From a Nagualist's perspective the dialogue isn't quite in sync with the illustration, which is cool as beans! Should start off as being in bliss, and end with feeling "not so good" because energy is at the toes again.

Examine each of the voices, they all come from someone or other—not necessarily the mother—and they all come together to form one's personal "social order." I wonder which voice I'm writing this in now. Some haughty teacher or relative I had no doubt, there were plenty of those.
I don't believe there's an overarching social order being imposed on us, though. The myriad voices of each of us just end up making a similar noise, as that favours natural selection.
