Intent, as an "elemental" force in the universe, likely akin to evolution, is primarily derived from what you have done... and by what others have done.
Or tried to do.
And not by what we've thought about doing.
It's not even, exactly, the same as intention or what you meant to do. Or wished to.
I suppose the simplest way to think about it could be as a pattern or a template, that grows akin to a tree from a seed or fractally branches like a snowflake from a single germinating particle, that is reinforced. Cumulatively.
Or degraded into non-functionality; also cumulatively (as in religions or environmental contamination).

I know all that more or less. However, I was inquiring about the practical part. One has to clean his connection to “intent” by maintaining a good tonal. That part is done by being impeccable, that is, keeping one’s actions and deeds in perfect alignment with judgments and decisions. So if I happen to conclude that McDonalds is a terrible choice for my body, I shouldn’t eat it under any circumstance, therefore keeping my way of the warrior untethered. What interests me is the practical part of using intent for other purposes (health, getting answers, etc.).
These Malaysian natives have a simple system for one of their missions. They use stone positions in order to facilitate turtle hunt. It is such a brilliant technique but I wonder how does one make it work?

Depends on if you're talking about actual thinking or internal dialogue thought.
Animals think. Don't forget that. And they most certainly do not have a sense of self; though a few species may, somewhat, have shades of that.
I think we would be quite surprised if we collectively discovered where our actual thoughts come from.
And a bit deflated.
The powers of the individual and collective unconscious are something to behold!
I think it was either stated in the books or in the workshop notes that dinosaurs intended to fly...until eventually they could.
And I dare say they weren't thinking about flying.
Rather, that they sensed they needed to fly (because, of course, every living being has a mirror image/shadow, a double, and that double's perception is non-linear). To downsize into birds in order to survive.

I def meant “thinking with intent to act and act.” Not internal dialogue chit chat. I was recalling from the books, “warriors make lists and throw them out, and men of knowledge don’t think about acting, they act.” All crudely and loosely reworded by me.
Are you referencing Flyers and Flyers Mind? That’s all very deflating, but turn it around, it’s more motivation for seeking inner silence.
Flyers must interfere when we seeking silence and doing DR, would partially explain why our thoughts can run and extract emotional responses when we practice.

One gets the feeling, progressively, as you developed with sorcery practices that some of our actual thoughts (and not internal dialogue aberrations) come from outside us.
Thank you for your help. However, I quit this sub three years ago because Dan was basically the only one who would answer and everyone else just backed him. Honestly, his writing style is absolutely repulsive to me and I have an aversion even though his vast knowledge is undisputed. Anyway, I still don’t understand how is it that “our thoughts aren’t our own” and to what extent does the flyer’s mind actually influence our daily life/thoughts.

A wish activates 1 billion emanations of what you wish for. And the social aspects of getting it.
As a result, it can't really produce a clear glow in the emanations. And if it did make the desired outcome glow, all the other emanations that are tied to it from our obsession with "me, me, me" would pull it all back into the realm we know, which is a limited range of emanations.
It's like a little kid running up to their uncle and saying, "I want ice cream!!!"
Or, "I want ice cream. Next to that toy store. Let's go in and look at all the toys. I get to pick out 5 of them. And there's a McDonald's down the street. And I want to play on the merry-go-round in the little park there. You should push me on the swing too"
I'd do all that. As an experiment.
But most uncles wouldn't.
That's not to say that you can't pray for stuff, or do magical spells the way Cholita does, and activate intent. Get the result you were after. Mostly.
You can.
But it's very rare and fairly random for most people.
Even so, guided by all the wishes of mankind we seem to be evolving towards something else.
In the case of a seer, who is silent and as close to empty as humans can get, only what pertains to what is intended, is injected into the emanations.

Actually it was 4 different people.
The story is kind of about how people don't really look closely at others around them, and you can manipulate that with simple tricks such as the same clothes, or same hair.
This becomes an actual sorcery topic eventually! Something important to point out.
Remember this if you don't want to go astray, as our entire community did for 55 years. With everyone thinking sorcery is like everything else out there, meaning you just memorize some "wise" facts, and then pretend your results so you can steal money from others by pretending to teach them the same way you were taught.
Sorcery is only real when it's 100% "observational".
Meaning, you don't discuss or theorize about things. You actually see them, visibly. Over and over again until you begin to understand how they behave.

The reason why the wish of human kind creates an effect in the Emanation in my opinion is because the energy created by the numerous similar wishes becomes an intent. A strong one that will glow up the Emanation and manifest it into our reality. It will not change abruptly but slowly as the energy of the wishes acts like an avalanche, it becomes bigger and bigger and stronger and stronger and it changes from wish to intent.

I acquired my books from Amazon and listen to some from YouTube audio book channeI. I do mean to mix my beliefs with the beliefs of the community here. My comment often is the result of my rumination of the concept. I have learned from various sources prior reading the books. As I try to understand a new concept unfortunately often I cannot help to try to understand it light of what I have learned.

There isn't anything offensive, it's just tedious to need to correct unfounded statements all the time. At least if you are using the text directly quoted, there is less room for misunderstanding and can be shown where you might be misunderstanding more easily.

I was practicing tai chi for hours per day until I came here, and it took me a long time to set aside the whole idea of chi and taoism-based magic, but when I did, my practice went much better.
Do not ruminate and do not mix in anything from other practices and you'll do better overall. Women can make anything work because of their energetic structure, but men are more like glue.

Actually you get to witness this directly if you'll work hard to do as Carlos told us, before he died.
You literally get to see the emanations themselves, nightly, for hours if you have that much dreaming attention.
Last night for example, I was looking for the red ones La Gorda and don Juan used for flying.
I've seen them twice before with DRASTIC results when I grabbed them.
But they aren't easy to locate amidst all the magic going on once you are looking at the raw "Nagual".
You should learn to move your assemblage point into alignment with that of your double, as Carlos advised us before he died.
I made a cartoon.
You REALLY get to do what you see there. I have more times than I can count. Walk right through a solid wall, into another world. Awake, eyes open, completely sober.
The weird spirits in there are "Fairy" and "Minx".
Carlos gave them to use in private class, before he died.
They're available to you also but you have to move your assemblage point at least 6 inches down your back or they won't become visible.
It might require doing the magical pass Fairy said allows her to locate us.

Toward the end Don Juan also stresses that you don't need ritual to call for intent but often we ourselves who need ritual to make intent happens. Not sure if i am ”right” but as a sensation for me the wish comes from the head but the intent comes from the belly area. Its a different sensation. Thanks for asking so that had to ask myself this question. :)
