what does this community think of Carl Jung?

sorry if this is another low effort post. i'm assuming the reply will be something like we should forget about Jung/others because it will clash with the intent of the sorcerers of ancient Mexico but i just wanted to ask to be sure. what do people think of him/his ideas?

He has no magic, it's just psychology, so probably not a concern for most people here.

Personally? I like him a lot, studying his work opened my mind to something beyond materialism, it was actually my first step towards magic.

The stated purpose of this subreddit is to aid in restoring the reputation of Carlos Castaneda and the knowledge he imparted, by pragmatically applying that knowledge IN PRACTICE. This means that we are sticking to what really works, as proven by direct experience by long-practicing members.
No low effort posting, pretending, or wasting people's time.

Especially problematic posts, ex. questions that could be answered by either practicing or by reading more posts or from the books, will be removed and users who make similar repeated posts will be banned for a minimum of 3 months. Pretend sorcery which does not emphasize silence, and is based only on thinking and mood, will not be tolerated.
Self-centered promotion, jockeying for a "top-dog" position, & grandstanding are bannable behaviors.

Persons promoting behavior over effort to get silent and the necessity to move the assemblage point, and who won't give up that activity, are likely to be banned for a minimum of ONE YEAR.
Those being overly disruptive will be temporarily or permanently banned, at the mods discretion.

This is a blanket rule, meant to give mods a more broadly applicable option for a ban or content removal. Banned users still have access to the subreddit, wiki, and all its resources (except the group chat).
Please report content in violation of any of this subreddit's rules to the mods to be evaluated.
