It's so confusing when people write one thing in the rules but act differently! Oh, I see! So, you're removing content on practical magic challenges and discoveries with a reference to "reputation protection"?

Hey there! Just wanted to see if you got rid of your sense of self importance completely

Oh, if only I could get rid of my sense of self-importance! I'd certainly be spending my time much more wisely than I am now, on Reddit.

We can still discuss the feeling of self-pity. It's in here, too. Right here on Tonal's island. Right here. Waiting.

If you are actually serious about open conversation and learning more, then this post wasn't a great start, just in all honesty. A very obvious voice from self pity. If you are serious, then i can trust that you can handle that comment without taking it personally. Just be willing to admit where you are, there is no shame in the grand scheme of things.

I doubt that the picture you uploaded can help stop the internal dialogue, so you saying it can, and defending that perspective, hinders others (and yourself). It's too gimmicky by far.

This picture helped me. Maybe it can help you too, who knows?

Describe what happens visually when you focus on that picture? It takes me 4 minutes to move my assemblage point before yellow and blue static fills the air, for example (and that's really a nothingburger).

The reason that it hinders others (and yourself) is that inadvertently you are tricking yourself into thinking about a paradox (Zeno's to be precise), instead of shutting off your internal dialogue. You are only trapping yourself by holding fast to this idea.

This is your 3rd instance of disruptive behavior. There will be further action upon review.

The automated response has been altered to address your concern/issue:

The stated purpose of this subreddit is to aid in restoring the reputation of Carlos Castaneda and the knowledge he imparted, by pragmatically applying that knowledge IN PRACTICE. This means that we are sticking to what really works, as proven by direct experience by long-practicing members. We need to make clear our intent to move away, as a community, from the mistakes others have made. Content that is at-odds with this purpose will, upon review, be removed.

I have also witnessed the moderator behaving very unlike a person of power here. But I have accepted that this is his subreddit, not Don Juan's. We are to conform to his ego if we are to continue to have the opportunity to interact with this many fellow sorcerers from the Castanedian Lineage.

Please, oh master, do not block me for this comment.

Listen, I understand where you are coming from. I have had the same feeling when I was just starting out and have joined this subredit.

I have had the feeling that advanced users have a secret that they are hiding, and felt that a lot of the times things were not told clearly, instructions not clear and scrambled.

I told myself it's because it's something real, something of value they are protecting and intended really hard to get into advanced sub. Eventually, I did. To my finding, meanwhile, it was true that they were protecting something of value, it still wasn't exposed in the private sub.

So I had no choice and started to work very hard. Harder than I worked at anything for absolutely no reward. The promise was big magic, but in return, I was getting only some lights and flashes. I ignored my merchant mind and continued working anyway. I said fuck reward, I will do my best just for the sake of doing it.

Eventually I started to understand what they are protecting and how. We call it bad players, those who steal real thing and sell it for money or attention. So no advanced user will share an actual thing that easily, even tho there are tons of tips and hints in small amounts in every corner of this sub. We don't don't want bad man to steal and go pretend magic. This is the last real piece of magic left after Carlos and we have to protect with everything we have.

But what's most importantly I realized is that even if advanced user shared step by step guide for dummies, and there were no bad men to steal it and go pretend, you still wouldn't be able to achieve anything unless you took this guide and worked very very hard at feeling and expierencing it yourself. So basically, it's the same thing as just following good old basic instruction. Stfu and do darkroom, beat that damn self-pity out of yourself.

You were activated by flyers and trying to make the only real magic sub available as your enemy.

Trust me, no one gives a shit about you to make any conspiracies around your big ass persona.
