While back I split my daily practice into two sessions per day. 45-60min each. I think it’s helped my progression.
I started to notice as I practiced and extended my inner silence my breathing would change as I pushed and held silence for longer. Hard to describe, almost like I’ve forgotten how to breathe? Or my breathing wants to speed up in very short breaths?
Recently I’ve started focusing on my breathing, which seems to have helped the quality and quantity of my inner silence.
Today’s sessions, I was able to hold the first scene I encountered and push myself/move forward into the tunnel (second pic). All while using a unique breathing rhythm I found randomly works for me.

In the Magical Passes book, CC talks about entering something resembling a black pit. I'd done those rapid fire breathing methods where you breath in and out in ultra short breaths and it's gotten me into that black pit a few times. But my heart was always sore after it, so I'm not a fan of breathing techniques.
There's definitely something in the breath change, cos I have noticed that during tensegrity. I think there's a few posts here describing it, i was looking through the wiki and I think I read it somewhere.

For sure, there’s lot of similarities as we progress. I think what I see in the Nagual is my tonal interpreting. Once inner silence has purged that influence, it will all look a lot of different?

I'm trying to collect ALL known and verified Olmec art.
There's "proposed" Olmec art out there, which on the surface looks real, but if you've been studying in this subreddit for long, you'll realize it was more likely "bad player art" made a short while after the Olmecs were already driven out by falling volcano ash in their territory.
I really like tensegrity, even the corny parts. I especially like long forms. I see the not-doings in the passes. Serious effort changes you. I’m digging it, everyday.
You prob wouldn’t know, but I collect knives, ever since I was knee high to a grass hopper. Collecting Olmec knives in the second attention: that would be sorcery!
Social media is expansion of the river of shit, and breeds bad players and at times turns the best of us. I constantly fight the urge to make snippy/sarcastic comments when ppl come in the sub asking about their dreams or shadows crawling up their no-no holes….
The Tensegrity looks less and less corny the further you go.

I suspect one main aspect of it, besides preserving those death defier "gifts", is as a container for intent.
I'm long past any ability on my part to animate what Tensegrity does. It would take a Pixar team weeks to get a single form right.
Oddly, when it works that well, you don't care anymore...
Maybe it's like porn. People are saying, online porn has ruined everyone's sex life.
Likewise, visible magic you see over and over, tends to make you get less excited about it. Even though, no other system does anything remotely that magical, ever.
Imagine if "Jesus" was written to do things like these pictures. He might not be so self-pity dominated. Like all religions of course. Always self-pity is their driving force.
Gonna be sick AF! When I can do the tensegrity moves and see the energy affects in front of me. Right now I sometimes see the sparkles or puffs. But I am getting them more as I go on.

I was interviewing spirits that floated by, to see if any could tell me where Julian is hanging out, in the inorganic beings' realm.
So did anyone give you any tip or hints where Nagual Julian was?
Not yet, but just now Minx manifested in the waking world twice in the last hour, very clearly.
I'm suspecting that the one to find Julian, is Minx.
Not Fairy.
I can't recall if don Juan said anything about his "benefactor" preferring the Devil's Weed ally, but that would explain it.
Minx hasn't shown up in the waking world for at least 2 years.
And in fact, if Julian is in the IOB realm, he's likely still friends with his Allies.
I loosely recall DJM mentioning his benefactor giving him power plants in the early books, but wasn’t detailed info.
IOBs in this reality. Do you or others catch passing glances of them? Maybe when concentrating on a task. Can they show up on screens or monitors? I remeber the water cooler incident with CC and then Jadey.
We don’t necessarily have to beckon IOBs; they’re attracted to inner silence?

Just now a squirrel sized creature jumped out from behind a desk at work as I was leaving, but so fast that I couldn't see what it was. I spoke to it and said it was welcome anytime, and that sort of thing didn't frighten me anymore, but I didn't appreciate it hiding like that.
And something banged on the wall behind it, at precisely that moment!
It's the old "agreements from the world around you" man of knowledge delusion.
Carlos demonstrated it in class on 3 separate occasions, and it became clear that those agreements from "the world" are actually just an Ally's ability to push with a certain amount of force, on physical objects.
Such as water in a water cooler or tea pot, to make it burp.
Combined with their super intelligence, they can figure out how to make the wall sound like someone banged on it. Likely the wall wasn't stable anymore due to the morning sun shining on it and warming it up fairly quickly.
After that, as I was driving to the grocery store, a squirrel ran out in front of my car so that I had to slow down or risk running it over.
A weird looking one.
Minx has done that 4 times now.
How often do you come across a suicidal squirrel???
I never did before Minx came along.
Back when Cholita would hang out with me on errands, Minx would do high wire acts above us on the telephone lines, and Cholita always refused to even look up to see what was going on.
Impossible things, like walking easily across a single wire. Back and forth even.
I don't think inner silence summons them. It's the assemblage point being shifted down the back at least 4 inches to make them visible, and then just thinking about them in that state.
It's demonstrated in the books several times.
Don Juan even demonstrates it once.
At this point, I'm thinking if I tell Minx or Fairy we're looking for Julian, Julian himself will come find me.
So I don't actually have to go looking for him in the IOB realm.

Last week I was constantly doing a double take on my computer monitors, doorways, hallways, etc. I was seeing humanoid like shapes and what I could describe was “monster” ish. Not physically friendly looking. Makes me think this is what schizophrenia is partially like.

I think that this year Minx has been “looking for something” in Mexico…
As I reported in the Discord chat, on November 18 I saw “Minx” in the D.R. She had a floral arrangement on her head that kept evolving, and from it grew what looked like the typical flora of central Mexico…
She looked so Mesoamerican that I almost forgot she was a strange, long squirrel floating off to the right, making weird little rodent-tooth faces before disappearing.
Minx "looking for something in Mexico" could simply be Cholita's obsession. She's been down there 3 times in the last few months, "studying".
And I'm expecting her to leave again any week now.
On the other hand, she's having a harder time breathing up there in Mexico City. It's fairly elevated.
Minx and Cholita still hang out constantly, and Cholita stopped hiding that she's talking to him all the time.
Of course, anyone else would see it as being like a homeless woman on the streets, talking to someone who isn't there.
In my case, I get to visually see Minx with her, if I catch her talking to him while I'm in SK across the wall.
Not that it's easy to be sure, since Minx takes whatever appearance works best for the observer.
And we don't even know if an Ally is really a single entity, or just a projection from the entire group of Allies in their world.

However, I've concluded that he can't leave because he volunteered to go there. Unlike the death defier who was sent there by his old seer teacher, against his will.
And so we'll have to just use Julian as a resource, in the "world of the Brujos".

If Julian was his name I might, just to be more specific. But it's not.
And I consider using "Nagual" to be a sign of disrespect, since in our community there's so many bad players pretending to be "Naguals".
So in private classes the women used to be horrified that I called Carlos by his actual name, whereas Taisha and Florinda taught the women to call him "the Nagual".
Including Cholita.
I just found that disrespectful, from a fantasy point of view. To put him on the same level as evil bad players who had been available to meet, far longer than Carlos himself.
Calling him "nagual" wouldn't honor him, more than actually working hard to learn.
He noticed that more.
And Carlos never seemed to mind me calling him by his actual name.

Except in this case, his name is Julian.
At the very least if you're going to seek any interaction with him, it would be best to append it for yourself.
I would never call someone who isn't the nagual the nagual, but proper titles should be affixed.
If Carlos didn't mind it, that's fine, but plainly it is the nagual Julian in this case.

Carlos said several times the names were not correct, and Taisha and Florinda's books used different ones.
Too bad Marcus is still on his own.
He knew Carlos back before he came out trying to teach in the 80s.
He might have heard other names.
And in fact, there's people who have stories about Carlos trying to get them to go meet don Juan.

One thing I realized lately, that's surely inevitable for sorcerers, is that they possibly don't talk to new people at all.
New people are a potential never ending stream of flier attacks.
And you can never get it right when you're trying to help people learn. New people have all sorts of messy expectations and misunderstandings going on. And it's a shame to drive one away that might actually have changed their mind and become serious.
Of course, the new seers just tricked new apprentices, to avoid actually having to take them on directly. Using the Nagual's blow to remove them from their normal context.
But we only have large numbers, and no ability to force anyone at all to be serious.
(nor any desire to do that)
All we can do is try to figure out the best thing to say, even if it's harsh, and no way we won't mess up fairly often, responding to one of their questions.
So how to avoid that entirely?
Don't.
Just read what materializes floating above their head, using Silent Knowledge.

Hey in the early books where “Carlitos and Little Carlitos” are used it’s not a negative thing, and I wasn’t using it like that. It was more endearing with what was happening and he seemed to like it. Don’t want my use of it here taken the wrong way.

I was wondering if “rescuing” nagual Julian counted as “stealing” from the IOBs. Meaning, if you rescued him, they would then have permission to kidnap you.
But since he volunteered, “rescuing” him becomes impossible? You mentioned how sorcerers have stolen energy from the IOBs before and gotten away with it.
It seems to be an intermediate level technique, to go to into the IOB realm (which is relatively easy to do), and then from THERE, to go elsewhere.
Somewhere you don't have the energy to go on your own.
We gloss over that when reading the books, but I can't count how many times I was casually standing inside the IOB realm, and that was ALL I was seeing anymore.
It's pretty much a "real place" from my point of view.
Apparently, sorcerers could do that so easily that they eventually realized, if you want to travel to a distant reality, it's a lot easier to start from there, than it is sitting up on your bed gazing off into infinity.
But I'm painfully aware that the Allies don't like stealing, because my ally Fancy used to try to trap me with "offers I couldn't refuse".
Stuff just sitting around in her world.
So that I'd pick it up, and put it into my pocket, and she could then trap me there.
Fancy didn't come from the same IOB realm as the Allies of Carlos.
It's totally crazy of course, except that Carlos was nice enough to verify that's what happens, twice.

I get it…..I did Pass, Series, Pass, the last pass was Being from the Sky. I finally got it tor work, and was a piece of a helicopter or something unknown flying, moving forward. When I realized what I was doing, I lost it all, interrupted my session to come and write this.
Second time in 2 days I could move in Nagual.
Also, sadly, I can’t reproduce any of what I just did and getting overly excited and interrupting my session was dumb to do.

I’ve had good results with multiple small sessions during the day and a larger session at night.
I think it’s important to practice deliberately moving our AP throughout the day/evening. Even a quick gaze at the wall in daylight or at the park etc. also accompanied by a larger session (not directed at you) That way it’s easier to dislodge and move on demand. I feel this should be emphasized more.
Breath change is interesting when it happens, surprises me sometimes when it does.
I practice shutting off my internal dialogue multiple throughout my day. It’s difficult to do when you’re focused on a task (at least for me it’s difficult) but it pays off in darkroom.
You're right on the money. I've noticed how easy it is at night after having done an hour or two during the day.
It's been driving me insane for months, lol. I've just been constantly wondering if there's a way to use intent to bypass this degree of effort (I'm not complaining btw lol, I do the hours). Some of the guys over at the astral projection sub says intent is a feeling and that you're feeling for the part of you that's non physical. Like the idea being the better (not sure the right word) one's intent is, the faster they will get into the altered state of consciousness.

Hi. I can confirm your breathing when forcing silence. From my own experience, it happens quite often that when forcing silence strongly, it feels like I almost stop breathing, but I still feel comfortable.
