What good does it do to make your blanket glow?

/media/1v7zzg9/ux62h0pmurfh1.jpg

If it's just a glow, probably not much. But if it indicates you've moved your energy body into an object, don Juan warned how dangerous that sort of thing could be.

Objects coming alive? Sound familiar?

There's a lot of details in the books that weren't explained much, and for good reason.

There's no need to give people more material to pretend. Let them discover anything that's available in Silent Knowledge by themselves.

Still, we went far too long with no one willing to work hard enough to stop their internal dialogue, so we've made the conscious decision that showing real magic, is better than never showing any.

Here's something "questionable" as far as showing it to beginners goes.

But in fact, your energy body might be able to take over stuff.

Maybe even make the Atlantean figures of Tula walk around the museum at night?

But there's the issue of whether someone whose flesh body has died, can still manifest as alive through their residual awareness. And whether that residual awareness is almost the same as their energy body?

The inorganic beings seem to think it's the same. Don Juan said that when they kidnap someone, they take their energy body first, and come back for the physical matter.

Those being overly disruptive will be temporarily or permanently banned, at the mods discretion. - This is a blanket rule, meant to give mods a more broadly applicable option for a ban or content removal. People are creative, and one can never predict just what they'll come up with to "stink up the joint."

Banned users still have access to the subreddit, wiki, and all it's resources.

It’s interesting when you or other senior/advanced practitioners drop SK as it relates to the books/workshops. For me the later books have gotten dynamic and CC’s words take on new definitions and intentions; that you’re pointing out.

There’s also, as I’ve been reading around the sub, a……? Different mindset and world view that wafts out of the words of practitioners. Not so hooked to society? I’ve noticed that change in a couple of other newer people whose posts i pay attention to. Hard to gleam at times, but it’s there. You stop noticing the day to day perceptual agreement, as nudges and flashes of something more exciting and disconcerting/disturbing creeps in (at least for me).

We all need to find the balance between all of our interest being focused on daily events, or all of our interest being focused on darkroom magic.

Because we don't have a lineage community.

In the lineages, I believe most of the apprentices worked in the "family business".

Which might have been varied after 800 years of passing down wealth from new lineage to new lineage.

Carlos was importing art when he also imported Cholita from Mexico.

She restores art.

But why was Carlos importing art?

Which we know, the lineage had a bunch of. One entire room at Zuleica's seemed to be dedicated to holding a bunch of it.

Cholita used to roam around in Mexico looking for old paintings in Church cellars, until doing that become a well known source of income.

Then it got harder to talk them out of the 400 year old oil paintings.

Most of which were commercial. But a hand copies commercial painting from 400 years ago, is a "work of art" today.

Not to sound flippant, but I don’t think I’d have an interest in a lineage. Too much commitment and I like my independence. This Sub works well for me and keeps me oddly very self-motivated. If I had someone else working with me, I’d get rebellious and start skipping days. We humans (or maybe it’s just me) are weird like that.

The Cholita plot keeps getting more and more interesting.

Was Cholita academically trained in art restoration? 400yr old church anything is leaning into antiquity zone, no?

Any ideas where CC’s physical possessions went? I don’t think Margaret or the son got anything, he’s still bitter; can’t blame him. He once had a license plate that read: shaman.

Yes, Cholita went to school. There's some amazing stories in that regards. Such as her getting stranded with her female friend on a small island, and having to be rescued by young, handsome construction workers.

Cholita was extremely beautiful at that age. And could manipulate men easily.

I have pictures... But she'd kill me.

Carlos insisted she chop her hair off and stop smoking or she couldn't attend sunday classes, at which point she said, her charms no longer worked. Once her hair was super short, to her surprise she lost her appeal.

No more whistles as she walked down the sidewalks along Santa Monica Blvd.

Should have gone goth if she wanted the short hair to still work for her. But I suspect Carlos would have complained. On the other hand, imagine the original chacmools as the "goth sisters".

Some women rock the short hair and get wayyyyy sexier by it. I bet ya Cholita is one? It’s not all about looks, it’s female presence. Jadey and Kylie pull it off.

>Any ideas where CC’s physical possessions went?

Near the Russian / Jewish area in Los Angeles.

Lots of high end art stores there.

u/BBz13z 1 points 2026-07-27 15:00

Ahhhhh, it was all sold. Bummer

[-]
u/danl999 1 points 2026-07-27 15:08

Elias' chair might have been among that stuff, although my suspicion is that Zuleica's house is still owned by remnants of the lineage.

In Vicam area Yaqui territory.

[-]
u/BBz13z 1 points 2026-07-27 18:10

It always seemed sorta kinda suspicious and iffy that everything ended with Carlos. That the assets of the lineage didn’t move to him, which would have been a massive trail of paperwork. I’m fully hypothesizing, but a traditional branch (through the women) carried on, and a modernized western variant through Carlos for western consumption.

Seems like there’s just enough tidbits for us to ponder….until someone trustworthy maps it out via SK, but it wouldn’t matter much to him/her at that point.

I'm with you, man. I don't think these people are doing anything worthwhile.

I read Carlos Castenada's books, he talked about teleporting and visiting other dimensions physically.

That being said, I think I met a real "Man of Knowledge" once.

You do realize, I hope, that there's 3 private students of Carlos helping in here.

Some don't look around much before commenting.

we're just doing what Carlos told us to do,. in his final publications.

Here's one that didn't get printed except as a copy-store bound version handed out only to private class students and inner circle.

Maybe someone could buy one for a while, but not anymore.

And yet, it's the final instructions Carlos gave us.

https://archive.org/details/carlos-castaneda-silent-knowledge-cleargreen-1996

And I suppose, this hand folded flier is part of his last instructions along with the last few books that got printed commercially.

Show us pictures.

[-]
u/danl999 1 points 2026-07-27 19:10

There's 900 in this subreddit.

And most of them are over here on internet archive. Too bad I didn't use standard ZiP, or internet archive would let you page through them. Maybe they'll support RAR later on?

https://archive.org/details/allpics_26052026

But they don't allow deleting anything, so to make it viewable page by page, I'd have to upload a duplicate.

Anyway, all the pictures present in this subreddit are over here.

And if you click on "show all files", then on "view contents" for the rar file, then on each picture, you can indeed look at all of them, directly on archive dot org!

But not the back and forth comments present here in the subreddit, which are important if you want to verify people are succeeding, and there's no make believe involved.

Carlos taught us himself in person!

How could anyone expect him to fail? And certainly we aren't changing anything he taught.

FYI: You don't want to meet a "Man of Knowledge". Saying that indicates you never actually read the books, beyond the first 3.

The Men of knowledge were inept drug users who never learned to see. Don Juan only taught him about those guys, so he could have a different view of the world, and slip through the middle to "seeing".

You're confused, and most likely a waste of my time.

Except that others will read this also, and learn from it.

Plus, I'm trying to reach 3 attackers today, when combined with the lynching I got in other subreddits.

It's an experiment to see if I can get away with what I was doing last night (it's in that picture) without triggering a 3 person assault on the subreddit.

Carlos warned us about the "attack of 3s".

You don'[t yet qualify as one of those, so maybe it is indeed possible to push the boundaries, without being attacked the way we have been for the last 7 years.

Carlos never found a way to avoid the attacks.

But the internet largely didn't exist when he was alive.

[-]
u/knightenrichman 1 points 2026-07-28 00:50

So far all I'm seeing are computer-generated images and charts. I don't see any actual proof of visiting other dimensions.

Don't forget, Carlos taught that you shouldn't take anything personally.

Also, even if you google it, it says that Don Juan claimed to be a Yaqui Man of Knowledge, and a Sorcerer. I get that those are just labels, but we're splitting hairs here.

Where's your guys' actual proof?

[-]
u/colourful_fiasco 1 points 2026-07-28 08:06

No need to split any hairs when you can just go straight for the jugular; start doing the tensegrity.

[-]
u/danl999 1 points 2026-07-28 11:31

That actually didn't work for the last 30 years, and Carlos said so himself as he was dying.

You have to go straight for stopping your internal dialogue, using Tensegrity to help that, and also lure out your energy body.

If you just do the tensegrity you'll fall into pretending. You need something to "prove" you're actually doing things correctly. And the only thing that proves that, is visible magic.

The J curve diagram shows what you can find at all assemblage point positions. Carlos gave it to us, just before he died. As a map so we don't get lost in pretending.

It's in the wiki.

[-]
u/knightenrichman 1 points 2026-07-28 14:08

I find it interesting, but I've been doing Reiki/Kundalini instead. 14 years now!

I used to be super interested in this stuff, I read the first three books, several times!

[-]
u/danl999 1 points 2026-07-28 11:28

Suit yourself. No one in here cares if you learn or not. It's not a business. In fact, people who misunderstand as badly as you seem to and don't show signs of wanting to fix that, are a pain in the butt in here. And inevitably figure out they can't get any attention, so they go away.

But I do get the context now. You came from one of the other subreddits because I was over there yesterday. Maybe the "Are you Experienced" subreddit with made up stuff about people being visited by spirits that are pretty much their own delusions.

/media/1v7zzg9/wl8pq0qngyfh1.png

The "proof" here is in the posts, and the actual back and forth with people trying this out, and the pictures which show precisely what's in the books, but from a surprising experiential point of view. You'd have to have actually read most of the books to get that.

If you can't see it's real in here, then you're being dishonest with yourself. Unfortunately it can take a full decade to get over that blinder.

The difference between pretending and real is like a homeless alcoholic subreddit where everyone is pretending to have a job (which is likely where you came from), compared to a subreddit such as "I hate my boss", where everyone does indeed have a job and it's obvious from the posts.

If you can't read both subreddit types and tell which is made up, and which is real, you'll never be honest enough to learn sorcery.

You're likely drowning in pretending and looking for an easy way to improve your pretending with the least work.

Let's try this. If you can't see that this subreddit is real, point to one you believe is. We'll take a look! Or to any other place we can examine on the web.

But more likely is that you still haven't looked around in here much There's an amazing wiki on the side with anything you might want to know about this topic, including a list of fake sorcery books, and refutations of the attacks on Carlos over the years.

u/knightenrichman 1 points 2026-07-28 14:07

I thought you said there'd be pictures in the files you linked me. I can't find any.

[-]
u/danl999 1 points 2026-07-28 14:26

Are you using a cellphone? This subreddit has a picture associated with half the posts, going back 7 years.

It's right on the left, or they show up when you click on a post.

As for archive dot org, on windows if you follow those steps, you can view those directly on that web page.

Or you can download it and use winrar (free for trial usage that never ends) and unrar it into a folder.

There's stuff like this in there. And in this subreddit. And over here on instagram (might be easier for you to view). A talented 22 year old woman and a talented 22 year old man made this instagram.

I appreciate your comment about finding balance. Reminded me I haven't done recap for more than a few minutes in a while. I put on the 30 minute timer from Jadey's website about 30 minutes of daily recap. It's funny how interesting it is to do it at the time, and difficult to remember what it feels like in day-to-day. I almost feel asleep gazing iafterwards, kneeling and resting my head on a desk. When I "woke up" , the colors shimmer had a bit more texture. And then my daily consciousness snapped back in, suddenly remembered all the things I had planned for tomorrow.. about 50 minutes total. I keep running into that threshold and feeling both a shift in consciousness and a sort of bounce out to regular thinking after that long.

[-]
u/danl999 1 points 2026-07-28 12:30

Maybe waking up from sleeping and noticing a new assemblage point position, is an indication the sorcery is working?

Trust me when I say, it gets better and better.

I pretty much always see stuff like this when I first get up to practice. It's helpful for getting up in the middle of the night, because most of the time I get rewarded like this.

/media/1v7zzg9/y1zgrad9syfh1.png

Tired or not.

The problem then is, that lures me to put off Tensegrity in favor of gazing.

And even worse, what I get to see while gazing in that situation, can't be remembered later on.

Last night I was gazing at text forming the way Carlos wanted us to learn, for a good 20 minutes.

Never read anything useful, but it does seem to be "interactive". It's a bit like having a magical ChatGPT.

Which won't behave because if you pay too much attention, you break your link to the flow of intent.

I suppose I need a new hand gesture for having seen text...

I can't think of what it might be. But I definitely need a new one.

u/Emergency-Total-4851 1 points 2026-07-28 12:37

Write with your finger like Don Genaro suggested for Carlos to do with his notes.

u/danl999 1 points 2026-07-28 13:48

Wow, that's a good one!

But I already found the one I'll use.

You can try using that one?

If I'd thought of it, I'd have used it.

Too late now. I drew and posted it.

It'll be interesting to see if I get more text tonight, or none, as a result of posting about it.
