I was surprised at the response I got just by titling a post "DON'T BE HERE NOW".
It was mostly a post about the mysterious black puffs, suggesting you should talk to them because they're sentient.
The point of the title was, if you follow bad advice from fake magical systems, you'll miss out on amazing magic that would make even Dr. Strange jealous!
But then it turned out, people were in fact mixing horrible meditation system advice, with our sorcery. Focusing on "the here and now" while trying to silence their internal dialogue.
That's like focusing on the centerfold in a Playboy Magazine, in order to avoid crossing the street to visit the strip club!
It's NOT going to work. Instead, you'll RUN across the street.
What you need to be doing is falling asleep, not paying even more attention to this mess we're trapped in.
Asian meditation systems only advise that because anyone can be fooled by thinking that concentrating even more on "me, me, me" will produce magical results.
It is quite simply, EVIL.
I don't know what else to call it. If you could see what seers get to see in Silent Knowledge, you'd call that delusion of "mindfulness" evil too!
However, as always, I have to point out that women can cheat, and whatever inspires them can help them.
So they can be "mindful" using their womb.
That would work...
Of course, Asian mysticism system leaders oppress and rape women, unless they finally realized they're a good source of revenue because women tend to trust "spiritual men".
So the idea that women are superior because of their womb, wouldn't go over well with Asian crap magic leaders.
But nothing pleases them, except that you hand over all of your money, and bow at their feet.
If someone wants your money, they have no knowledge of real magic, and certainly no deeper understanding of reality.

Soooo…you seem to know a lot, are very engaged and seem to dominate this sub, and also seem to be not very fond of those disagreeing with you. So I don’t seek a fight here, but calling Thich Nhat Hanh evil and an Asian crime lord is just over the line and flat out incorrect. While your sentiment might be true for some so called “gurus” and spiritual swindlers out there, it’s just not true in this case. Also, tantric Buddhism uses mindfulness as a foundation for the magical stuff that comes next, it’s not the end all be all, it’s a first step. There are many avenues to awakening and magical practice, there are also many charlatans and false prophets along the way as well, I think a little more discernment and nuance would be appropriate when making your claims (most of which I enjoy reading and following by the way, this one just sat wrong with me)…with love ❤️
Here's a picture of him seeking publicity by staging photos. We understand why MLK did that. He was in a fight for his life.
But TNH was in a fight for fame.
And from what I see on google, he's been doing that his entire "career".
Not to mention, Buddhism is a chinese lie. They made it up.
Go do some learning, so that you can escape that ugly prison for the mind.
The results of Buddhism are beginners effects, which you can see if you study this map.
We don't "speculate" as you are doing here.
We get to see such things with our own eyes DAILY.
And naturally, Buddhists like to dismiss magic as unimportant, in favor of things they can pretend.
But if there's no magic, then you didn't quiet the mind at all.
You NEED magic in your face, or you'll be deceived by greddy men like your Hanh guy, and then self-flatter yourself and believe you are superior to others.
Study this map.
Buddhists never get out of the "green station".
Then ask yourself, if someone really could move along this map and witness those sights, do you really believe they'd react as you are doing, when hearing there's a faster or better way to do that?
No! They'd be happy to hear it, and go check it out.
You get offended, because you're 100% pretending. Convinced by some minor "green station" effects you can get by many other methods, without all the attention seeking.
Meanwhile in here, there's around 50 who get to the red and orange stations on the map.
I spend hours each night over in the purple station.
By the way, using self-pity to shame people is a typical Buddhist ploy.
They're some of the nastiest people you could hope to run into.

Thich died a few years ago actually.
So did Ram Das
I put your comment on facebook, so others can see behavior like yours. But I left the ID out. Last time some guy claimed that was "doxing". As if I'd given out his home address.
My friend, I come in peace and like I said initially I do not seek a fight. If you felt attacked personally in some way please accept my apologies, that was not my intention. I simply was disagreeing with a point you made, nothing personal, just a disagreement.
I'm not a buddhist, and my intention is not to defend buddhism or advocate for it or degrade any other wisdom tradition. I'm a seeker of knowledge, truth and wisdom, and I like reading and studying everything that is available to us (obviously including the works of Casteneda).
The picture you posted of TNH is from when he met with MLK so he could fight for the end of the Vietnam war. Because he would not pick a side in the conflict, he was exiled from Vietnam for decades. He simply wanted an end to the fighting and the war. The US eventually quietly kicked him out as well, so he settled in France for most of the remainder of his life. Based on his work, MLK nominated TNH for a Nobel Peace Prize. Was he doing this genuinely for peace, or did he do it all secretly for fame? I didn't know him, but maybe the interested readers can do some research on his life, his teachings and his message and see if that adds up to an "Evil Asian Crime Lord seeking fame" as you contend he is. I'm not here to change minds, I was just expressing my opinion, everyone can read his work and listen to his talks and make their own determination (it doesn't scream "evil crime lord" to me, but that's just me).

Also, the Chinese did not invent Buddhism. The Indians did. Then hundreds of years later it migrated East to China and spread further from there. Again, my intention was not to defend buddhism or its teachings (and again I'm not a buddhist), just your characterization of what I consider to be a pretty awesome human. We can disagree on this point and still be on the same team (at least in my eyes).
I guess I was not aware of the deep anger and vitriol that was present in this community especially against buddhism, now I know. The anger that permeates this sub is a little confusing to me, but maybe as I keep studying I'll understand where it comes from. I appreciate that you are trying to help me, and the larger community, I really do. Humans are in a tough place and we all need some help at this point. Please keep this in mind when replying, I mean no harm and I come in peace (and thanks for keeping my handle off FB).
No you don't.
You're a "comrade" type bad player.
Go read the wiki on the side. Your "type" is covered there. Along with the details of your very bad behavior. Which harms all you come into contact with.
You're most of the reason thee world can't have real magic!
Buttheads like you.
Get lost.
I’m not surprised in your reply, seems there’s a pattern in your past replies similar to this. Maybe I missed the anger part in some of Casteneda’s books and teachings and you could point to?? Maybe this is your way of “helping” as you claim but to me it seems unhinged and I’m surprised you have such free rein on this sub to act as you do, but so be it. I hope there are others on here that don’t share your angry sentiments. I’ll spend my time elsewhere and see you on the other side friend….
