Just keep in mind that we almost lost all the knowledge Carlos brought us, due to people being too lazy to follow the instructions he gave us.
Some are now pretending, based on the success of this subreddit, that there was never any problem at all.
Mostly those wishing to steal money by pretending to teach. Anyone who was serious, realized how gloomy the situation was until recently.
Even his "inner circle" failed to learn to move their assemblage points more than just some common closed eye meditation can.
People still hang out in our community doing nothing but visiting with friends, never getting around to putting in the horrible amount of work it takes to make the second attention appear on a reliable basis.
Which is what you need. "Magic in your face", daily.
Those who merely hang out have now turned it into a crummy religion where all you have to do is pretend to be working, and Carlos will come rescue you across some bridge, after you die.
It's nonsense... Don't fall for it. That was made up by profiteers.
Of course, none of the endless criticisms of Carlos turned out to be valid. I suppose you could disapprove of his nudity antics, but that's directly from the books if you've read all of them.
And his level of that was not even particularly out of line with the lineages. As it said in the books, Julian was far far worse than Carlos.
It's hard to teach sorcery if you have to succeed with specific people, as they did in the lineages.
So they used anything that worked. It was life or death to a lineage, as far as their apprentices succeeding.
Hopefully since our model for learning is completely different, we can do away with that sort of thing.
Since we don't have any imperative to help someone succeed if they won't work hard on their own. We always have new people coming that might.
Also, just in case you don't realize it:
You can never pair off with anyone and learn that way, because people who actually work hard enough to learn are extremely rare. So there's no chance you'll find a partner who is actually helpful for your own situation.
And if you did, you might end up with someone like Cholita.
Who I got paired off with, and who would rather kill me than help me (most of the time).
I'm just lucky she can do real magic and I accidentally get to see some once in a while.
Free undeniable real magic demonstrations are extremely rare.
It's one thing to break the laws of physics by yourself, all alone. In a few days, you won't even believe it yourself.
But an entirely different thing to see another person do that.

This place has to protect Itself as people are hostile to true magic and you've done the equivalent of barging in, beating your chest and shitting on the table, this place is also for teaching and learning, not for social fraternizing, that's part of the reality we are trying to escape from.
I made this post because of your post in ExMuslim, you know how shit this reality can be so if you stop being egotistical and just read and learn form this place you will have a chance at a path out of it, a path to true reality-breaking magic, done sober with your eyes open, I'm not holding out much hope though.

And if you truly had a clean enough link to intent to "have the spirit", to be a true sorcerer, then they would have done reality breaking magic equivalent to teleporting or walking through many, many times, we have a few like that in here and they teach without desire for profit or social benefits.
It's clear from your post that you where looking for social validation in It's creation, there is nothing more incompatible with sorcery, and if this sub-Reddit allowed every post like this it would be overrun with social fraternizing and lose It's purpose as a place of teaching.

Some here "could" do that, but doing so would mess with their current flow, their current intent, and it wouldn't really help you in the only goal you should have, learning to see yourself, you must have great independence to learn sorcery in the modern era, that's not to say that you can just make stuff up though, you must gauge your progress by the results of your practice.
As for if you are a double almost certainly not, It's mentioned in the books that double beings are extremely conservative as they hold onto reality twice as hard due to having two assemblage points, you would never have been able to free your self from your religion as I presume you did due to posting in ExMuslim.
And you would have never considered something as out there as attempting sorcery, you would be terrified by it, there is a reason that Don John and his whole lineage of sorcerers spend years and years getting Carlos on board.

No, no one with true sorcery cares about money, and taking a profit makes it worse, that destroys Intent, profiteering off magic is death to magic, anyone with that power has goals in realms you can't imagine, and when they aren't they are here teaching and trying to free those that they can from "the river of shit".

"Mesoamerican and Toltec spiritual traditions" are diffusions and folk tales of the true knowledge that existed in the Olmec empire and descended from ancient Siberians thousands of years ago that Castaneda gave us.
From the initial blurb it seems to in this instance to simply describe anyone who is a sorcerer, not a double being, you are a woman, I believe from your profile pic?, It's easier for woman and It's possible that you have gained limited sorcery ability on your own trying to follow Castaneda's books.
But as far as we know no one has made it far along this path without direct teaching from Carlos or the info on this sub-reddit and True sorcery is undeniably reality breaking.

If that's true then there is definitely hope for you, how long each session and how consistently?
You have been chipping way at it for a long time which is good, but you need to put in a lot of concentrated effort to break through this place recommends minimum one hour, but you really, really should work yourself up to two, do that for a month, focusing totally on the memories without fantasies and you will almost certainly make some serious progress.
Well, I know they are, but I don’t practice them because they have made me nervous in the past but but I think I’d be willing to try it now but yeah

You have an enemy within you, we are do, the "internal dialogue", "the foreign installation", "the flyers mind" the thing that forces us to exclusively perceive this reality and it will try and trick you and make you stop practicing.
Going into Sorcery realms is also a bit like going into the wild, It is scary and you must face that fear, Castaneda said that fear is the first enemy along the sorcerers path, and he wasn't lying.

Yes, Tensegrity is required to restore all of your energy, interest your energy body into coming to you , to manipulate the realities that you will preserve and to connect your intent to the intent of all the sorcerers of the past.
To answer another post you made you CAN NOT make up Tensegrity passes, if you do reach another layer of reality and find that a movement influences it you can use it, but it should not be shared as it dose not have the Intent that connects to all the old and "new" seers, there are enough fakes already.
And while you certainly do a LOT of good recapping without magic, a truly complete recap requires magic, you must remember the shape of every grain of grass that you saw while driving down the road while you where two, you must remember your birth in immaculate detail for a truly complete recap.
Not as impossibly difficult as it sounds when you have magical assistance, but still very difficult, when you have done that, or likely quite a bit before you can start recapping other people or objects, to view their history and SEE into the past.

I will say that Tensgrity has been extremely beneficial, "extremely healing", to my total being, mentally and physically I now do in every single chance I get and even stealthy in public, sometimes it feels like all of my movements take on it's "flow", it really is nothing to be afraid of.

Real Magic is Real Magic, the same rules of reality don't apply to us, Don John said that a sorcerer could live a lifetime in terms of intensity in a single hour.
And recap leads to real magic, so doing it the normal way Isn't a waste of time by any means.
