Don't Steal From The Inorganics! - The Scarlet Flower (1952) by Lev Atamanov

I saw this short clip from the 1952 animation on

Instagram

, and felt it was a good message that would visually drive home several points of practice.

"When you ruin a nice experience by worrying it won't last and try to hold on indefinitely, instead of simply enjoying it while it happens."

And I was intrigued enough by the animation to track it down on YouTube. This link is queued to an 8 minute segment. It stops being relevant after the 17:38 mark.

I thought we supposed to Interact with energy that’s one of the features of tensegrity.

While stealing is an interaction, not all interactions are stealing.

But I'm actually unclear if something is freely given, or the option to use is there, does accepting it constitute stealing in their world(s)?

Like when the character in the animation eats the food that materializes in front of him, after he mentioned he was hungry or something.

And then expresses gratitude afterward.

I assumed that it was if you tried to take it from there out of greed (when he picks the scarlet flower), as opposed to using it while you're there, which would be pure interaction.

It's likely entirely due to a difference in intent.

This simian ain’t one for deep kinda thinking, but since you asking:

Ultimately the scarlet flower dies cause this dude coveted the beauty and picked it. The flower is a living entity, that was murdered for its beauty.
No one ever stops to ask the flowers how they feel about being picked…

This is one of the wierd things about this sub. The books clearly state that iobs are dangerous entities that want to trap you in their prison planet either through a verbal agreement, trickery, temptation or by breaking their laws like theft.

Meanwhile this sub straight up tells people to interact with them the first chance they get and there are random posts of people accepting energy or merging with an iobs willy nilly.

Don't you guys get together and share ur iob interactions and figure out the ins and outs of the iob world. I would have though maybe they should be all figured out by you advanced practitioners by now.

Are you advanced bros really doing everything solo?

Isn't it the case that, for example, all men should be dangerous, at least according to some ideologies?

Does that mean you don't interact with men, if that is part of your thought on the matter?

You need dark energy, it is mandatory, don't let fear overcome you.

You also misunderstand, they might just be the only safe haven, so, from their perspective, they really are just protecting you:

"You can say that again. But not just because of what you are thinking. For you, the diabolical part is the temptation to give in, especially when such great rewards are at stake. For me, the diabolical nature of the inorganic beings' realm is that it might very well be the only sanctuary dreamers have in a hostile universe."

"Is it really a haven for dreamers, don Juan?"

"It definitely is for some dreamers. Not for me. I don't need props or railings. I know what I am. I am alone in a hostile universe, and I have learned to say. So be it!"

...

"In the final analysis," he began, "my aversion to the old sorcerers' activities is very personal. As a nagual, I detest what they did. They cowardly sought refuge in the inorganic beings' world. They argued that in a predatorial universe, poised to rip us apart, the only possible haven for us is in that realm."

"Why did they believe that?" I asked.

"Because it's true," he said. "Since the inorganic beings can't lie, the sales pitch of the dreaming emissary is all true. That world can give us shelter and prolong our awareness for nearly an eternity."

I think it's wise to fall back on the wisdom of folk stories of the past. Like hanzle and grettle, and the like. In snow white the girl ate something given by a witch and she was trapped in sleep.

When i was in malaysia, the people told me not to

  1. marry one of their women or i wouldnt return
  2. Talk about them

The native americans always try and never to aknowledge any supernatural beings.

To marry implies a permanent long-term bonding, that’s the intent behind it. So yeah, if they can’t leave their realm, except in dreaming, then voicing out loud an intent to marry could be interpreted as agreeing to stay.

And not talking about them sounds like pure fear mongering, to keep persons here on this earth. And here only. In the tribe, as it were.

On the eating thing…

You eat in a restaurant, a convention center, or the free food at some get together, but that does not associate with an intent to stay there forever and become a permanent resident.

But if you’re still concerned (and thinking) about misinterpretation, go hungry.

Um, Russians sometimes call the female genitals a scarlet flower. I read an article saying that this cartoon is about painful defloration, lol. To be honest, I don't understand how you can steal from non-organics. They scare the shit out of me.

I thought of another Soviet cartoon based on Dr. Seuss' fairy tale. A noisy crowd of animals on the horns of a moose looks like an internal dialogue of thoughts that, in fact, were not invented by us. And fear allows you to quickly get rid of them all.

That's like Moses and the burning bush, except Moses didn't try to figure out what it was.

And of course, that's precisely what happens when you're looking at amazing magic.

You "smash" it by trying to figure out what it is, or if it's real. You get a mixture of greed, doubt, and hope.

All very bad for a "clean link to intent".

We're sleepwalkers. If we're anything else we won't go far in sorcery.

Thus religion really SUCKS. It's everything that smashes magic, all rolled up in a socially praised burrito with a spoiled moldy tortilla.

Take Buddhist monks chanting in ceremonies. Florinda in a lecture given at the magic shop on the Promenade in Santa Monica, said that they'd figured out how to intend their assemblage point to move, using that ceremony.

Except... They were trying to hold it fixed, in the green zone of bliss and minor closed eye visions.

A trap for the ego! As long as you're focusing on physical masturbative meditation effects, the vast majority of what's perceivable to us is completely blocked.

The important sorcery perceptions are the new ones that you can't figure out at all. Can't even describe them, and they certainly can't be sustained like you were just going to sit in your heated massage chair to relax after work.

I'll have to get Cholita one of those if she comes back...

So one might say, part of the progress you make in darkroom skills is being bored with real magic!

So that you don't smash it anymore. You just say "Hey! Long time no see", to the magical spirit floating by.

That picture is pretty much what happened around 2:30AM this morning, to me.

Except the head was further away and I wasn't wearing Chinese pajamas.

As for the dangers of stealing from the inorganic beings, it could be that it's not as if they're so stupid they believe you can actually keep a gold coin you snatch from their world.

Obviously you won't have it the next day.

In fact, if you could keep it for real they'd be overjoyed most likely. And be setting up little trails of gold coins, to lure you back in to their tunnels.

More likely is, snatching an object from them sets up some "stuck energy of guilt".

You know you stole, which means you "owe" them.

It's the kind of energetic connection we try to break, using recap.

And if you can't, then you have to track down the people you wronged and make up for it.

If you don't, then when you die a piece of your awareness remains stuck in this reality, and you go off into infinity slightly diminished.

That's likely inevitable, or else don Juan wouldn't have warned Carlos when they first met, to never reveal the location of a sorcerer's body.

And perhaps the old seers wouldn't have buried themselves, as a technique to extend life span.

Maybe their body still had the connection to the awareness stuck in this reality, so their remaining awareness, post death, could use that as an anchor. To keep from spreading out too thin.

According to sorcerers, everyone gets to live past death for at least a little while.

How little, we don't know. Could just be hours.

Imagine the irrationality of your dreamer, which runs around doing totally bizarre things if you look at it from the point of view of the flow of events.

One minute you're in your car worrying that the brakes have stopped working, and the next you're walking along the side of the road, which seems to be made only of sharp pebbles that hurt your bare feet.

Without any transition.

So you find yourself next in your vast apartment (except you live in a house now), trying to figure out whether to wear the "furry on the inside" Uggs, or the flip-flops that are easier to clean of sharp little rocks, as you walk along.

Without rationality our awareness would spread out so fast after death, getting less and less purposeful with each expansion, that my suspicion is you only get to keep your sentience for less than a day.
