I ran out of room for the types of "shine" I commonly run into. And explaining them takes so much text, that ChatGPT was unhappy with the entire diagram.
Fortunately, someone is getting Copilot AI to search all of the books and lecture notes, to summarize this topic, using the source.
But NOTHING will help you as much to really learn sorcery, as moving your assemblage point through stopping your internal dialogue, until the second attention becomes visible.
That's when the "shine" effects become noticeable. And you can draw your own conclusions, on whether there's just one thing going on, or whether there are multiple topics. Which is how Carlos explained it to us.
My theory is that there's some "deeper layer" at which it would become obvious that the shine is a single thing.
But then, physicists also fell into a search for the "deeper layer" which will explain everything, and have gotten almost nowhere for the last 50 years.
Thus to quote a famous physicist, should you ponder the source of it all, or "Just shut up and calculate"?
Certainly, at first (until you can easily "see"), you really need to focus on the basics.
Shutting off the internal dialogue while using tensegrity to lure out your double.
If you can't manage the tensegrity you can substitute gazing. But you'll fall asleep and go inward if you use that to learn to stop your internal dialogue.

For me, the shine has appeared a place where dark energy applies pressure to the emanations, producing awareness and enrichment. The fact that the shine can later manifest as a scene, a colored puff, an entity, and so on is just a matter of the level of enrichment taking place at that particular location in the dark sea of awareness.
Recapitulation is after those very same things! It reclaims the shine from events...or, one could say it stops the shine altogether.
So recap is like antiquing glaze?
This shine appears to me randomly, it seems to get bigger until i move my eyes and it shrinks again. And moves with my eyes.
It appears like a compact checkerboard rotated into itself like spiral galaxy, is green and purple. I feel like i want to jump in when it comes by!!!
I also feel like deja vu right now, like i commented this before. Lol.
So far we don't have a good way to tell what someone is seeing, and whether it's an indication they are on the "right track".
But, we do have the tensegrity which manipulates the puffs, and "forms" an energy body.
So that if the elements of that practice become visible, we don't have to worry if it's just "eye junk".
Thus make sure to be doing tensegrity dainly, while forcing your internal dialogue off, and look for the puffs of purple light. Carlos spoke about those often, in various forms, and the tensegrity is designed to manipulate them with your hands.
That "shine" might be something else which isn't actually helpful.
Or it might indeed be helpful, in which case you should try to focus your attention entirely on that, while stopping your internal dialogue.
Use it to test if you stopped your internal dialogue more than the last time you practiced.
To see where that leads.
Just keep in mind, when you get advanced you'll see dozens of new things you don't know what to do with, DAILY.
So no one thing is particularly important.
Unlike fake magical systems, which focus on specific effects. With the idea that if you can see that, you made progress or reached the goal.
Sorcery isn't like that.
It's more like a physical activity that's extremely hard to do and which requires endless practicing.
Where doing one of the harder moves is "progress", but in no way any kind of goal.
Oh my god yeah i have dabbled in almost all kinds of magic, but it doesn’t feel right, like the systems just seem weird and like too much memorization lol.
My dog even knows what’s up because if i lift my foot to take a step into somewhere that is not for me, or i guess, a dimension i don’t need to be entering or whatever… she will bark. Or jump on me.
But i need to also rely on myself for that! Endless practice is definitely my vibe. Thank you.
Also, the swirly thing i see sometimes feels ominous. Like i don’t want it to expand because it feels like a trick? Idk if that’s weird to say. I can innately feel when it is right and when it isn’t right (for me) but i am still just observing it before making further decisions.
I'd try to jump in, if it was offered in a manner where I "knew" that was possible. Just make sure you're in the safety of a room with walls. Don't try it on a rooftop, for example.
But usually although you can see that there's entry to another realm, you either need an Ally to make that work (they'll be visible pointing or indicating you can go in, or they'll float in themselves and you can follow), or if it's far past what the allies can show us (purple zone on J curve), you'll notice you were already in there, because your energy body wanted to investigate.
If you want to play it safe, don't go in unless your ally is there helping, or you're already in there from your double, and you just have to focus your awareness on what your double is seeing there.
Here's a short cartoon of what Mad Prophet's Ally "Lily" taught me.
And the kind of "offer" you get, to go into a place.
This next one is also possible. I've done that a few times. In fact, the bamboo forest is one of my favorites. But that manifestation is still "help" from an Ally.
