I am only attempting to silence the internal dialogue at this time, the closest I think I've come without the aid of "power plants" has been a slight chill that kinda starts below the point in my spine between my shoulders that emanates through my body.

Is there a physical feeling that accompanies the silence or am I attributing the wrong things to my practice?

Hi, I'll try to be brief as a novice practitioner. This question can be answered by anyone who practices or has practiced meditation in their life. By managing to quiet your inner dialogue, you're managing to silence your mind (let's call that supposed "foreign mind" or false ego "Bobby," call it what you will), that is, you're achieving inner silence, and it's a monumental task. And if you've read anything about meditation, any kind, you'll know that when you focus on yourself, on your breath, on calming that internal chatter and infernal war of attrition against yourself, you're going to feel sensations… that's normal, due to a change in focus. The focus is no longer on all the external and internal crap that you hate and that overwhelms you; you begin to be you and your body, your sensations, the thoughts that run through you. Keep going, achieve more inner silence; that's the main path and one of the most difficult.

Yes and it's a huge conundrum because, sensations, sounds, visual phenomena, they are a sign of progress but highly unpredictable, and the worst part is they will become a distraction themselves, definitely triggering the return of inner dialogue, or at least that's my experience. I've been several times of my life to a point where I become physically euphoric or breathing like never before, or seeing a bright light in front of me, or coming out of my chest, or strange sounds like vibrating, even like earthquake movement, to predicting what someone is going to say (reading mind?), etc. A very particularly impressive one to me is sensing a tree awareness, like it becomes aware of me almost like a communication. Unfortunately for me when I begin that stage, I get so shocked my inner dialogue starts strong and I can't stop it anymore at that point, and often it can be years before another similar event. But everyone's different and you may have more discipline than me. The point is to be aware of your and not let any strange phenomena allure and distract you.

There are a lot of different sensations that can be felt when the AP moves.

For me, the easiest way to roughly determine my assemblage point position is visually, typically through darkroom or by using an eye mask. Gazing in various lighting works as well.

Am I seeing vague colors or smears? My AP moved a little…

Am I seeing full puffs, moving around or flowing or monotone scenes forming? My AP is approaching the shift below.

Am I seeing whitish surfaces forming or phantom rooms etc? My AP is coming up the front.

Am I seeing full blown scenes or dreaming awake? My AP is coming into alignment with my second attention AP.

(I am keeping the examples brief because I don’t want to bog this down.)

It’s easier visually to determine where our AP is positioned with a lower margin of error. Some physical sensations can be attributed to other things going on with our bodies. Compared to a 3D face pushing out of a whitish wall or even a simple beautiful puff.

Hope this helps.

Sometimes, when I'm in a good place of inner silence, I see geometric shapes and thread-like structures. Is this still the Green zone?

There are a lot of variables, color, 2D vs 3D, still image or animated etc. without more information it’s hard to tell.

If you feel a need to ask, I’d say you’re on the right track , which is great, but keep pushing forward and do not be satisfied or complacent with anything.

From my experience, don’t get attached to the current presentation methods or sights, because things can change from session to session or week/month.

As long as you’re progressively deepening silence from month to month, go with the flow of things.

Enjoy your sessions, hope you have a good upcoming practice!

Recapitulation first. Without a completed recapitulation, you won't be able to do shit.

Naturally if it gets stronger when you're more silent, then it's a result. And you might even be able to make use of it as feedback.

Just make sure it's not latent "Kundalini" thinking or some other religious delusion from another system.

You'll get pulled into their path which is attention seeking, religious behavior, and taking money from people based on fooling them into thinking you're superior to them.

All the concerns of having a "self", but amplified through a historical con game..

Worse... no magic. I'd dress up like Aleister Crowley posing for a picture, if he actually had any magic. But he didn't.

Still, there are "tricks" to help stop the internal dialogue. Everyone's going to discover their own along the way, and try to gain an advantage. It's how we learn complex activities.

Last night I was trying to figure out how to keep my attention focused on "Not Me". It's a position of the assemblage point where none of your normal concerns and worries are present in your awareness. If your assemblage point moves a fraction of an inch off that distant spot, you're "you" again. Move it back to that spot or further along towards silent knowledge, and you are absolutely 100%, NOT "you" anymore.

It's a strange thing, but I was using it as feedback to get my internal dialogue absolutely stopped.

If you stop it as little as 30%, you can get the early J curve effects.

And by the time you make it to the orange zone on the J curve you might have stopped it 80%.

But not 100...

It was 100% stopped when I could tell for sure I was no longer "me", and only mostly stopped when I had those "worries and grief" associated with being a modern, socialized person who has to defend his "me" from the onslaughts of the world he was born into.

Maybe you've found a "trick" like that. But never focus too much on the tricks, or you might miss the next one.

Sorcery isn't one trick. Like Eastern "binary" systems.

It's one billion tricks! So many tricks, that the inorganic beings try to fool us into staying in their world, with the promise of teaching us all the magic tricks there are.

While alive, it's a good idea to realize how pointless the tricks are unless they help you over a little bump in the road at your current position.

But we never get out of the awfulness of forcing off the internal dialogue. That builds your "silence muscles". And it's the price of entry to sorcery realms.

Stopping the internal dialogue eventually turns easy, and wonderful. So it's worth the suffering.

But I suggest you find some visual magic to use as feedback, such as gazing. If you want to keep it as simple as possible. You gaze at something that's slightly confusing to the mind if your eyes are a little crossed, and watch for sparkly shapes on the edges. Or anything else.

Objects with too many random edges, which coalesce into a wrong focus on it that confuses the mind, work especially well. Kind of like looking at a chainlink fence and not focusing, but the left and right eye come together anyway and it takes on a strange depth that's obviously wrong. Due to the symmetry making several positions of the eyes work to make a convincing "fence".

Leaves can be used that way too. Or a bathroom heater grating.

If you've really stopped your internal dialogue, those little colorful sparkles and shapes which show up as your awareness tries to focus on something less confusing, can grow into entire worlds you can zip off into.

I suppose you could gaze at something ordinary, such as a little antique metal figure. But I'd worry that over time an Ally will go to live in it. Since forcing silence while gazing at it will produce what is essentially a dream. And the scout running around in your dreams can appear even in waking dreams. You definitely don't want Ebenezer coming to life in your bedroom, as you drift towards sleep.

Or better said, I'd love to have that. But a beginner would wet their bed.

Imagine being able to send Ebenezer to investigate anything you like, even far away.

That's part of what the old seers used the Allies for.
