The app called "Magic Path" — handy for newcomers or harmful?

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.hcyclone.zen

There is an app on google play called Magic Path, I linked it here.

Does anyone know who is behind this?

It features "challenges" that are mainly made for, I would say, getting the grasp on the warrior mindset in the very beginning, but no real magic. No real talk about the practice.

It also features book quotes alongside the challenges, and a sketchy method of "grading" your own level of consciousness.

I have it on my phone because it's a handy reminder of book quotes, but it's silly to me. It's no different than having a bible app in my opinion — it's useless, almost.

But maybe I'm wrong. Does anyone know it?

I remember downloading that app a while back, out of curiosity. I might still have it on either my phone or tablet.

I came to basically the same conclusion you did after evaluating it for a while.

We're not aware of anybody in here who has made claims of creating it.

Just like there are a number of Castaneda themed forums on the internet, they are not all equal based on their content. Or intent.

That is an important distinction. A true sorcerer meets people on the level of what they actually do, only, and not on what they think about doing.
