'll blow away any ayahuasca experience anyone has ever had.
Nightly.
Plus Carlos left us his two allies, which might visit you if you move your assemblage point enough to perceive them.
Once you get over the urge to piss your pants, you'll find they're a lot of fun!
Whereas when you run into inorganic beings in dreaming, they just push you around.
Either way that is not something you can make for yourself. It must be gifted from what i recall
Go ahead and make it! Post pics. Be the first here to report on the headband's effects.
