Rudolf steiner and theosophy

Has anyone read much of rudolf steiners work as I've noticed a few overlapping ideas between him an castaneda. Steiner said the human aura forms a glowing egg shape which protects the developing soul. He also talked about at the end of each day to review it going backwards from end to beginning which reminded me of recapulation. I know they share alot of different views when it comes to other topics but I found these crossovers Intresting. Apologies if its not appropriate for the sub but id like to hear people's opinions

The stated purpose of this subreddit is to aid in restoring the reputation of Carlos Castaneda and the knowledge he imparted, by pragmatically applying that knowledge IN PRACTICE. This means that we are sticking to what really works, as proven by direct experience by long-practicing members.
No low effort posting, pretending, or wasting people's time.

Especially problematic posts, ex. questions that could be answered by either practicing or by reading more posts or from the books, will be removed and users who make similar repeated posts will be banned for a minimum of 3 months. Pretend sorcery which does not emphasize silence, and is based only on thinking and mood, will not be tolerated.
Self-centered promotion, jockeying for a "top-dog" position, & grandstanding are bannable behaviors.

Persons promoting behavior over effort to get silent and the necessity to move the assemblage point, and who won't give up that activity, are likely to be banned for a minimum of ONE YEAR.
Those being overly disruptive will be temporarily or permanently banned, at the mods discretion.
