Forgive my ignorance. Been lurking on this sub for a few months, reading different posts and trying to follow the guide on the FAQ. Question: J Curve

I am currently working on step 1: “silencing internal dialogue” through the Castenada system.

My question is about the J curve. For context, I’ve had “astral experiences”. Visual “hallucinations” induced from meditative states etc. orbs appearing, puffs etc. but I’ll have to admit I don’t understand why the J curve starts at the neck, and doesn’t include the head in its influence. I understand this sub isn’t a “Universalist/everything goes”.

I’m trying to word this as to not try to introduce “shit” out of respect for the sub and its goals (which I respect) but simply put: why doesn’t the J curve include the so called “third eye/crown chakra area” which seems to have a lot of influence when your awareness moves “into the forehead area” or gets dislodged from behind the eyes into some area in the head, which is common when inducing these “astral sight” phemenonon.

The J curve assemblage point diagram almost makes it seems like you’re assemblage point is never in your head, when for most people, our awareness is placed firmly behind the eyes.

As far as for example, moving your assemblage point to the “2nd attention” area in front of and to the right of your naval, as suggested in the video, it seems counter intuitive, you mean moving your awareness all the way there? In none of my meditative/altered states of consciousness did my sense of self ever move to that location, yet I was witnessing phenomenon usually attributed to the 2nd attention. I’m really trying to understand this so I know where to direct awareness after my inner dialogue has been quieted in a given session.

My goal would be to see the lights/orbs/puffs/scenes next.
