Long time lurker being practicing my internal silence a lot lately especially before sleep
Read all the books almost
So last night i tried the blindfolded eyes shouted my intent did my best to supress the inner dialogue then i started seeing faces
I closed my eyes a few times since i was tired but then there was a purple snake just like a long puff
Afterwards the faces stayed in my eyes even when i closed them
It was mostly of an on old man with a long white beard and long white hair staring at me
In your opinion am i pretending ?

No, unless you lied.
But you aren't doing "darkroom". At least not what you described.
You're liable to become a magic pretender like the Astral Travel folks, falling to sleep and dreaming about results due to a waking obsession.
That's why you're supposed to be standing up, doing tensegrity. To prevent dozing off like all the other closed eye magical systems do, and then claiming your dreams fits the cult narrative.
That's not to say it wasn't cool what you saw, assuming it wasn't actually a dream.
It's just not a path you ought to want to go down.
You want the double to come out into the REAL world, not go chasing after it in dreams, which you already do nightly anyway.
The women can get away with closed eye laying down dreaming, because they literally have a second brain in their womb. And "womb dreaming" puts a weight over it, to direct the attention there. Then they silence their internal dialogue, and eventually they activate the second brain and get to perceive reality as it flows, using that in part.
It would be like a mad scientist grafted a Llama brain on your stomach, and figure out how you could switch to using that one, to pay attention to all of your senses the way a Llama perceives things.
So that you have two, and one of them is totally alien to you.
Thus women can use womb dreaming, and it's not a dead end which causes them to exaggerate their ordinary dreams.
Remember: The "puffs" are a real, sentient being. Or at least a piece of it.
And they don't like how much you stink. How your mind is filled with endless suffering.
Because if they get too close to your torso and brush up against it, they pick up your endless suffering. Its like you live in a permanent nightmare, and they don't need more of those.
So they've fled.
You have to lure them back, not go to sleep and figure out which version of reality they're currently occupying.
You lure them OUT with the Tensegrity.
They like it. I have no idea why, but you'll get to see them visibly, helping you out with the Tensegrity moves, in the red zone.
You'll have a third arm or something else equally impossible.
Their arm.
Just make sure you aren't an Ass**** (Uh... Astral traveler) type.
Those never get anywhere because all they do is exaggerate ordinary dreams and, I've been gold, hand money over to the main mod of that subreddit.

Don't forget that you have to "intend" to learn sorcery.
Because of how reality is really just a stream of sensations and feelings from the vast sea of the emanations.
The same way you examine your situation inside a dream, and truly believe you're a meat packing free agent working for the circus. And have been your whole life.
You can even remember back years!
But it's a dream you just arrived in, seconds ago.
That's how sorcery works in the first place!
It's reality manipulation by using your awareness to focus on something different, to activate a different flow.
And ultimately, when you move where your beam of awareness focuses, there's the overall latent awareness of past users of the dark sea, making some things easier to perceive. So that even if y8ou move it to a new place, there's old tendencies there.
Making a subset of the new focus, easier to "assemble".
Thus we get to visit God and Heaven, FOR REAL!
But so did mystics from all sorts of systems.
Because there's aren't hard to reach.
They have the glow of awareness of BILLIONS of people making them shine.
The path of sorcery however, only has perhaps 150 left lighting it up.
In the past, perhaps 10,000 total.
So it's very hard to find.
The techniques of the subreddit don't actually teach you sorcery.
They just help to shine your awareness in the right direction.
And if you do a half-assed job, there's no hope.

I don't seem to be able to reply to your "why snakes" comment.
When the assemblage point moves, the beam of your awareness focuses on a new "reality".
Might not be much different from your current one at first, but later it can even be an absolutely alien world where you barely recognize anything.
But at first, when it's chaotic, anything being held in your awareness. even if you don't remember it, can direct what you see.
Because in fact, you can extract just about anything at all, from the emanations.
Advanced seers make entire cities, and then share them with other people. And they seem perfectly real.
our "death defier" who is 8000 years old, made a city that's still located back in the 1600s. When people enter it, they're back in the 1600s.
So why are you obsessed with snakes?
No way for me to know.
We call that the "scary clown effect".
If you tell someone to watch out for the killer clown, you increased their chances to see one, visibly, 10 fold.
Just don't get obsessed with the "meaning" of things.
That's "show biz" thinking.
Profiteering.
Trying to think of how you can gain from it.
That will keep you from going any further until you get over worrying about other people, and just practice seriously, for yourself alone.
If the snake comes back many times, then that's worth figuring out. That might be a real, live spirit.
But it won't.
Even the spirits can't keep the same appearance every time.
When you hear a story about magic and the person sees the same thing reliably, you know the story is a lie made up to steal money.
