If you're one of those people in our community who never actually does any work to learn real magic, and you like to pretend to be "better than that" when it comes to the inorganic beings, you're really confused.
You cannot move your assemblage point the way sorcerers do, without the dark energy of the inorganic beings.
And don Juan admitted, his problem with the IOBs was just that he was afraid of them as an apprentice. Julian loved to use them to terrorize his apprentices.
But don Juan did that too!
A better understanding of the inorganic beings will come to you when you can reach Silent Knowledge by yourself, and start to realize what the inorganic beings have been doing all these thousands of years. How they have always been merely an assistant to help people reach silent knowledge before they are capable of that themselves. They also add their own energy to your perceptions of other realms, long before you can find another human to go along with you.
So better appreciate them!
If you claim you refuse them because you're "impeccable", better grow up...
The key part in this image is an inorganic being trying to teach me to move my assemblage point all the way along the J curve, in one second. By gazing through a blue liquid.
It works! But only AFTER you get to see it at least a few times.
And sustaining it is a different lesson.

It's plain that they are of enormous importance on this path.
I've never had a cognizant interaction with an IOB, so I wouldn't know. Do they ever try to exact a toll or something along those lines?
Always...
But so does Cholita! Who can really do this when she wants to, although the AI could draw what I asked for. It's close though.
And I wouldn't give Cholita up for anything.
It's free magic! Without all the dark room antics.
The "tame" Allies like Fairy, always turn out to have been doing whatever they were doing for your benefit.
Minx, not so much. But you still end up learning wonders when he "extracts a price".
My "evil ally" which I named Fancy, tried to trap me in her frozen methane cave world several times.
But then on another occasion, she saved my life.
So having them consider you valuable isn't always a bad thing.
When he was dying, the Allies tried to save Carlos.
But their only way to do that, was to take him to their world.
Carlos refused but they still gave him a very hard time for a few days.
What's the deal with the inorganic beings' world? I mean, what's their motivation for trapping a sorcerer in there.
That's not well explained in the books, but here's what we do know:
They like hanging out with us, as much as we like hanging out with them! Except they aren't afraid of us, because they know we can't do anything to them. We're too stupid to realize that, even though don Juan told us so, so our kind is often afraid of them.
We speed them up, they slow us down. They like being sped up. And we're too stupid to notice being slowed down.
No one who went there to live, has died yet. Even the old seers from thousands of years ago, are still alive in there. So we don't know how long you can live on there, but it's a very long time. Perhaps they don't think what they're doing is "wrong", since we'd die in a short 90 years on our own.
What you perceive there, isn't what they perceive. We have various descriptions of what specific people perceived, and I've seen their world more than 12 times, and for 2 different types of inorganic beings. But what we see is more of a virtual world they help us create, for our benefit.
Apparently you can visit with others who live there, of our own kind. In the early books it's called "the world of the Brujos". And you can in fact "rescue" old brujos from there, and bring them back here. But you have to come up with a body for them. Theirs is likely long turned to dust.
You can of course, learn to perceive them, and just ask!
If you remember to do that.
More likely is that it's such a huge pleasure to realize you're hanging out with one, that you don't think of such a silly concern.
I suppose it would be like finally getting an old girlfriend in your bed, after 20 years of trying, and then instead of enjoying the moment, you start questioning her on why she's in your bed.
Great. 👍
My scout "noticed" this conversation, and I spent a full half hour sitting with Carlos and Amy, inside a stable dream last night.
They can extend their "offers" to just about anything you might want.
I've gotten some harim offers.
you said Carlos, do you still meet him? isn't he dead?
I "seem to".
And yes, he's dead.
In some cases, it seems more likely one of the Allies is pretending to be him.
EXCEPT, when it seems to be him, the dreams are more stable.
Usually waking of course. This particular dreams was "asleep", but only halfway.
The other 3 to 5 times I ran into him, I was fully awake.
And he doesn't talk much. But can.
by dead, do you mean he couldn't escape the eagle?
In some of your comments, you have said carlos found immortality and he is currently alive in a different state nand other you seem to imply he could not save himself
As far as we know, everyone other than those who stretch their luminous shells, has to let their physical body die.
It belongs to this reality. Sorcerers travel outside it, to other realities that have their own physical matter.
So if you choose to liv ein one of those instead of there, that body would have to die, and return to dust.
The physical matter belongs to the world you're assembling!
The problem we have is, we can't 100% ignore our physical matter, even while alive.
But sorcerers somehow "shrink it", and can even teleport it.
My belief is that they get the earth to push it around for them.
Like a flea on the back of a big dog.
But we don't have anyone yet with that kind of skill, and even if we get one, chances are they'll keep it to themselves when they know the answer to that question, because it's easy for someone who hasn't gotten there, to misunderstand.
And hard for someone who did get there, to realize the point of view of someone who isn't.
I got a big lesson on that last night, trying to figure out how to make use of "the abstract" to learn sorcery.
We have dozens in here getting lessons in waking dreaming, especially from the Allies.
But you also learn, by doing what you see int he pictures.
And then we have women doing womb dreaming, who learn more magic in sleeping dreams.
(Men should forget about that until they can do dreaming awake.)
But so far we know very little about "the abstract".
It's kind of like, the roots of a very large tree.
Everyone knows how to use the tree, and can easily see it.
But the roots are a mystery.
The abstract is like the roots of reality.
It's not filled in with pretty leaves and fluffy branches.
And yet, you can hold it as a form of waking dreaming.
You just can't describe it, or talk about it, afterwards.
If in the lineages they made use of IOBs, in the current path without lineages we use them even more—and not just to scare…
In the absence of nahual blows, interaction with IOB's must be constant if we want to keep some real magic alive.
I suppose the scouts approach when we catch their attention...
As we mature, we understand that being impeccable means being consistent with intent and energy.
Last night I discovered that the abstract lesson from the ally was actually about using your energy body, once you have it restored. The "blue liquid" was actually just the energy body hanging out, not being held in the "blue ball" form because you aren't focused on it. So when you pass through it and your assemblage point moves to the place of no pity, you really just summoned it to form more precisely around your physical body.
All of this is fully visible, so please beginners, don't try to visualize things. That's a self-pity filled activity that only stirs the internal dialogue. You can get some meager meditation effects with it, only because while you're engaged in it, you've altered your internal dialogue.
But you're nowhere near getting rid of it!
Full silence is what brings magic at the level of the energy body being vividly visible!
