Hey, it's Rae! Day One

I've been reading through the documents on this sub for more than a day now. I began trying to quiet my inner dialogue for the whole day and it's been hard! Which, duh.

I didn't realize how much I had until now. I'd always thought that I didn't have much, since it almost disappears when I get avoidant. But now I'm more healthy and that doesn't happen so... I guess I'm learning more and more lol

But I've seen benefits already! By following my intuitions instead of listening to my inner dialogue I caught my bus on time and found a nice breezy spot to wait for said bus (standing in this next spot is why I almost missed the bus lol)

I feel like I've arrived here at a great place in my life! I've healed old wounds and can commit to this, something I never could have done in the past. It feels like I've been pushed here almost, though I could just be connecting dots that don't exist 🤷‍♀️

I'm currently reading 'tales of power'. Will I have questions? Yes. Will I look in the wiki and do a quick search before posting a question? Also yes.

I'm looking forward to learning.

Best,

Rae

Tales of Power is perhaps the first "serious" book of the initial 4. They're all nice, but the first 3 are 90% trickery. Of both us. and Carlos. Sorcerers teach by trickery, in order to avoid having their apprentices flee for their lives, once they understand what's going on.

From Chat:

It seems, no one has the original poster the blue scout drew, which was given out at one workshop.

Cholita might, but she's not talking. She also likely still has Taisha's last book. A print shop copy. She had it around in an apartment I got for her back in the late 90s.

The original of this poster taught a lesson that wasn't obvious to viewers.

Which Cleargreen seems to have drawn over, erasing the value of that poster.

Which is that silent knowledge "forms" from energetic disturbances. and at some point you have a choice.

To "intend" it to form a text message ("seeing"), or to look for a "video in the air".

The old seers preferred the concrete, and they hadn't invented writing systems yet.

So they watched scenes. Perfectly real looking ones! Never doubt it. You can walk right off into them, when you have a lot of energy.

Likely they used a dark cave to make it easier.

In the original, you simply cannot tell, if what's flowing from infinity is text letters or the profile of a city, shown only in white.

It's the "decision point" on how to view Silent Knowledge.

At least they got the color right.

That's the color of your energy body "swarming" to help you view magic.

I need help!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is there any way to “radically” change your life so you can practice sorcery 24/7????

The lineage literally “intended their death” (like actual death), and it worked out perfectly, they got all the life conditions to make this work.

Living a normal life literally kills intent. I don’t know how anyone in this subreddit is able to “make it”, while living a “normal life”?????????

But “intending your death” literally doesn’t work anymore because there’s no where for you to go.

I got it to work for some time but my life was opposite of what it is now, and it was a very small time period, which I used the momentum.

But if you lose the momentum what do you do????

Can you go “live of intent”? Like try and go to the woods and build a “dark room shack” where you can try and get intent to make life work out for you?

Maybe not even a “dark room shack” but try and stay up all night in the woods to see if you somehow “see IOBs” like people in the past? Then try to hope intent will take care of you?

Quick answer- recapitulate. There's so much magic even in the mundane. Ok, gotta get back to work.

No one's figured out how to do that yet.

Don't be confused and believe you can learn sorcery by whatever method you like. That's just propaganda from fake magical systems which have bad people for leaders. And no real magic at all.

The real thing is much more complicated!

Sorcery is a "pull" from infinity. It's not something we can control.

We can only attach ourself to it, and see what opportunities come along.

Accepting gratefully what we get.

And learning on your own, has never been done before.

We're the first.

All we can do is stick to the path Carlos created for us.

And hope it begins to pull harder than it has in the past.

Carlos called that "energetic mass".

This is a waste of time, but here goes. The first question you really need to ask yourself is, “How much are you willing to change or let go of?”

There are no teachers or gurus here. Answering this may raise more questions than it answers.

You’ve already been given the initial answer: Recap, but first you must quiet your inner self. Then do the Tensegrity and Dark Room exercises. Only then will you find answers to your own questions, and you’ll realize you’ll have more questions than answers, because nothing is ever enough.

When that moment comes, you’ll know you must undergo a literal death of the “I,” cease to be yourself despite all that it entails, and only when you fully grasp everything that this implies will you make a real decision about whether to continue or not.

In the meantime, just read and try to understand all the books. That’s what I can tell you from my own personal experience. And from there on, I don’t care whether it’s valued or not.

You already have Dan’s answer if you wanted to get attention. Now you have another one, mine, and I hope it helps you in some way.

Hmmm, why is this a waste of time?

Because if you haven't even asked yourself this first and simplest question, you're certainly not going to be able to move forward. It's a fact in this subreddit: you'll get stuck like others. Therefore, and only if you're truly honest with yourself, how much are you willing to give up/let go of in your current life? If you've already considered this, you already have the next steps and you'll know if it's really worth it without having to ask or seek help.
