just for the record for someone, because i followed this animation before and it was not correct.
It is a bit incomplete — it doesn’t show the movement from the hips that should be present when performing these movements...
ahhh thank you for sharing that! I thought the idea of the animations was neat (the music nearly made me spit out my Spaghetti-Os), but if incorrect, then that's not very helpful at all 😕
I asked chatgpt for a translation of the German text:
The German is a little poetic and deliberately repetitive. A natural English rendering would be:
Where would we get to,
if everyone said,
“Where did we get to?”
and no one went
to see
where we would get to
if we went.
Or, preserving the wordplay and rhythm more closely:
Where would we arrive,
if everyone said,
“Where have we arrived?”
and no one went
to see
where we would arrive
if we went?
The key word is “kämen/kamen” (to come, arrive, get to) and “ginge/gingen” (to go). The poem is essentially playing with the paradox: if nobody actually goes anywhere to find out where we might get, we can only keep asking where we are.
Isn't that stolen video? Certainly the animation software is decades old.
Even so, if you did that form while that music was playing you'd fully negate the positive effects.
Carlos was careful about the music he listened to. Explaining that most is "me" obsessed, but once in a while a song that longs to escape that, comes along. Such as "You only live twice".
But even with that song, he had criticisms of most of it. Just a small part was the "longing" he liked to hear in music. As I recall, the rest of was mating obsessed? It's been a long time but there should be lecture notes in Techno's material on exactly what he said when he played it at a workshop or two.
This music is NOT a case of that. It's a cheesy attempt to appeal to Christian self-important church sounds.
Keep in mind, running man series is a not-doing.
It's supposed to disrupt which emanations are glowing. So that new ones can shine, and form new structures.
It's not a movie. That's "me, me, me" thinking. Self-pity filled internal dialogue, seeking glory among other people.
Meanwhile, another very good not-doing is Taisha's Esalen #1. There's a cartoon showing it somewhere, and if you did it a bunch, you're realize why this manifesting situation comes into being. It's from feeling the emanations on the right and the left, which energizes them in a "location" in space. Allowing objects to manifest where you were grabbing.
When we say that not-doings make all kinds of unused emanations begin to glow, it's not just a meaningless "benefit" like Chi Gung, or multi-purpose vitamins.
It's a real thing, which spills over into all of your tensegrity and gazing. Producing new sights.
Taisha's Esalen not-going can lead to manifesting individual objects, if you can reach near perfect silence and focus your awareness on the dark sea in general.
Then you get to see which unused emanations are glowing. They'll materialize as objects, but you need to be so silent that you don't notice what the objects are. Rather, you notice that there's no feelings at all associated with what seems to be materially real.
Perhaps you learn that physical matter isn't actually in control of your situation.
It's impossible to draw such things, but here's a rough idea. If you keep in mind, we always interpret things when they're unrecognizable.
So rather than what it looks like, just imagine sitting quietly and watching object after object materialize, looking 100% real. With your eyes open, and completely sober.
Each "object" changes how you feel about solid objects.
Thanks...
The song is by the band Dead Can Dance; I like this kind of music—it's a matter of taste, of course. I chose this particular track simply because I had it on hand and it’s free of copyright restrictions...
The point isn't necessarily to perform these movements to this specific music; I actually sketched out the steps on a piece of paper back then and practiced them. They’re easy to learn, so you don't really need a video—or you can just watch it with the sound off... The video wasn't stolen; it comes from a site that no longer exists—Leuchtendewesen.de—and I’m sharing it for anyone who might be interested...
That is indeed how we learned it in the past, but since then there's human and animated versions that are better than this one.
They're in the wiki on the side. Take a look over there if you want to learn tensegrity.
And be careful of tensegrity on the web. I animated all real movements I could find (cost me a bunch of money).
I learned all tensegrity moves directly from Carlos, in person. Before each workshop. So I can look at a video, most of the time, and know when it's a fake.
Although some suggest my memory after 30 years isn't worth much.
So if I can't identify a fake, Jadey can. She's also a private student of Carlos.
Unfortunately, there's pretty much NOTHING you can trust in videos on YouTube, other than those of Jadey or the DVDs made when Carlos was around.
If there were other renditions of the missing 200 tensegrity movements, I'd animate those too.
But there aren't.
Even the most famous youtube channels (which have now gone private to hide their lies), can't be trusted for any of the movements they show.
Of course if you believe all this is just pretending, like Chinese stuff, then you might think it doesn't matter.
But in fact, all of the movements produce real magic. And practicing fake tensegrity is worse than useless.

The music ruins it…
A matter of taste...
Yep - the graphic is kinda cool tho
The animation is well done; but, the music itself kind of spoils it; but, one can mute the sound and watch the animation.
The music be just like Warmes Bier und verfaultes Sauerkraut verursachen Blähungen

It was Nikolina and Jade who shared this info about this exact pass couple of weeks ago in discord, so we gotta thank them for this insight :)

I really would’ve liked to have been around for naked tensegrity in private class tho….
Do you have to do all the running man passes or can you do half of them?
