I've been writing shit for this post all day as if it's a journal entry. Come to now, I don't care about reporting all the stuff about what I'm trying to do throughout the day. I'll keep it as a journal entry. After trying a dark room for the first time, I'm curious. Is it always that scary? Or is it just that scary because I was told it could be scary.
Like, even knowing I wasn't going to see anything because it was my first time, there was still a nervous energy in my chest. And it was strange because I knew it was there, but since I was doing tensegrity, I wasn't able to focus on it. It felt like I needed to keep going through the movements.
I went for about 30 minutes. Which isn't close to the time I wanted to spend doing it. But I'm out of shape and my fear system is jacked. Does that get better?

Removed for "Low Effort Posting." Instead, find a related post and place your question or content there as a comment, ask it in the MEGATHREAD, or join the Discord Server.
No low effort posting, pretending, or wasting people's time. - Especially problematic posts that could be answered by either practicing, or by reading more posts or from the books, will (upon review) be removed, and users who make similar repeated posts will be banned for a set period.
Pretend sorcery which does not emphasize silence, and is based only on thinking and mood, will not be tolerated. Posts which lack sobriety and are cryptic or crazed, rambling comments with no point but to distract, etc...are not the mood we reinforce in here.
Using the subreddit as a journal entry is not a good idea, but keeping track of experiences can be useful.

Regarding the nervous energy, yes, it can happen, all different kinds of things can happen, but don't let it be at that level. Continue reading the books, because it serves as a way to connect you to intent and definitely continue to practice.

We suggest, if anything, that you consolidate your journal type entries into your first post, by adding additional daily comments during the first month.
You could then make another one next month if you want.
Usually, we encourage people to reserve full posts for noteworthy experiences and things that they’ve learned they could either help people, or to acknowledge shared difficulties, and ask advice.
Great advice! Thank you!
I should have phrased it as you could then make another post next month for that month's entries.
