i'm from georgia (country) and i just want to tell you about my dream. I am a translator, and I primarily study the systems of G.I. Gurdjieff and P.D. Ouspensky. Carlos Castaneda is a source of immense pleasure for me because it was after reading his Journey to Ixtlan that my love for esotericism awakened. I’m not claiming that the dream I saw corresponds to objective reality, but I’ll tell you everything exactly as it happened. It occurred in 2020. The day before the dream, I had to stay at my neighbor’s house because my own village home was overcrowded. This woman was a widow, and she was grieving excessively—constantly talking to herself. I woke up early in the morning but didn’t get up, knowing there was no point in going home yet since everyone was still asleep (they’d drunk heavily the night before). Suddenly, in a state of complete lucidity, the thought struck me: This woman would die screaming at the moment of death. At that very instant, I heard the loud ticking of a clock and then Don Juan’s voice: ‘Run, Carlos! Run!’
Just then, a black mass with a white dot at its center burst into the room and slammed into me. I felt its voice and the pressure of the air. My heart was pounding so fast I thought it would explode. When I finally managed to get up a few minutes later—after the paralysis faded—the sound of the clock was nowhere to be found. The day after the incident, I dreamed that I was standing next to Don Juan. He had a pot hanging over a fire and was boiling something. Timidly, I said to him: ‘Don Juan, please, teach me something.’ He replied: ‘I will teach you one thing.’ And then I woke up. That was all.
