I've been practicing Darkroom consistently for about a month now, around 1h sessions during the night. I wake up at 3am or 4am and perform my routine with totally dark room, no mask.
Two days ago I practiced a shorter session because I was feeling really sleepy and tired, and after 30m of tensegrity, (where I surprisingly were more focused than ever on the movements and on inner silence) I was finishing the series for the Center for Decisions and saw a big bright light on my right side, and kept performing the movements.
I thought for a second it could be my phone, because that's the side of the nightstand, but light would also illuminate the room. This was a big bright white light, just standing there as a glow and it was not illuminating the bed or walls, I really felt like a presence was there and got shivers all over my body, kept performing the passes but in a few seconds it was gone.
I guess that the intensity of performing the movements the most silently as possible is more effective than practicing half assed for a longer time, as Dan uses to say that just 2min of total silence already makes energy or puffs visible.
This may not seem much, but just a small sample of darkroom is enough to get me hooked and try my best to increase the results more, since I was being lazy and undisciplined for a long time on my day to day life.
Just wanted to share and although it may not seem much, just wanted to show and let known to Intent and to the community, since you guys gave me so much already.

I'm certain you can do it! And yes, doing the movements as well as possible while maintaining as much silence as you can is good.
When I’m dead tired and sleepy my AP shifts very easily too - it could have been a combination of exhaustion and tensegrity.
That's great. I don’t know how many people I’ve read complaining that they can’t practice Brujería because of “overwork and exhaustion,” when they could have interpreted the phrase like this: “Work like a dog! [in the tonal] And then work even more! [in the nagual].” But they don’t care that the internal dialogue is easier to break when it’s weak; they definitely prefer to fall asleep and keep complaining the next day...
Another "phrase" for clever folks: "I use my cellphone less since I have another in second attention..."
Once you reach Silent Knowledge and can stay there during Tensegrity, it's common for various parts of the room to light up like that.
You get over the urge to "see what it is" after a dozen or so times of finding out there's nothing there.
I'm not sure you could classify that as the "whitish light on surfaces" Carlos told us to look for.
That stuff is very "active" and can even give you the ability to see in what seems to be perfect darkness.
The "stuff to the side" is a good indication of the assemblage point having been moved, but to use the light itself to move your assemblage point directly, you have to be able to gaze at it as long as you can, while further reducing your internal dialogue, using the changes in the sight as feedback.
We learn the fastest if we have immediate feedback.
Which is AMAZINGLY COOL once you can sustain Silent Knowledge, and you get the instant feedback of "videos in the air".
Once you can see the room in perfect darkness, somewhat, you can experiment on what sound does to the sight of it.
Although, watch out for a cholita lurking outside you8r dark room. Witches might not like the wrong spooky noises.
You can get away with Hindu or Buddhist sounding stuff, like the low sounds they make while chanting in a group setting.
A egocentric certain death trap in their case.
But sound does alter which emanations are glowing, once your assemblage point has moved enough to directly perceive the emanations.
Super cool, thanks for sharing!
I've had what I think is a similar experience in darkroom - suddenly seeing light that doesn't illuminate, just brightness, and I'm wondering what it's from, then it's gone quickly. Thanks for sharing - it is encouraging to practice.
