Impeccability is much easier when you curtail your internal dialogue all day long. You end up living more in the moment, and in the moment you are less likely to put things off. You don't fret endlessly about things, so you become less sloppy in your actions.
It's why the Zen people say, "I eat when hungry, and sleep when tired." That's how it is with internal silence.
