Got home late last night and didn’t have time to do proper Darkroom practice. I used my black out goggles to practice inner silence, while I waited for sleep to take me.
I noticed/found something, it’s wow’d me (a bit). I’ve been missing a feature of the Second Attention. When you gaze at the darkness from inner silence, behind the puffs there’s volume and depth; like it’s 4D. Last night, I seen and felt it, on a level that I don’t have words for, or previous life experience to use to describe. Before last night, it’s like, I’ve been viewing puffs on a flat screen 2D, and then I saw behind the puffs was depth/volume: 4D.
I’m NOT trying to present this as a big revelation for others practitioners, but for beginners, maybe a senior can add or take away from what I’m saying, and/or explain it better?
Not sure at what point I fell asleep, but I’m certain I fell asleep eyes wide open, knew I was “dreaming” and found my hands, over and over, till I woke up and was wide awake cause….Holy fuck! I finally found my hands and finally had real awareness that I was cognitively controlling, while dreaming, and not getting distracted and pulled off into regular dreaming.
*Hopefully I’m making sense and not spewing unintelligible mumbo jumbo into the sub.

It is entirely possible to hold puffs. For instance, quite a few times now, I have seen a black puff (maybe like your shadow blobs), and I started putting it on me, and my arms were covered in black smoke, and it could pool together in my hands, where I could watch a fun video in black smoke pooling in my hands, with my eyes open, and no darkroom mask on.
Yo he tenido ya experiencias semejantes a las que comentas en varias ocasiones, y no sé si es algo bueno o malo… inclusive en una de las ocasiones haciendo la silla de silencio, o más bien diría intentando realizar este ejercicio tras hacer Tensegridad, tenía una bocanada morada justo en el pecho bajo la barbilla y casi de un hombro a otro de largo, pues al intentar interactuar con ella y al cabo de unos pocos minutos de morada pasó a negro completamente, al tratar de recogerlo o moverlo con la mano derecha ésta quedó impregnada de esto humo negro pero solo sentía calor, no sensación de viscosidad, ni nada esponjoso… por lo tanto, solo fue sensación de calor mayormente y la negrura en mi mano y pecho. Creo que se debe a que mi conexión con la intención aún es muy turbia y sucia, y por otro lado será otra simple sensación de la zona verde que no merece ni comentar.
Don't worry about if it changes color. All sorts of different colors are possible, including black. Try interacting with it, and also try sticking it to your pouches.

Respecto a los colores lo tengo claro pero solo me preocupaba de cierta forma el negro azabache que resalta por encima de la oscuridad que pueda lograr en el cuarto oscuro, siendo lo más usual morado y amarillo, azul y una sola vez por poco casi se vuelve todo rojo oscuro pero muy turbio, muy opaco y es probable que haya sido tal vez mi imaginación pero con el color negro es diferente, en ciertas ocasiones comienza como ráfagas de viento visible ante mis ojos y va creciendo hasta formar una bocanada; en otras ocasiones es una bocanada que se expande hasta la totalidad de mi vista, es decir cubre completamente mi visión… esto al principio me asustaba porque provocaba que entrara en contradicción conmigo mismo debido a que tenía entendido que al descender el punto de inflexión verticalmente se lograba mejor visualización en la oscuridad y no lo que estaba contemplando, por lo que supongo que si hay un desplazamiento y no se trate de una fantasía muy realista, entiendo que sería un desplazamiento muy leve pero horizontal, supongo yo Igualmente gracias por la aclaración.
I haven’t been able to interact with puffs (yet). I’ve been using my mask a lot b/c it seems to lessen the shadow blob distraction, or filter them? But it could also be filtering other stuff?
I appreciate that info, you see them and interact with them. So thanks for sharing that. They still tend to rattle me and break my concentration.
So many days and day of practice, and moving parts, when you get something new or a little farther a long, it’s motivating.
If you see stuff at night, or during the day like puffs, try to interact with them, try and bring the pouches to you. Even with your mask on, start practicing non-directionally. Eventually you will see puffs floating around the room that you can scoop.

I think you might be unintentionally hitting on something with me. I’m letting the darkroom or the mask confine me and frame my perception, and I’m too passive observant, I’m holding silence doing tensegrity, holding silence, gazing at dark, passively. I’m waiting passively to see what floats by. Last night I was a different mindset…..
I will try your recommendation and try to be less “passive” cause I really don’t know how to explain it with words.

I've felt that our etheric doubles are 5D+ / higher dimensional in nature (our normal reality is 4D). Goes not for just our doubles but everything in the 2nd attention.
There's certainly some profound insights you can gain by trying to formulaize/artificulate the teachings of Castaneda. But first things first - got to build up the perception and 2nd attention firsthand to avoid pretending and building nonsense.

Oh no, I'm not saying you are. I was saying that with regard to going deep into labeling things/formalizing.
I tried to avoid labelling it, but to post about it, I have to give it words, words that articulate the experience.
I said it was 4D, but your “5D+” makes more sense.
You get what I’m saying? I don’t know how long you’ve been practicing, I’m a year in, for me to see that puffs aren’t flat against a wall, but behind them is the 5D+, is advancement for me.
Gazing eyes open and being in a dream happens to me often. Look at Dan’s recent post reverse puffery, see if you can relate to any of what’s said there. I found, so far, that even if I go into a dream from gazing it’s not always a guarantee you’ll be lucid, still have to fight for it. Also, Techno posted about this recently.
Regarding puff depth/volume, look at Shimmeringmind’s recent post. There’s a good discussion there about gazing depth.
Feels like I’ve been perceptually confined and limited by the room or mask. My inner silence wasn’t acknowledging that outside is so much more. I was just seeing whatever drifted by…
Try stellar hatch, try leaving your practice area(walking down the hall or similar) with your mask still on.
I know stellar hatch, but it’s been a difficult one to commit to muscle memory. I’m not silent enough to move anymore than 3 steps with mask on. Three steps is all I take when I do Being From Sky Pass.
Taisha said it was “2D,” and that “3D” is an assumption we learn as children. You wrote “4D” and someone replied “5D+.” Should I now write “6D-GLS” to feel part of the progress?
That reminds me of the DALL-E AI from a few years ago, which in Bing’s free version had trouble rendering “3D images,” so several people discovered that the AI produced a better “3D effect” when you asked for a “4D” or “5D effect.” Many starving illustrators ended up making ridiculous prompts, asking for “128K resolution” and an “8D effect.”:

I was pretty clearly grasping at description, I also said, depth and volume and I’ve been hit twice with gatekeepers now, all for trying to articulate something I’d been missing.

"Gatekeepers"? This is the internet! This community has no employees, we all have jobs outside and actually lose money by writing here.
And humanity is bigger than a bunch of male primates beating their chests. Some people enter the second attention by taking an herbal bath, others by gazing silently at clouds or leaves. Others get there with the Silence + Tensegrity combo in a dark room.
And when a puff appears, there are many things you can do with it—this Subreddit is about that; it’s public and built on the altruistic work of practitioners. It’s your choice what to do with your words and your personal “tiny bit of progress.” Many people here have worked really hard and the entire community is not going to pay homage to someone just because he says “4D.”

You might have gotten a glimpse of "The Nagual" directly.
It's really just the second attention, but because "Nagual" had multiple uses in the lineages, it's very confusing.
"Nagual" isn't as bad ass as the bad players like to portray it.
Children see the Nagual all the time until we punish and ridicule them for it.
So actually, in normal society the Nagual is shameful and a sign there's something wrong with you.
Meanwhile, it's essentially just the second attention becoming a real place to your perception, and you've sensing that there's a control for figuring out where in its vastness, you're gazing.
It's the "depth" control on the 3D worlds of magic.
Be careful about skipping practice because you can get magic to happen without it.
Do it the next day, at break time where no one can see.
So that your "self" knows, you never get out of doing your daily tensegrity.
If you don't do it during darkroom, you have to do it during the day.
In fact, I have 3 forms left to do right now!
I stopped early because Lily (Mad Prophet's Ren Ally) was floating around on fire.
She likes to materialize as a woman burning with purple flames.
It's pretty hard to just keep going without stopping to take advantage.
It was a “whoa and wow” moment, for me. How have I been missing this feature for so long? It’s reassuring to read your description is consistent with what I was seeing and trying to describe. “Vast” is a good way to describe it.
Was my intent or mindset different without having done tensegrity?
I try to get some inner silence practice in everyday even if it’s just 20 minutes cause I’m afraid to lose what I have gained. It’s rare for me to skip tensegrity, it’s just how my day went.
I’m not sure I see the IOBs? I get the sense the mask is filtering or blocking what I’d fully see in darkroom. It definitely helps with the shadow blobs .

It's more a matter of energy and luck.
The tensegrity in general, ALWAYS helps.
But it does use up available practice time, so you need to split it down the middle, if you want to engage in "gazing" into the Nagual.
Do that afterwards, until when you start to practice and turn off the lights, you can see your energy body instantly.
then you can do the gazing before the tensegrity if you like.
But never let yourself get away with skipping the tensegrity.
If you don't do it all tonight, then you have to do it tomorrow morning or mid day.
Don't worry about the IOBs.
There's for sure one in your dreams as a "scout".
It's not like anyone is 100% free of inorganic beings.

Your starting progress is nice. The puffs having depth and the sense of dimension is normal and expected. They can also show you realistic 3D structures or iobs can take realistic 3D form on them. You are just into the exploration fase. Going into dreams is not uncommon, many of us do. Treat the dreams with the directions for sleeping dreaming we have. Let the dreams come naturally from Darkroom,don't focus exclusively into them . Hope you have nice practice.

I was looking at the puffs like they’re on a flat panel tv, until I noticed immensity and depth behind them. It’s hard to put experiences and observations into words. It’s even harder to know; you’re not fooling yourself. When other practitioners get what you’re trying formulate it’s reassuring and motivating. Thank you.
