Castaneda, in later years, also created illustrations of the second attention like we do in here

Someone posted some higher resolution images of the playbill from the Theater of Infinity premier, before the seminars in Barcelona and Berlin, June 8, 1997:

/media/1pkyoen/5tkhkwo08t6g1.jpg

And for the Los Angeles Not-Doing Seminar, August 23-27, 1997:

/media/1pkyoen/7medk9r48t6g1.jpg

Focusing on the illustration for the later presentation:

/media/1pkyoen/uqj9zs2g8t6g1.jpg

I used an A.I. image generator to create an approximate version, in color, set in an actual theater:

/media/1pkyoen/wrrkq54l8t6g1.png

Castaneda also produced illustrations for his Readers of Infinity publication (see the PDF in the link), other than the later and rather crude 1990's photoshop cover image for it:

/media/1pkyoen/xkivotorat6g1.png

As well as illustrations for the three volumes of Tensegrity produced in 1995:

/media/1pkyoen/wch3mugnat6g1.jpg

These were produced with more direct input from Castaneda, as opposed to the mass market covers created for his book covers; which naturally employ professional illustrators who produce work that publishers believe will aid sales.

Whereas his own illustrations are decidedly more abstract, and were less likely to draw in a mainstream audience...something that was less important for these specific publications and videos.

I also put together a simpler entry for our Silence Wiki, using multiple publications and a tiny but of paraphrasing, to help us better "understand" what is meant by intending silence. This is directly from don Juan:

"To venture into the world of sorcerers," he said, "is not like learning to drive a car. To drive a car, you need manuals and instructions. To enter into inner silence, you need to intend it. And the only way you could intend it is by intending it," he declared, "but not with your thoughts. Intend it with your intent, which is the layer beneath your thoughts. Listen carefully: Look for it beneath the thoughts; away from them. Intent is so far away from thoughts that we can't talk about or explain it without sounding idiotic, since it pertains to the realm of energy and not the realm of reason. We can't even feel intent. But we can certainly use it!"

“One of the most difficult things for a man of our day to accept is the lack of procedure. In the world of sorcerers, don Juan said, procedures and rituals are mere designs to force a focusing of interest and determination. (And not, necessarily, our interest). They have no other value. The trick is to reach the energy body, to attract it's attention, which will understand what's being intended on the level of energy. And for that you need to free some of your trapped energy (attention) from the world of reason and human socialization.”

That quote is the good shit. When I was getting momentum I kept repeating it to myself, but the great paradox of silence itself is that it even makes you forget the tools/quotes/inventory that helped you to eventually intend it.

Silence seems to take over as the most precious “artifact” when you are able to get small taste of it, and you become willing to throw all the precious inventory overboard as fast as you can, but if you accidentally lose silence/intent itself then you have to go looking for those objects that helped you initially, again. At least in my case.

Your post resonated with me, cos lately my head's been wrecked by what intent is, or at least how to leverage intent to bring on silence faster.

I remember something from the books (can't remember which one) but DJ says "intent is beckoned with the eyes". You know something, I was trying to read about Silvio Manuel in here lately about some of his passes and I came across a post about how he could just look at a specific place (in front of him?) and he could just transfer over to his energy body.

Is intent something like that?

[-]
u/TechnoMagical_Intent 5 points 2025-12-14 13:21

Yes. And no.

The action itself is not the direct cause, but more of a suggestion. And the word "beckoned" clue us in on that:

Verb: beckon |be-kun|

Signal with the hands (or eyes!) or nod • She beckoned to her friends

Summon with a gesture • He beckoned her over to his table • The teacher beckoned the student to the front of the class

Appear inviting • The shop window decorations beckoned

That's the "pomegranate" color I suppose, and how text forms in Silent Knowledge.

I don't know if anyone is going to see it "form" in that much detail, but you're certainly going to find out that Silent Knowledge ("seeing") is very real, and quite entertaining.

At first you work your butt off to reach that level of silence, and when I first did I gave myself a goal to see 3 manifestations a practice session.

Which I couldn't do most days.

But after a while I could, so I increased it to 10. 10 "videos in the air", scenes on the bedspread, or even "text" in the air, although in my opinion that's just Carlos challenging us to witness different ways SK can stream, and not really a serious goal. Meaning, it's a strange goal to insist on reading it.

There's far cooler things than reading!

There's viewing, and there you are, inside the vision you're watching from the outside. You're literally in 2 places at once, and can focus on the one you want to perceive more fully.

That's at least 10% cooler than being a "reader"...

Continuous SK streaming follows perhaps a few months after you can reach 10 a night, and then "SK EVERYWHERE!".

That's where multiple streams are open at once, kind of like having 4 Youtube shows playing on your monitor...

Of course, at that point you're basically fully asleep. But with your eyes open.

So that why it works, starts to seem obvious.

And then, you get the strange idea that maybe you're just using the dreamer to get the sight, and it actually becomes "visible" to you. Like this picture.

/media/1pkyoen/k6aw6w2kit6g1.png

There's more after that, but I suppose you'll have to get there to know what it is, otherwise we'll get beginners trying to skip to whatever they believe gets them the most attention.

Why on earth do people do that??? It's like living in a population of starving people, and someone discovers how to get some actual food, and tells others.

So some random bad player starts talking about how excellent that food is, even describing it in tedious detail.

When he hasn't actually done any work to get some, and certainly never tasted any.

Why on earth do people do that???

Is this a rhetorical question?

I wonder if that's how round the modern luminous egg is? I've been cartooning it somewhere in the middle.

There is also a color version of this particular photo. I found it on the internet a while ago, but I didn't notice that it was this particular work..

Cleargreen used to mail out flyers for workshops to people who had subscribed to their mailing list. It likely can from that, or from the announcement they put out, in parallel, on their old website.

ok I understand!
I had seen also the illustration with the ship in green waters but unfortunately I can't find it anymore..

But, there was a third:

Ship experts in a subreddit said that is indeed a dutch sailing ship, but they implied it was armed.

Could be Lujan's ship. And you'd definitely need weapons to travel from China to Mexico.

Can ask a question?
I often encounter unintelligible lettering/wording in my practices, but more often I fairly clearly see numbers and number schemes; that I can remember.

This morning I saw: 8419, 8-4-1-9, 84-19
Not sure how to read the scheme, the font looked old alarm clock. There was also some internal debate, 9 is a 3, vice versa. I think that was my ID sneaking in?

Is this tonal influence/energy seeping into my practice or something I should pay attention to and look for in daily awareness.

**Be nice to get winning lottery ticket numbers

We haven't had anyone ask about this, so I suppose we don't really know.

But in general, until you can be in SK all day long there's not much chance of learning about it in this much detail.

That's the real way to learn about seeing.

To be seeing all the time, for at least a few years.

Contrast that with the "attainment" idea in Yoga and Buddhism, and you'll realize how ludicrous those systems are.

They aren't real. It's so hard for them to get anything at all to happen, that they grasp at straws and consider even a beginner's experience to be profound.

In our system you've only just become a beginner, when you can keep your assemblage point in the position of the purple zone.

That's when you begin to learn.

And over there is where you get that very useful "sorcerer's jet plane".

In January I saw numbers in red, old alarm clock font.

u/BBz13z 2 points 2025-12-16 01:48

We’ve had a few similar experiences now. It’s out there to say, but I think it’s the sub. It links our development.

Have you been able to read anything yet? All my silent knowledge encounters have been unintelligible scribbles that look a lot like writing. I’ve noticed my intuition in daily awareness is picking up.

[-]
u/drinkjetfuel 3 points 2025-12-16 02:06

I noticed the same thing!

For months I was seeing text on a phone like interface. I would scroll through it, probably an obsession coming out during gazing.

The text would mostly be out of focus, sometimes I could read it, sometimes I could read and remember it.

The night I commented to you, I saw a piece of paper with words that were legible and in a sentence but it wasn’t cohesive or memorable. Focusing on the words is a weird feeling.

I’ve noticed text related experiences as a slow progression since I started practicing. With a fun intent gift in the beginning, when I saw floating text in the air, in perfect type text.

Congrats mate! Your progress is 💯
I see numbers and numbering schemes more than the scribbles.
It’s gonna be wild when we can get silent knowledge sitting over a persons head.
I’m stoked on all of it.

u/drinkjetfuel 3 points 2025-12-16 04:45

Thank you, I appreciate it. I’ve been putting a lot of effort and time in. Your posts have been great as well, glad you’re feeling better!

Seeing numbers would totally trigger me into lottery mode.

I was chatting with someone at work, asked them a question while gently gazing at them, and saw a white/yellow colored spark swirl around above their head while they thought of the answer. A few times while talking to my boss I literally saw a pop when he had an idea.

It’s crazy what can be observed just by squeezing the internal dialogue a little.

I ordered CC’s books used. One came with an old lottery ticket in it. I think the original owner was using it as a bookmark. I’ve been playing the numbers on that ticket lol

What does that image with the diagonal yellow section, oval blue shapes and brown borders represent?

[-]
u/Bilissss 2 points 2025-12-13 06:13

the blue ones are the luminous eggs or the energy body with the Ap and the brown ones are the emanations
(I don't remember in which bible the reference to the emanations was but Don Juan told Carlos that they looked like stacks of straw one on top of the other, maybe that's what it depicts?)...

I believe the story goes that CC had time to greenlit the cover of Magical Passes before he himself passed. A hand with a sky in it seems very congruent with how he could read infinity.
