Last night after doing womb dreaming I went to bed. I wasn’t fully asleep yet — I was still in that in-between state — when I noticed a blue energy surrounding me. Then I realized my hand was in a position that wasn’t how it actually was in real life. I was lying on my left side, but in that moment it felt like I was lying flat on my back.
After that I started flying, went through the ceiling and reached a starry sky. I got scared so I came back to my bed, but once I let go of the fear I flew up again and was back in the starry sky. This time when I returned I could see myself lying on the bed while I was also floating near the ceiling, looking down at myself.
I decided to try waking my sister while in that state. Right then I saw a hand stretch out from inside my body toward the right side and it touched my sister, but I couldn’t wake her up.
When I was floating in the air I could see the whole room really clearly, exactly as it was in real life, though it somehow looked bigger.
So at the same time I was floating up in the air, lying on my bed, and seeing that hand.
What does this mean? What exactly did I do?
What was that hand? And how was I both on the bed and floating in the air at the same time?

It's the in-between state you can get into, where your physical body's tonal awareness (it's stuck in the internal organs) can become aware of your energy body, because it came close to you.
That's the blue stuff.
What they do together once your tonal is paying attention, isn't particularly important.
Unless you can repeat it daily and exploit it for "practical magic".
"Practical magic" is ok as long as you don't overdo it the way Julian and La Catalina did.
And in that weird "in between" state, you can do pretty much anything.
Even leap through outer space to a planet outside this galaxy.
Or kick a hole in a wall, and slide through it down into the inorganic being's realm.
Since there's an unlimited number of super fun magical things you can do, it's best to focus on the technique you were using, and explore what that technique can do.
Rather than the specific instances.
If someone gave a Neanderthal caveman a hammer, they might just decide to use it like a simple stone or bone tool, but one which is stronger for specific situations.
They'd focus on what they can use it for. Can they extract more bone marrow than they can with their other tools?
Can they use it to threaten the bigger neanderthal man, who gets all the hottest neanderthal women? Europeans with blue eyes usually got those from the Neanderthals. This one is fairly famous but I don't recall her anthropology nerd name. She's a reconstruction based on the actual fossils and DNA.
But a nerd neanderthal man might instead try to figure out how it was made. Rather than what he can gain from it right now.
I really do need to travel back in time and check out those pre-human women!
Denny the Denisovan is my first choice for a visit. She was living with Neanderthals, in a huge cave that had rituals going on.
The Denisovans had set up a camp 150 miles from my office in Taiwan, perhaps 70,000 years ago. For a while now I've theorized that the magic of the Austronesian aborigines in the mountains of Taiwan, is connected to the Penghu 1 settlement.
"Islander magic" comes from them. Maybe it originally comes from the Denisovans?
Carlos also spent decades searching for any other real magic, but never found any.
As far as "practical magic" goes, time travel is very promising!
Since we've lost our lineage.
So you’re saying it was kind of my energy body that came close to me.
That’s so cool — the things you can do with it sound amazing.
You can even travel through time like you said, and that really excites me!
Honestly I don’t clearly remember what different thing I did that allowed me to have this experience.
Maybe it was because I started doing recapitulation? I’m not sure, but I hope I can figure it out so I can get control over it, because like you said the technique is more important.
I want to know: if I manage to get control over it, what zone would that put me in?
And since you said you can do magical things with it, is this the kind of magic we’re supposed to reach?
Also, can it be used in the physical world too — without drawing attention?
Unfortunately, the energy body becomes visible even in the green zone. That's the puffs!
Although it's usually not vividly blue.
I'd suggest you can judge which zone by the vividness of blue, or whether it's more like a purple.
But we don't know if that applies to everyone, and some people see other colors.
Naturally the energy body doesn't have any "color" in that sense, but since Carlos mentioned both the purple (he said "violet"), and the blue ("blue ball of energy" body), it's ok to use those.
So judging from what you said I'd guess you were in the deep green zone, shifted horizontally. Can't say if the horizontal shift was to the right or left.
Sounds like it's to the right to me, towards more physical activity.
To the left is insect hive mind awareness, which gets misunderstood in Asia as "enlightenment". "Oneness". With insects???
Then to further complicate things, the J curve lecture was likely more meaningful to men.
Carlos wanted to lecture us on how woman can "improvise and break the rules", but our attention span was too low. So we lost that part of the J curve lecture.
Maybe he thought the men needed the linear path to be explained to them, and if they could manage to follow it the women would be encouraged to explore on their own and that J curve lecture wouldn't need to strictly apply to them.
Which might explain why women don't create false goals like this Buddhist dream of how humans might like to live (forever).
Carlos always made fun of this idea, pointing out that even if you achieved their highest, no one would want to live with those kinds of perceptual limitations.
It looked something like this (photo). The color didn’t come out clearly — it was denser and a bit darker, like a cloud wrapped around me. What I saw was blue, not close to purple at all.
Insects? Whoa that’s weird, I’ve never heard of anything like that before!
Now that you mentioned Carlos, it crossed my mind how cool it would be if I could time travel and go see what he was teaching in his classes.
By the way, if I can get control over it, is this actually magic? Maybe I could even do some physical things with it.
Yes, that's the basis of our magic. To lure your double away from the walls of the luminous shell, where it's hiding out to get as far away from your internal dialogue as possible.
But our "energy body" (double) would very much like to merge with our tonal.
So it flows around us to see if it's still unpleasant to get closer.
Once you stop your internal dialogue well, it forms a solid blue ball around you and you can "dent it" to gain easier access to dreaming.
None of this is theory. We get to see this kind of thing daily!!!
And yes, we can recover ALL of the magical passes, even those we lost, by time traveling back to Dance Home to watch Carlos teach.
I made a virtual copy of Dance Home to help people locate it. The details are from actual images of the things you're looking at. Even the bricks on the side are exactly like the real ones, as best I could manage.
So that’s how it works. You explained it really well. And damn, that picture looks super realistic, wow!
I know I ask a ton of questions and I might be getting annoying, so thanks for always explaining everything so thoroughly.
And btw, I’ve got plenty more questions haha.
Something happened last night while I was in bed. Someone called my name in a voice that sounded exactly like mine, and it was super clear. I got scared ‘cause I wasn’t expecting anything like that, so I told it to go away. But now I’m thinking maybe I shouldn’t have done that and should’ve tried talking to it instead.
What do you think? Could it have been a non-organic being, or my double?
Always welcome spirits and tell them to visit any time.
To quote Carlos, tell them that they're welcome to visit anytime, and that when they don't visit you'll miss them.
In this case, of a new entity, just tell them they're welcome to visit anytime. If they've come before, you can add in the part about missing them.
You can even make requests for their appearance next time. Such as, "But can you be less scary next time? We could become friends for real."
There aren't any actual "demons" out there, so don't worry about religious warnings. Those are made up to trick people into handing over their money. If you go look at who is making those demon claims, you'll quickly realize they don't know anything at all.
You don't need to know if it's your own energy body, or an inorganic being, or an SKE.
Doesn't matter as long as you don't claim you know what they are. In error.
If you tell them something that's not true, they don't really care. But you do. And if knowledge of making a mistake in front of them is floating around in your mind, they'll pick up on it and some will exploit it to try to get something from you.
But not in the way you understand that. Mostly they just try to figure out how to keep you around in a realm they can more easily visit.
As for what you saw, does it matter?
See it again, and again, and again, and you'll get the answer.
If it's an inorganic being, you could learn to move objects just by looking at them.
Cholita can do that.
But doesn't anymore. I liked it too much the last time.
I should have pretended it wasn't anything special.
I also made the mistake about mentioning her double visiting me while I'm practicing.
It stopped almost immediately.
If it turns out that thing’s non-organic, how the hell am I actually supposed to keep it as my ally?
And how does this whole thing even work? Do I really gotta get physical with it, like Tasha and Carlos said in their books?
First you have to learn to move your assemblage point until the allies are visible.
That's the green zone.
But that's when awake, not during womb dreaming.
We don't have a "Womb J Curve Map" possibly because in fact, women don't have to move their assemblage point in such a linear manner.
Carlos wanted to give us a lecture on that, and even started one. But then he saw that if he went over everything related to this topic, he'd lose our attention. So he cut his very important lecture short and gave us only the basics.
At that awake level on the J curve, why it shows up is something we don't know.
My theory is, the puffs of your energy body are mini-dreams and the Allies can easily show up in dreams. So it gains entry to your practice room, through your energy body. Awake. Or better said, sleep walking to some extent.
Inside a dream we call them "scouts", and don Juan suggested that any human who is born ends up with their own scout following them around inside sleeping dreams.
Here's the actual passages, courtesy of Gemini Notebook, which has all of the books:
*** from Gemini ***
In Tales of Power, as don Juan is preparing Carlos to face the unknown, Carlos asks why this mysterious force is seeking him out, and don Juan ties it directly to the inevitability of birth and death:
"Why is the ally waiting for me?"
"For the same reason that death waits for you," he said, "because you were born. There is no possibility of explaining at this point what is meant by that. You must first experience the ally."
If you are specifically discussing dream scouts, the foundational explanation is found in The Art of Dreaming. When Carlos first encounters these foreign energy signatures and asks don Juan why they appear in his dreams, don Juan explains the "two-way street" of awareness:
"Dreams are, if not a door, a hatch into other worlds," he began. "As such, dreams are a two-way street. Our awareness goes through that hatch into other realms, and those other realms send scouts into our dreams."
When Carlos asks about their purpose, don Juan explains that they are drawn to us because they are:
"...in search of potential awareness. They have consciousness and purpose..."
*** (end ai quotes) ***
But even meditation practitioners get to perceive spirits in the green zone. With their eyes closed. Naturally due to the scary nature of such encounters they usually decide those are demons. Or if they shift left in the green zone, they claim they were interacting with angels.
I got my 2 allies from Carlos. But Cholita took them over to some extent, so I went looking for my childhood scout.
The monster under the bed that jumped up and shook me into the air when I was 5 years old.
Most people have one of those hanging around.
And, Mad Prophet (a user here) lent her ally Ren (Lily) to me. Lily was quite impressive!
And Cholita likes to wander around on sleeper trains headed to Oregon (hoping to get male attention I suspect). She brought home an entity or two.
And no, you don't have to get physical with it. You just need to overcome your fear of it, so that it doesn't continue to try to draw on that emotion.
Just change your feelings towards it into something positive.
Taisha said she cuddles with Phoebus at night.
The Allies can appear in very weird ways.
This morning before the sun rose I went to my car to drive to work, and just as I was getting into the door a strange old man walked by, right down the middle of the street.
He had a big open mouth grin, wore gym shorts, his shirt was too tight on his big stomach, and when I said "Good Morning!" to him as he walked by me, he didn't change his emotions at all. He merely turned his head to his left to look at me as he walked by.
Very odd I thought. Possibly senile?
Then he walked into a shadow in the middle of the road.
A shadow of a car, generated by a street light.
He never emerged from the shadow.
I even turned around on the street to drive in the direction he had been going, but never saw him again.
Actually, I do know what it’s like to see them
I’ve experienced it myself.
I saw inorganic beings before I even knew about Carlos’s books.
I’ll have to make a separate post about it here because it’s a long story.
Women's assemblage points never completely fix in place in the blue zone, the way men's do.
It's their menstrual cycle messing with their moods. Or maybe the menstrual cycle messes directly with their assemblage point position, and any mood change is a result of that.
Magic mushrooms and marijuana push your assemblage point. Marijuana to the green zone, Magic mushrooms to the deep red.
Whether women's assemblage points are pushed around so much that they all get to the green zone, no one told us. You could just shift left and right up at the normal blue zone, and that would produce mood changes. Even without the Allies becoming visible.
One day we'll have a seer powerful enough to answer that question for us.
I asked the AI that has all of the books indexed by its RAG system. WARNING: AIs also hallucinate missing info from the books, and rather then admit "it's not in there", they might easily make up something. They don't really know when they're doing that, due to lazy design or cost limitations. But a little common sense can see when that might have happened.

Menstruation and the Fluidity of the Assemblage Point
According to don Juan, women have a massive natural advantage over men in sorcery because their assemblage points do not remain rigidly fixed in place. This natural flexibility is directly tied to their monthly period:
Horizontal vs. Vertical Movement of the Assemblage Point
The books describe how the assemblage point can shift along different axes within the human energy shape, each with its own precise boundaries and effects:
In the sorcerers' terminology, horizontal movement is described as a lateral shift—meaning the assemblage point moves from one side to the other along the width of the "band of man" (the purely human aspect of the universe's energy fields). {danl999: It's around 1 foot wide}
The Consequences: If a lateral shift is minimal, it results in fantasies or dreams; if it is considerable, it causes hallucinations. Alignments made as the point approaches the lateral boundaries of the band assemble worlds that are strangely similar to ours, such as the "wall of fog" or the "plain with yellow dunes".
Vertical Shifts (Shifts Below)
Vertical movement primarily refers to downshifts or shifts below, which move the assemblage point below its customary position.
{danl999: here's a picture hand drawn by Carlos himself. The dark region is Man's band, the spot is the assemblage point, the center of the spot is the actual baseball like size of it, but the glow extends the width of man's band, and it seems to even influence the bands to the left and right, to some extent.}
The Ultimate Limits of Movement
While the assemblage point can fluctuate within these directions, don Juan establishes a clear boundary for just how far it can move before transforming a person's entire reality:

That’s really interesting.
I guess there’s still a lot we don’t understand about how all of this works.
Thanks, Daniel.
I've been harassed by the spirit of kilindi iyi for months now as a black rapist, and I'm 100% sure it's the real guy and not some random IOB. That leads me to believe the Mexican rapists with La Gorda were literally dead Mexican men/ancestors behaving horribly and not random IOBs.
I think there is a problem with your antispiritual and antiintellectual bent, it leads to a degraded experience in my opinion.
