Last night on my birthday it finally happened. During womb dreaming a large purple smoke puff appeared with children and a man in the field. I am not sure if I did it correctly but I reached out to the puff with a lot of energy trying to grab it. I went through a vortex but didn’t end up in the vision of the puff. Instead my astral projection was at my house and I was flying around looking at everything. This was one of the most amazing things I have ever experienced. Thank you for listening.

Not "astral projection".
It's your double. A real being, which can manifest physically standing right next to you, in the real world.
And it's the same as the puffs, if you can believe that.
Those puffs can subdivide, but eventually they merge together and form your "energy body", which is vividly visible while you are awake, when you get used to it.
You can even use it as transportation. I just don't know if it can drag your physical body along. That's unclear from the books, and if it can the furthest it ever dragged me was to the other side of my home.
That "double" can even work a second job on your behalf, the way the Nagual Elias did with his healing services headquartered 700 miles from where his physical version lived near Mexico City.
But of course we understand you. I just don't like to hear that Robert Monroe con artist term used, because it encourages pretending.
Some of our womb dreamers can bring their dreamer out into the real room, so they end up with a mixture of being awake in their room, and also asleep at the same time.
That's kind of why it's ok for women to use sleeping dreaming, but not ok for the men.
Because the women sort of merge the two using the second brain in the womb. Could even be that second brain can guide the double out.
Men can't do that... They they love that term "astral body", which they apply to ordinary dreams to make them seem important.
Dan you mention Robert Monroe. Keep in mind I’m not given to the new age stuff, but I stumbled on HemiSync and the claim the CIA developed it for expanding consciousness.
I’m curious as to what you and other senior practitioners think of HemiSync, is there any validity to it?

That CIA thing is the worst part of it.
Study the actual history of it, and ignore the claims that it produced results that the CIA was happy with.
Monroe was a con artist, and now his business has been taken over by the assistant he had, who scammed the CIA.
They even infiltrated a college or two, to give it what seems to be more credibility, based on claiming it's CIA tested and works.
When in fact, it never worked.
It was so ludicrous, they made an entire Columbo episode exposing the scam.
My guess is that Hemisync is no better than a teenager with headphones, relaxing to their favorite music.
Its eyes closed visualization heavy and that leads to pretending.

Im not "senior" in any way but I can provide my experience. I used this system for quite sometime before I found Castanedas material. Back in the beginning when I was just opening up to this kind of stuff and trying to learn "astral projection" and "shamanism"
It never worked for me. There's a lot of visualization that goes on in that systemand I think it just counts on people falling asleep or into some kind of trance and having a dream of some kind of success. I wont explain all of the various levels of the system here, but its like a system of development.
But it never worked, and I spent an hour or more every day using it. The one and only odd experience i had was once i blanked out and lost time with no memory of what happened.
Most interesting to me was there came a time that I started feeling like those frequencies were "not good". Not only not helpful, but it was as if there was some other thing going on that is only detected subconsciously, and it wasn't to my benefit let's say. I never stuck around to find out, and I stopped.
From the little i listened to it’s very “visualization” heavy which opens the door to pretending.
I gotta say, I noticed right away the one sound is ominous and creepy, if I’m pressed to put it into a classification it’s evil(ish). Maybe that’s what you were noticing?
Yes, precisely. This was coming from my perspective as a wannabe "spiritual warrior" and I had all kinds of weird ideas about things, but yeah. Dark forces or some such. Not just some of the sounds though, the whole system. Like a trap. I get that same feeling still about a lot of different things and to be honest its not too dissimilar to how I felt then about that!

Just a heads up dan. When you're responding to these new people that pop up and you say "it's your double" it'll cause confusion. With these new ager's, the Astral body is labeled as the Double that you enter when you sleep and dream.
From what i've been reading outside of the Castineda Material, there are multiple "doubles" in other systems.
The Elemental Double
The Astral Double
The Etheric Double
The Electric Double (death double)
The rainbow Double
etc etc.
These doubles can all be tapped into and your conciousness can be sent into them like the Sorcerer's Double. The only issue is that these other doubles can only be used for like 15 to 45 minutes before you're forced back back into your physical body.
The castaneda Double would be considered the astral or dream double to these people. I know that's now how it works in the world of sorcery, but linguistically you're not making sense to these people. They'll understand it as the Astral or Electric double.
they also have their own version of the tonal and nagual or the split from left and right energetic sides plus a spit from top to bottom that happens from the heart area.
anways, just thought i would bring that up. These new people are going to be mixing systems.

Carlos was quite specific about it in private classes.
Some people (1 in 200 perhaps) have a double that "just comes around" from time to time.
He pointed to his right side and explained that you'll see it "standing right there".
And that the value of such people is that it gives a sorcerer "access".
For teaching I presume.
Cholita is one of those.
But I ran into another person who had a double that came around once in a while.
It doesn't really help you teach them anything.
That requires them to actually be motivated to learn.
And no one will remember if you interact with their double that "just came around".
Nor will their double think of it as something that stands out. It isn't precisely perceiving the same copy of the world you are. It can become aware of you if you pursue it, but you probably don't look much different than the dozens of dream phantoms it must run into, every single day.
