What happens after we die?

Do humans perhaps become inorganic or merge with their double after they die?

No, you get eaten by the eagle and your energy gets recycled

As long as he has something appetizing enough to give. :P

Yep, gotta get that recapitulation done to avoid that haha

At this point, it can be just summarized what's in Carlos' books anyway. There's a wiki in here for such cases.

The question of death may be on everyone's mind, but it's usually just intellectually (mental masturbation). This subreddit isn't the right place for such a concern.

In fact, most people aren't concerned with actual death at all. Rather, it's the inner dialogue which fears its end, and the imagination of death is just an association. That's why real inner silence will change the point of view at death anyway.

merge with their double

For a very short while, yes.

Then an aberration that is a direct result of how we're socialized to live occurs, and what should be a natural process of evolution...ceases.

And it's game over.

Thank religion for that, thru prioritizing belief over (esoteric) actions.

Without a container to keep it together, your energy just explores too far into the dark sea of emanations, as "pieces".

And those pieces perhaps explore as smaller pieces.

Until they aren't sentient anymore.

A fistfull of energy body glowing light is not quite sentient. But it can be made to do things.

It takes a soccer sized ball to be sentient.

Our total awareness is divided in half. The tonal awareness, and that of the double.

But both halves can "subdivide". Perhaps 8 sentient pieces for each half.

Meaning, you can take a puff of your energy body and form it into a sentient being using the Pandora's box pass.

It might even stick around in your darkroom for more than an entire day!

Fully visible. Possibly even able to poke you with its finger and be felt.

But your tonal awareness can subdivide too. It's just that it's mostly stuck in your organic body.

Even so, it sends a tiny puff along into sleeping dreams, which is how you can be rational in them (once you find your hands).

So all of your awareness can "subdivide". And your energy body even tends to flatten out, on the inside of your luminous shell.

These are facts you can see for yourself, with your own eyes.

And experiment with.

So what typically happens at death, according to the new seers, is that your awareness is freed, thus without any container, on death.

And finds itself being examined by "The Eagle".

Which is just a mistake some new seer made hundreds of years ago, claiming that whatever it is that cares about probing the multiverse using manufactured living beings, looks like an eagle.

But whatever it is, other than an emergent property of awareness flowing in the zillions of superstring "emanations", it extracts "meaningfulness" from the awareness.

Takes what it was after.

To "know" all possible realities from the point of view of a being which lived in one.

Recapitulation gives it those key conclusions ahead of time, so that the extraction process is somehow weakened enough for you to dart around whatever it is, and escape.

But you still need to find a container.

Or you'll subdivide exploring without one, until you aren't sentient.

That's the fate of most people, according to the new seers.

Seers in general devised schemes to avoid that.

But there's no point in discussing those, since you can't possibly benefit from knowing about them.

Until you can witness your awareness directly, as we do in darkroom, you might as well join the Jesus people.

They have the easiest pretend path to immortality.

Or if you like to party in the nude, join the Satanists.

The Buddhists should be avoided because they want to steal your entire life, and will still tell you it's probably not enough.

What happens to our double when we die? Does it die along with us?

Of course.

Your double is NOT different from you.

It's just a "subdivision".

It can even further subdivide into 8 copies which still retain enough awareness to be sentient.

None of this is "theory" or the "wise teachings of Rinpoche Bob".

You get to experience this over and over again, first hand.

When you reach the red zone, your double might even walk right over to your bed and sit at the foot of it, looking away from you.

While you are FULLY AWAKE.

With your eyes open.

Of course, that could also be an evil witch playing tricks on you using her own double to imitate you.

But evil witches that powerful are extremely rare, so rather than be frightened you'd welcome an "attack".

Just as in the books of Carlos!

It can actually happen just that way for you, sort of "repeating" the history of how sorcery was learned in the past.

There's a complicated reason for that, but it's a long topic.

As much as I love Castaneda's books... to answer this question go have a search in r/gatewaytapes and have a read of Bob Monroe's books. You'll find the answer to this question there.

Why would you care about knowing that while being alive? Like whatever happens it will and I can guarantee you it's going to happen but right now I'm living. I want to know what can happen while I'm living. And I want to ask you a question. What will happen to me when I get arrested? Well the cops might put you in handcuffs take you by vehicle to some institutian or another and for my crimes they'll probably restrict me for many rotations around the sun. And you can tell me all that but i will still not know what it's going to feel like like I like know how it felt to on that warm summer night. Just after the sun went under the horizon but it was still bright. This is it - I told my partner in crime. We went by the dirt road among the trees ---

In this case, it is helpful to know. You have a chance to “save” yourself but it seems you must complete the work while you’re still alive.

I would hate to find out only after I’m dead that I could’ve extended my existence exploring the universe, but now it’s too late.

Seems even more important than anything else could ever be.

I think episode 3 of midnight gospel talks about this. It talks about the creation of a solar body that protects you from disintegration upon death. This really got me going. Then I heard of the book balls of fire by Judy Kay king. She seems to be onto something from my precept. Anyone else up on this

From what I've seen, death happens long before our physical bodies die. Sometimes it takes years, which means a lot of people are living their "afterlife" right here and now, without being cognizant of it. In fact, this realm is considered an abomination by the seers, because the living and the dead "co-mingle." They find it unnatural and horrifying. So, to answer your question--what happens after we die? Nothing. We go on about our lives, waiting for the inevitable.

What happens after the inevitable--our physical death? Well, we reenter the "food chain."

Our luminous body resembles a cocoon, sort of like a sleeping bag. There is a liminal space between the two dimensions that exists just above the physical realm. It looks just like earth, but with a "web" of lines in the sky. Our cocoon is suspended on this net. When it's time for the harvest, the Eagle/s descend upon the lines, the cocoons are ripped open and the contents devoured.

I assume once we are eaten our consciousness does not extend past this moment, but that's just my assumption.

Also, not all of the cocoons are devoured. Interestingly.
