Q: What is happening with the energy / emanations when this event happens?
I practice couple dance and have noticed that something happens when i dance with someone sometimes. It has also occasionally happened when i have played instruments with other people, so i wonder if music/rhythm facilitates it.
What happens is that i experience extreme sync with the other person in the dancing. And when that happen i suddenly see an internal light turn on inside of me. It is like a bright light bulb that often start in the belly (solar plexus) and move upwards slowly often reaching the head. The light is so strong that i perceive it like white bright something, and it is mirrored in the person i dance with. It is overwhelming in intensity. I have seen the light in the other person as well and it is also reflected in their behaviour, that they noticed something quite strange happened.
Have ruled out some things. It is not attraction. It is not s*xual. It doesnt require actual touch with the other person. Last time we didnt dance close but held hands, but the moment before thishappened i experienced that i could forsee his every move. I knew exactly what he was going to do next.
The light turns on instantanously, no gradual transition. Then it lasted for a minute or so and then gradually faded out leaving a strange lightheadedness, i could feel my head being a bit blushed, but again, not in a s*xual way. More like from heavy work and rising up fast. Its very distinct and local.
What is this kind of sync and why does it cause something to light up?

Yes you said that already. I did expect someone here to have more general knowledge about energy yes, having dealt with energy for a long time, and that was my fault. I find it natural to encounter things that arent in the books with the continous practice of what is actually in the books. But again, lesson learned, i wont ask again.
Not necessarily, at least in as far as relation to other people goes.
Many here are of the "nerdy and odd loner" type that doesn't get along all that well with others. It's tends to be what motivates them to pursue this in the first place.
