Mescaline Experience – Any Connection to Castaneda's Teachings?

Many years ago I had an experience with mescaline, and I'm curious if anyone recognize a connection to Castaneda's teachings, or has had similar experiences.

Here's what happened:

A stream of magenta/violet colored energy - forming a vertical circle around my body - spinning trough my head and down in front of me to somewhere on the lower body, and back and up around again, accelerating faster and faster, like spooling up, yet calm.

Then I was catapulted out in wast black space, and I traveled fast from a point to another, to another, and so on, at the speed of light, or almost instant.

The places I visited were empty hollow lights with no spesific information that my attention attracted to.

Traveling to hollow lights/points, in vast black space, with the magenta light as the vehicle.

And my little fingers on both hands were contracted/folded into my palms for several hours.

And later when i went outside to catch some air, there was magenta color pulsating like a wave up and down the street trough all the street lights.

This happened 10 years ago. I just recently discovered Castaneda when I came across his book "The Wheel of Time", and many of the topics he touches on (also in other books) resonate with me in a flabergasting way.

Any words on this or guidance would be greatly appreciated
