A question about darkroom

I have a question, I don't know if it has already been asked here. And probably addressed to "danl99" as you are the most experienced here and practice darkroom regularly and for a long time. How do you feel during the day when you regularly practice darkroom for 2-3 hours at night. are you tired during the day? or when the assemblage point moves, you are rested even though you are awake for 3 hours during the night. I think that it was also said in the books that when the assemblage point moves, the person is basically asleep, at least it appears that way or something to that effect. But I would be interested in how it is practically, how you feel during the day, those of you who regularly practice darkroom at night.

Thanks for answering

Unlike trying to learn using sleeping dreaming, under the mistaken belief you are following "Art of Dreaming", darkroom makes you happy once you can actually move your assemblage point.

Sleeping dreaming (but not womb dreaming which starts from awake) doesn't move it except while you are asleep, so the side effect of it is mild depression, but with an unwarranted feeling of optimism.

It's pretty much the difference between real magic, and pretend religious magic which makes followers optimistic until they realize it doesn't actually lead anywhere.

Darkroom on the other hand produces real magic which only grows daily, giving a good reason for optimism. There's no point when you figure out it doesn't go anywhere, because you can see vast stretches of new magic right in front of you, if you just keep going.

Once the laws of physics start going out the window, it's pretty much impossible to decide darkroom isn't working.

And darkroom allows the assemblage point to move even during the day, because it's 100% based on stopping the internal dialogue. Which can't possibly do anything but benefit you.

Sleeping dreaming leaves you up at the blue line on the J curve, where you started But perhaps with your assemblage point pushed horizontally.

Which makes you moody.

Darkroom doesn't do that at all, once you can actually get to the deep green zone and beyond.

Any position of the assemblage point other than our normal one, is "more happy". Not worn out. Not loaded up with internal dialogue based worries that aren't actually problems.

If you can hold your assemblage point in the orange zone, it's pretty much what Asian "Enlightenment" claims to be, but absolutely isn't.

You truly no longer have a "self" to torture yourself with.

However, the struggle to learn to move the assemblage point is very difficult, and your internal dialogue monster will even fight against it, and create phony problems.

We even see that in the subreddit, where practitioners are imagining phony problems and then complain about them.

Keep in mind, what we're trying to do has NEVER been done before.

So no one's an expert on the best way to do it.

We're just lucky it actually works.

Our community went 50 years with nothing actually working.

At least now, we have a chance.

I see. One question I had was: how do you feel during the day after doing the darkroom practice at night? Waking up to practice 3 hours in the middle of the night Are you tired, or are you well-rested and able to go about your day normally—working, driving, studying, etc.?

I had to give up my "normal" lifestyle to do that. So I get as much sleep as I actually need, but don't really keep track of it since I don't follow the normal "farming community" schedule.

Humans likely didn't do that, until the rise of agriculture.

We're slaves to the plants in some odd way.

Sorcery eventually requires giving up your "lifestyle", but not at first.

Carlos just didn't warn people that was inevitable.

But said so in private if asked.

How do I feel during the day????

Imagine you see a doorway open on your wall where there is none, it opens showing a garden paradise, and you manage to walk off into it for a while.

Not asleep! But instead, in the middle of doing your tensegrity.

How would you feel the next day?

I believe you're asking this because you haven't seen any real magic yet. So you're visualizing how you'll feel, doing fake magic that requires you to spend too much of your limited recreational time.

This picture is closer to what I saw two days ago, after doing "Fairy's Pass" for the first time in more than a year.

I was just curious what result I'd get, seeing as how Fairy had ditched me.

She did in fact show up, but only inside a "video in the air", into which I couldn't fully go.

I was only halfway in.

I'm not sure why she was so skinny.

Awake. I have to say that, or people assume this type of thing only happens asleep.

I do tensegrity in the daytime and I find that a couple hours later I will get sleepy. If I start doing tensegrity when that happens I can see more colours. I realise that in the initial practice, I'm not silent enough. I'm starting to think it's less disruptive to do it at night. But I get really vivid and weird dreams when I do it before bed.

Ayy man, don't think about it, just do it.
