If you analyze how to make an AI that's nearly sentient, through the use of many smaller AIs which can run in a millisecond each, allowing you to run 10 "specialist" AIs in succession without the user realizing that took place, instead of running one huge "ChatGPT" that takes many seconds to run, eventually you uncover why the "self" exists.

It's just obsessions and phobias, caused by hazing during your childhood.

And if you want a sentient toy, it has to have the same obsessions and phobias.

Or at least, large portions of "the self" consist of that garbage.

You won't uncover the parts of it which can only be "seen", through that kind of rational analysis.

The "self-obsessions" which can't be reasoned out, are perceptual in nature and aren't obvious when manipulating words.

Such as, why combine one corner you see in front of you, with the things in the "vicinity", instead of combining it with something too far away to be "part of that"?

Once you can see, those recombinations of visual elements, lead to another reality that looks just as real as this one!

That's the whole thing of when the tonal gets control, and you aren't just gazing at the Nagual. Such as when a "chair became a chair", in one of the early books.

You get to UNDO that with sorcery!

That's partly why "the right way of walking" advises you to cross your eyes slightly. So that you begin to recombine visual elements in "the wrong way".

Leaf gazing does the same thing. Or gazing at the shadows between fern fronds.

Gazing is actually the fastest path to seeing!

It's just that, no one has ever kept it up... So I gave up on recommending gazing to people.

Don't worry... you'll see all this once you can gaze into the Nagual continuously!

Which, and this part is super fun, you can do during Tensegrity.

For weeks I've been fighting the urge to just sit up on the bed and gaze at the Nagual, instead of doing my tensegrity.

I never fail to do the tensegrity, but if I gaze too long because I'm learning WONDERS, then I have to do the Tensegrity in daylight, at work, as soon as I get there. Or perhaps at sunrise, since I go to work so early.

But last night I realized, I can just do my "Nagual Ether" gazing during the tensegrity, and it's just as "profitable".

Beginners: Don't confuse this battle to get up, with your own laziness and pretending where you just skip all the instructions we have for darkroom, and stare at the dark. And then post about it, without warning us you weren't actually practicing "darkroom" at all.

Come on... Do you really think we won't instantly realize that?

You only think you can get away with it, because everywhere else, in every other "magical" subreddit, you can! Since their magic doesn't actually work, enthusiasm is considered a good substitute.

Trust me, it's not the same thing at all!

Here's a conversation I had with ChatGPT about it making a mistake that wasted a lot of my time, and then ignoring that it had made a mistake, and instead coming up with another procedure for me to try.

I'm trying to fix a 3D object in the drawing program blender, so that I can cast it with molten Electrum mined in Mexico.

ChatGPT gave me bad instructions, and after I wasted the time to try them and realized that wouldn't work, it didn't admit the mistake. Instead it gave me more procedures, as if I simply had been too stupid and too human, to carry out the first set of instructions.

Humans don't do that, because socially we keep "score" on who made a mistake. If you don't fess up to your mistakes, people label you as something you don't want to be known as.

In China, keeping "score" is a HUGE obsession, which is part of why Carlos said, referring to Howard Lee, "He's really screwed up, like all Chinese men."

It's that obsession with "saving face".

But I want my AI teddy bear to be more human like, perhaps just because it would be fun to beat the gigantic AIs in terms of realness.

And if it makes a mistake, it needs to feel bad about it for a while.

Maybe 7.2 seconds... And if it's reminded of it's mistake, it'll increase the "shame period" value to 15 seconds.

That's the cool thing about having a "community of experts" to control overall AI behavior.

Well...

That's a tough one.

Carlos "stopped the world" at least twice in the books.

And I've done that too.

In his case, it was an "orgasmic" experience where he was suspended in the air while everything around him went away.

I believe, he was seeing yellow spots before it happened.

The first time, it was a talking coyote who helped him do that.

In my case, it was the same talking coyote, who he'd given out to his private classes, except in moth form.

At least, I presume it was the same spirit.

In here she's known as "Fairy".

I was sitting up gazing into darkness, trying to perfect my silence, and a giant moth swooped around me in a loop.

Could have been a real moth for all I know. Her type of moth can even become bigger than your hand.

The swooping helped me get more silent, until the moth ran directly into my left shoulder, and pushed me forward.

I fell forward, into a sea of lines on fire. Filaments. Some were collected into "bundles", and if I gazed into the bundles, I was sucked into another world.

If I turned my head back, I was back with the "emanations".

I could go in and out of "other worlds" using that method. Instantly...

All this fully awake!

So when you "stop the world" it actually stops, and you end up elsewhere. In a new "world".

HOWEVER, if you read all of the books carefully, La Gorda, the witch, claims that during darkroom, as soon as you see a puff you have also "stopped the world".

Or if you perceive an inorganic being.

She's equating it with any sight of "the second attention".

Any magic you perceive, which is due to a reality shift, is stopping the normal world.

Very interesting! Is there a way to combine small suggestions like what you said, try to "combine" elements of this world in a way that is not ordinary to our reality with silence to help move the assemblage point? For example what if I deliberately look for odd looking things in nature that combine and treat that as a real sight while trying to shut off the internal dialogue? Or it has to be the other way around? Not sure if it makes sense what I just asked :D

Yes, but you still have to learn to remove your internal dialogue, or doing things to make the assemblage point more flexible (which is what you're suggesting), won't allow it to move any further than simple meditation or prayer.

We have a problem. Due to being surrounded by evil con artists and their fake magical systems, which have saturated us with the "spirit of pretending".

We not only have to move our assemblage point, on our own without some silly trick such as meditation.

But ALSO, we have to move it MUCH MUCH further, or we won't realize that what we're doing, is superior to everything else.

That it's REAL.

As an example of what you're talking about, Carlos advised Amy to talk to her broom, while she was working as a hotel maid.

Carlos made her get a job, the same way he made Cholita get one or she couldn't attend private classes.

Absolutely, I did not mean to replace the constant fight to quiet the mind, just trying to map out all kind of possibilities because sometimes when I practice I tend to go stiff, thinking I am doing something that I am not supposed too, which in turn leads to more stupid chatter in my head. I like to talk to birds.

But at first, I did it thinking it was like what Carlos told Amy to do. Talk to her cleaning supplies.

What I discovered instead was, sparrows and hummingbirds notice you're friendly, and come to greet you and do tricks for you.

It could just be because some humans feed them, but I don't think so.

I believe they're as curious about us, as we are about them.

And both make sounds so quiet, that most humans have never noticed them.

That is in fact, their normal "talking voice".

100% with the birds. I really enjoy how they start to show their personalities over time. Totally makes sense that they would after they learn you're not going to lunge at them, etc. I'm not clear on how I can use this hobby to further my practice of sorcery though.

If you remove your internal dialogue almost completely, while walking around during the day, you get super hearing, and super smell.

And you'll detect a lot more bird noises.

They make some really subtle sounds which I suppose humans have learned to ignore.

Just as they ignore all the insect sounds at night, other than the obvious ones like crickets.

I think it’s great that the little bear only experiences a brief "shame period" and doesn’t get stuck in it forever, because if he had a persistent “self-module,” I suppose he’d also need a “self-abandonment module” to cleanse himself of self-pity and avoid “being traumatized” or “going crazy.” There could be bully children, armed with a strong internal dialogue implanted by their parents and kindergarten teacher, scolding the little bear at the slightest provocation…

The bear's biggest enemy is going to be brothers.

Setting it on fire.

I'll probably add a fire alarm noise. Give it a "superpower" to screech so loudly, it hurts your ears.

I also plan to hire an audio engineer to give it super hearing, but that will take someone with a PhD.

No one's ever figured that out for a Teddy bear which has limitations on what you can use.

Wouldn't it be cool if a kid could sit on a bench in a par, point the teddy bear to distant people, and the teddy bear would say what they're saying?

In their own voices.

Not difficult at all, with modern AIs.

None of which I wrote. I just execute them using hardware, and get them for free on GitHub.

Two day sago I figured out how to make the teddy bear, SMARTER THAN CHATGPT.

For real.

It'll kick that AIs butt for total knowledge of everything.

Only adds $5 cost to the bear.

I didn't like the idea of Teddy not being very smart.

But I'll have to apply for a patent on that one, before I explain how obvious it is to make it do that.

Hopefully Mad Prophet can help me with it eventually.

She's getting a PhD on "AI neural plasticity", or something like that.

ChatGPT doesn’t seem very "smart" to me — it’s like the “man of knowledge” of AIs... And even with all those “energy sources,” it still translates “Brujería Olmeca” as “Olmec Witchcraft.”

I’m glad the little bear is going to have “Super Hearing” and “Super Intelligence” — that way he’ll be able to easily detect and counter all the routines, lies, and fallacies of adults… It looks like he’s turning into a “perceptual node” after all.

A PhD in "IA neural plasticity" sounds really advanced… I’m interested in audio, but I don’t have a PhD in audio or in anything else — unless some local university gave me an honoris causa doctorate and I don’t remember…
