I suppose each person will have their own personal experience with this technique.

It is difficult to talk about it, as there are no suitable concepts in our language.

I am more oriented to the ‘feeling’ and ‘intention’ that arises when using this technique. Logic does not help here, but hinders.

Hmmm - i thought those things were "thinking" too - just the thinking that happens before I solidify it into words

The stated purpose of this subreddit is to aid in restoring the reputation of Carlos Castaneda and the knowledge he imparted, which means we are sticking to what really works, as proven by direct experience by long-practicing members. We need to make clear our intent to move away, as a community, from the mistakes others have made. Content that is at-odds with this purpose will, upon review, be removed.

There are indeed many such gimmicks with thoughts. You could just as well force yourself to intentionally repeat the last thought over and over again.

The point is to realize that you're constantly identifying with your thoughts, but you don't have to. Then it's possible to stop the constant flow of thoughts and find the entrance to the depths of inner silence.

We consider this is pretending, and bad behaviour to spread on the sorcery community.

No one ever learned sorcery this way, not even you.

If you want to help, get serious.
