Hey guys, I saw this post in another sub, recommended he post it here as well.
I wasn't sure if it might relate to the wall Castaneda talked about, but thought maybe some helpful insights might be gained, especially if it IS the same wall.

Which wall?
It's not the wall you can read off.

Hmmm, honestly not sure, the wall is something, I guess since I have not encountered (that I know of) that still mystifies me.
When I think about it though, I have encountered a similar dream wall, but it's more like reaching the limits of the simulated dream scene that I'm in, after waking up and re-considering the post... perhaps that's what he meant.

I would say keep trying but even those sorcerers of the past who even managed to escape their own death mainly did so by trading one wall for another.
Even those who through a lifetime of impeccability who burn from the fire within find that it is only an extension granted to further enhance awareness.
So instead of digging your fingertips into the wall in order to climb it to escape, try finger painting a door instead.

Try to wake up in a different spot - once you pull your mass inside out it wont be a problem. Just make sure your tonal is tempered or you'll get ripped apart.

Zoom. Select something at a distance, stare at it, lean in a bit, and zoom over to it.
If you encounter a wall, stare at it. At every tiny detail. Find a crack, and stare it down.
It MUST change. It'll force a dream change, with an obsession on walls.
Bottom line is (to be blunt), you haven't done this enough times to worry about it.
Worrying is an attention getting mechanism.
So instead of wanting to learn more, maybe you want attention?
That's all right! We all start out that way. But if you really want to learn, you have to be focused on the game, not on the cheerleaders legs.
But it's still cool what you did!

Just curious, where did you learn to sun gaze and what is your method? It sounds like you feel you are successfully drawing in energy from the sun.

Cool!
Ok, here's more advice.
Carlos (the sorcerer) gave us endless techniques. Endless!!!
It was perplexing.
He never sat down and got specific. Like, took someone, listened to exactly what they did each day, and give them advice.
Unfortunately, that's what everyone wants. They want the high school lesson plan. Or the Home Depot Training course.
Or even, the steps a beginner takes in baseball, like go to the batting cage for a bit, run the tire course, practice sliding.
Dreaming doesn't work that way. Anything you can think about in this world, like getting instruction from other people, is like a boulder tied to your leg.
Just go for it. Only ask for help if you get trapped in something many times, like 8 times.
I doubt you'll be able to find that problem you found, again.
The energy in dreaming is always changing. Doing something even two times in a row is unusual.
Your best tool in the beginning, besides however you've learned to hold onto it, is to realize some of what you see is real. But you aren't seeing it's real form.
Most of what you see is not.
All of them can be dissolved or altered, just by your gaze.
If anything stops you from gazing, you just have to wrestle it until it gives in and leaves you alone.
The "real" elements in your dream, if they play characters, want to interact with you.
If you find a "real" wall, that's a super bonus prize. Finding objects with energy is super rare.
But you can't really know if it is, until you've returned there many times.
My guess would be that the wall was a construct made to trap you, so an inorganic being (a scout) could feast on your fear.
Just love the wall. That'll change the mood. Hug it and kiss it and see what happens.
I have an associate who would say, "Stick your xxxxx in it! See how it likes that."
