It really won't do me any good to explain this image, despite how wonderful it is to experience fully stable solid magic right in your face! And daily.
The problem is, our greedy "self" only makes lists of "how" to do magic, as "rules" it can repeat in a discussion group so it can lord it over others who don't know as many of the "rules".
Meanwhile, never following their own memorized rules, if those take actual work.
It's the inventory obsession thing people who are too lazy to do actual work to stop their internal dialogue, use as a substitute to get the human attention they are actually after.
They even get angry if someone questions any of the "rules" they picked up from the books.
Carlos got so tired of this, he told us to stop reading his books.
But that didn't work.
Fortunately, the problem is much simpler than that.
You quite simply have to learn to STOP your internal dialogue. Nothing else really matters.
At that point, the rest is learned with gifts from infinity and is the actual process of learning sorcery.
Through cleaning your link to intent.
Nothing that people say will help you,. other than explaining that you MUST stop your internal dialogue or nothing will ever work to any significant extent.
You can "substitute" something else for the internal dialogue, but then you just get crummy Yogi or Buddhist Master minor meditative effects.
Not really worth even that mediocre level of effort.
But stopping the internal dialogue, though said to be impossible by other systems, is 100% worth the extreme effort it takes to learn that.
And it actually becomes easy eventually!
At that point, you're "cleaning" if you want to go further.

Clouding intent is definitely what's happening to me, I recognize that. I try to not GAF when I see something if it shows up and disappears. But it's hard cos when I see something new or novel immediately my thoughts creep in. Ayy, this path is hard.
It actually gets fairly easy eventually.
And then, you run into the next problem...

Which book?
He wrote around 15 or 16 of them. And his witch companions wrote another 4 or 5.
Also, there's no secrets... That's an Asian fake magical system sales gimmick. Or an obsession of delusional EuroMagick, which believes secrets will finally make their lame pretending work.
In the case of the books of Carlos, It all works exactly as he wrote if you can get off your lazy butt and start working for real.
Then you can stream the "secrets of the universe" as they pertain to all the alternate realities we have available, for a half hour each night.
That drives me nuts almost every day because it causes me to have to give up exploring the multiverse, to go write down some new "secrets" in the advanced subreddit.
Such as what I wrote last night about how witches can leave pieces of their energy body, in magical objects that are part of a spell.
(I didn't way it works very well...)
Or if you want "secrets", which honestly aren't worth much because there are far too many to make use of even a few, you can do the world of the Allies and be taught their secrets too.
For real.
But still, there's no secrets here.
If someone claims they have some, almost certainly all they're after is your money. Or they're mentally ill.
Go pretend somewhere else?
