…if we’ve never stepped foot in one?
For context:
I had my second known contact with an IOB yesterday. They appeared as a young woman for a few seconds, and then as a tiny speck of light. But there was more than one speck. There was also a portal that had appeared shortly thereafter. I described seeing this portal several days before the contact: it was black, with a white border that looked like paper dolls holding hands in a circle. Sometimes the dolls changed color from white to gray, and sometimes the border caved in so that it looked more like a swirl. Or like there was no border at all, and the dolls were inside of the portal. Anyway, after the portal appeared I stuck my hand inside to find more IOBs. This was BEFORE I read Dan’s comment that we shouldn’t do that.
So does it sound like that was a portal to an IOB world? I’m in the green zone and can’t actually step inside them right now. I know there are at least two IOBs, because after I went to bed I had a vivid nightmare. They appeared as my own family members.
Thanks :)

There's no good answer to that one, other than if you move your assemblage point far enough, you'll just "know".
That's "seeing". But you can get early previews of it, as long as you reach the deep green zone where the puffs are no longer stuck to your eyes,, and can be moved around like real objects (more or less).
So if you really do get to the IOB world, you'll just "know" it.
That comes with 2 warnings:
Just because you "know it" at the time, doesn't mean it won't seem like total nonsense tomorrow morning when you wake up.
Because you "know" it, at that position of your assemblage point. When your assemblage point returns to normal, such knowledge is obvious nonsense.
I suspect the only way you get to "know" something and still know it the next day, is when you never stop "seeing".
The second warning is that there's no fixed view of the inorganic being's world. They are so alien to us, anything we perceive is just "residual expectations" from living our lives in the blue line reality.
I was playing with that last night. I'd gotten far enough into silent knowledge to just "know" something was there in the darkness. I could also see it, but as sparkles only touching the minimal features of the thing, so that it's "recognizable".
I made a post today, here's a fragment of it, to show a common sight: Visitors.
But reduce his glowing features by 90% and you'll be closer to the truth. I just couldn't do that with my animation software in any reasonable amount of time.
I had endless "visitors", each one with a history of their own. I knew who they were and where they came from, if I didn't get distracted by everything else in the room.
But then I remembered Carlos saying, he visited a cyclic being world with Carol Tiggs enough times to watch a child there grow up over the years. But did he really see it as it is to the inhabitants there?
He said, no. We can't do that. They could have 4 arms for all we know. And you'll still see only 2.
Unless you went to live there permanently, and then slowly you'd see it the way they do.
