Oops... Title should be "Fluffy Energy body".
They still don't allow editing those!
But believe it or not, this is no big deal...
I feel guilty for saying that, but in fact some day, if you work hard, you'll be mostly ignoring sights like this too.
But that's a mistake. If you honestly share with others, and don't make stuff up, then "the spirit" gives you more of it.
Typically however you'll be ignoring it in favor of some other aspect of our magic you're currently obsessed with. In my case, I was trying to summon specific Silent Knowledge, about a specific topic.
So seeing this, was just a curiosity. It got me wondering if deliberately trying to "see" had produced it.
After playing with this a while, I named it the "Fluffy Energy Body". It ought to be a bit more "feathery", but this isn't too far from what I was looking at last night. Certainly, this isn't more vivid.
It seems that those purple puffs become blue, once they willingly cling to the body.
You do this with your eyes open! Fully awake, completely sober. So never pretend your magic, or you'll never see real results.
And the coolest thing of all is, you can "switch" entirely to that blue ball and break the laws of physics. Silvio Manuel taught us how.
But you won't get to do that nearly as often as you'd like. That's for sure.
So, knowing what's possible, you'll find yourself a bit disappointed despite looking at an absolute MIRACLE right in front of you.
Keep in mind that the "blue ball of energy" is what the new seers "recommend". And it can be dented by wiggling your fingers.
But the dentable form is more smooth than this. This is REALLY out of control, compared to what the new seers seek.
Though surely a lot better than what the old seers did with their energy body. Don Juan never told us, but I suspect it was a WereJaguar of some type.
Hopefully not the tiny little one... That could be awkward.

What do you mean when you say you can “break the laws of physics”?
Exactly what I said!
There's pretty much no limit to what you can learn to do.
Notice "learn".
And it's an obsession with human attention to pursue things like that deliberately.
One that pretty much guarantees you aren't the type of person who will ever get there.
But, if you aren't seeking attention from other people, you get "offers" of magic so incredible, no one will believe you.
All along the path.
You just can't repeat any of it. You get something new each week if you work hard.
But you don't get to obsess over flying like Superman.
Which I've done.
In my physical body.
Or maybe, it was more like this movie. I was chasing Cholita, the witch. Minus the swords of course.
My guess is he means you can do all the possible acts to the double, as described in the books. Travel long distances, being in 2 places at the same time, cross walls, time travel, etc.
The double is made of energy, and everything in the universe is also energy and we are currently in the double's dream, but I think You have to be in your double to perceive that, or having your AP in a position of heightened awareness.
Interesting. I saw it for a few seconds, but I didn’t know how to use it. It happened while I was lying down, “moving” a purple puff with my gaze to make it enter my torso. I was looking for another one when something forced me to look down, toward my torso, and then I saw the blue. It was the first time, so I messed it up: “The blue… how do you use it?”
The other time I was talking with someone about how maybe it would be better to think of “felidae people” instead of “jaguar men, jaguar women”. I wouldn’t mind being one of the little ones—Neofelis or something; the important thing is to go out and have fun!
You aren't likely to think of going outside after shapeshifting.
At least, not if you're following the new seers.
Shapeshifting is a deep red zone activity, which pretty much goes away (along with the Allies) once you move the assemblage point to the other side of the body.
You'll blow through the red zone in just a couple of months if you work daily.
So going outside shapeshifted will likely be an accident.
Of course, you could decide to go old seer and just stay in the red zone, to gain magical abilities you can show off to other people.
Otherwise, what's the point?
Just like don Juan said about leaping over the Eucalyptus trees.
Why? To scare the villagers?
That's also shapeshifting.
In the orange zone, you just walk to where you want to go, ignoring the distance between the here, and the there.
And in silent awareness, the purple zone, you "zip" to where you want to go.
Which includes time travel possibilities.
So there's zero urge to shapeshift.
Pity...
Maybe I can use Cholita as an excuse to shapeshift.
I’ve seen “things” jumping in the eucalyptus trees. I’m not like the locals who want to shoot at everything that moves, so I thought: “Hey, it would be great to jump up there!”
But… learn Brujería just for lycanthropy and necromancy? No!
Still, it’s worth mentioning that if you seek to experience the intent of the sorcerers of Ancient Mexico, you step right into that territory…
And I’m not saying you should stay there like Julián—that would be stupid… Especially now that we have a good map of the J-Curve.
However, you’ve jumped around there following Cholita and even lifted a car—who knows if you transformed into something… Does that make you an ancient sorcerer?
If a witch full of energy tells me “cats,” I’ll give her whatever explanations I can about felines and shapeshifting.
And if she says “stay with me forever in the red zone,” the only thing that could save me would be to be in the purple zone and disappear from there instantly.
You’re right—getting obsessed with shapeshifting isn’t necessary.
But it seems like a good option for defeat scenarios: “Free and safe shapeshifting, and then go live underground,” sounds better than paying for a lifetime of workshops with Cleargreen, Tony, Howard, or the Monroe Institute and then dying.
Maybe one day the laziest practitioners will be the “felines of the red zone”?
Thanks so much for the warnings and for talking about what lies ahead!
S.K. stuff: That really fires me up…
Right when you posted this comment, I was reading about a jaguar chasing don Juan and Carlos through the desert chaparral in The Power of Silence. Just a coincidence or intent? 😆
I think it’s “intent,” in the case of Carlos and Don Juan… For the rest of us, we just love felines!
I have to check out thise Silvio Manuel techniques.
Eagle's Gift I believe.
Silvio puts Carlos and La Gorda through a series of techniques (perhaps referred to as not-doings), after Zuleica saturates them with the second attention, and how to use the tentacle body.
Silvio has them sitting back to back at night, listening to sounds, and at the end of it, he shows Carlos how to glance down at that second attention assemblage point Zuleica had him wiggling his fingers on, to instantly switch to the energy body.
Which is how you get to break the laws of physics!
The "tonal" shrinks, thus the physical laws regarding matter are suspended, and you find yourself with the kind of power only your dreamer has, in dreams.
Except, with your full rationality intact.
(mostly that is)
The cool thing is, you don't really notice the transition. You simply walk in your physical body, off into some impossible activity.
Such as lifting a car with one hand!
The motivation you have is key to this.
Good motivations: Furthering your knowledge of sorcery or helping someone else who is on that path.
Bad motivations: "Proving" sorcery to others.
There's no way to learn sorcery, if you plan to demonstrate it to "science" so you can get a Nobel Prize.
Or just to become famous.
That drives the internal dialogue and dirties your link to intent.
Thus, the lineages used "The worthy opponent" as a technique for teaching apprentices.
Combine an apprentice with a powerful with threatening his safety, and you get the perfect motivation for learning sorcery.
Not to mention, amazing demonstrations of power from the witch.
They benefit from it too.
I'll read up on that. Thanks.
Is there anything specific about this shade of blue? I'm starting to see it more and more like a blotch when my eyes are closed or there's a big blob of it just outside of my direct focus of vision sometimes.
Daydreaming and clairvoyance are the same thing. But if all the psychic sees are dreams, he is living in unreality. A warrior's goal is not witchcraft but total freedom. What is witchcraft? Dominate others? "Scare Indians"? According to DJ, what you do with knowledge is more important than the knowledge itself. So why so many disqualifications between belief systems? Reality is union, not dualities.
More respect for meditation and Eastern mysticism would open the mind of the nagualist. It may be difficult to understand, but "trying" is not setting a goal. We all already live in the third attention. Paying so much attention to the tonal prevents us from remembering it. And the recap and the passes don't help. You live in total freedom, dear Dan, and you can choose love and joy in every moment of the here and now. Nothing stops you. Don't choose hate or rejection. The restlessness. That's not impeccable.
Are you aware that we have 3 private students of Carlos in here?
I'm one of them.
I listened to his lectures for years.
You're way off track in your thinking. Your chances of success right now, are so close to 0 it's not worth mentioning.
Try reading his final 5 books? Those were his "how to" books.
One unpublished. That's the most important. He tells us what to do after he's gone.
That's what we're doing in here!
And he constantly made fun of Eastern systems.
And Catholics too.
Stop the pretending please?
Or at least, don't do that in here.
The mods toss 3 people a week out of here. Had to, for the last 6 years.
Try the Cleargreen discussion group, or the discord group where our witches keep an eye on things.
However, if you're a woman, never mind what I say.
Carry on.
Carlos paired me off with one of the other of his 3 remaining private students.
She's very schizophrenic (which you seem to, at least a little).
She kicks my butt big time for doing real magic.
And can lift me into the air with one finger when she gets angry.
