Hello everyone! I have read in the books long ago something that Don Juan was explaining to Carlos about the eyes, and wich eye one should look to make contact with the other person. Someone remember where that is? Thanks

I don't.
You sure that's in there? Sometimes fake teacher information spreads around. There's a lot of really bad folks going around pretending to be experts on Castaneda, hurting the chances of those who are interested in really making it work.
The eyes summon intent. That might sound mysterious, but it really isn't.
They literally summon entire worlds, right in your bedroom if you like.
Carlos used to gaze up at the horizon to the south, and "read off the wall" to us.
I suppose he found himself in trouble when he knew he was dying.
The men in the class were all on gigantic ego trips, not actually practicing, but instead trading inventories with each other, of other stuff they believed was the same.
So they'd be going on with each other about some Chinese or European philosophy, instead of actually trying what Carlos assigned us to do.
Being hot-shot inventory experts, you couldn't even wake them from their slumber. They'd attack you.
Carlos resorted to using intent to teach the class, at least at times.
I didn't understand at the time, but he wasn't looking for good material to use in his lecture.
He was reaching out into the future, to activate some help. He pulled out his jacks, the wild card.
I suppose he had no idea what would come of it. But he was backing up his Cleargreen teaching structure. There was not enough time left for them to reach the good stuff so they could pass it on. He'd be dead before they learned to be silent, and thus how to view energy.
That's what the eyes do, they activate help from an outside force.
It feels like a "shine" in the eyes. If you want to do one thing, such as burn a hole in reality, the shine is concentrated and intense. It's just like this, although your experience will probably be slightly different:
If you want to simply see what's there (view pure energy, filtered through intent), the gaze is wider, encompassing the entire room. You can do a huge variety of things with that kind of gaze:
As far as Carlos' eyes, his left eye was quite different from his right eye.
He wrote that in his books, so I certainly checked.
It was different. It had a shine to it.
I thought it must be cataracts, and maybe it was.
But there's always a "doing" in any "not-doing". The ordinary becomes the magical as the assemblage point moves deeper along the J curve.
I've been told, since I've learned to manipulate intent myself, my left eye is different also.
When you use the eyes to gaze at pure energy on any horizon (as described in "Silent Knowledge" publication), you can switch from left eye to right eye.
I haven't been able to make that work in years. Since Downtown LA workshop.
It takes some practice.
But the energy you see with the left eye, is different from the right eye.
One is wavy, one is flat.
If you want to discover about the eyes yourself, just start with finding colors in darkness, while silent.
Not only does it teach how to use the shine of the eyes to assemble other worlds, but it teaches you the importance of intent.
Imagine you're going up and down an old Kung Fu temple stairway, carrying buckets of water on your shoulders.
Master Po is being a bastard today. He doesn't even want the water, you're being told to dump it down the other side of the hill.
If you aren't hooked to the "Intent of the Sorcerer's of Ancient Mexico", something Carlos emphasized over and over again in his final publications, you'll be hauling those buckets of water until you cry.
You'll inevitably give up and leave the temple to go study something else. Like Taoism. Or Zen.
Something mindless and easy where you don't actually have to succeed at anything. You just get to brag to everyone about your inventory of wiseness.
But if you have intent on your side, Master Po dozes off once in a while and you can stop to smell the temple flowers.
I have a kindle, so it’s easy to do a search on left eye/right eye.
Journey to Ixtlan: I don’t see any relevant results.
Separate Reality: Ch. 7 says “He said that I had to look with one eye, my left eye, and that sooner or later I would see the guardian.” Ch. 8, “looked at the gnat first with my left eye.” Ch. 13, “Don Juan’s features faded and the glow intensified. I placed my attention on an area which must have been his left eye. I noticed that there the movement of the glow was not contained.”
Second Ring of Power discusses sun gazing with the left eye.
Eagle’s Gift talks about Silvio Manuel’s left eye looking brighter.
Edited to add:
Tales of Power: The Strategy of a Sorcerer p. 235 kindle: “The secret is in the left eye... As a warrior progresses on the path of knowledge his left eye can clasp anything. Usually the left eye of a warrior has a strage appearance; sometimes it becomes permanently crossed, or it becomes smaller than the other, or larger, or different in some way.”
The whole left eye right eye aspect coincides with the left and right side awareness.
Pretty cool how our physical bodies are ‘somehow’ manifestations of our energetic link to intent.
Would you explain more? Are you referring to like how left side of the brain is science/math and right side is creativity, that sort of thing?
While the left side brain and right side brain is a physical manifestation of our forgotten energetic split while the physical brain still only encompasses first attention type functions.
You can look at it like the brain as a whole operates the machine body and has functions to perform. These functions are split between the left and right side as described through science yet both sides are still capable of handling either’s individual tasks.
However the physical manifestation of the body or the universe as a whole is divided between distinguishable attributes just Ike the left and right hemispheres.
Good and bad, up and down, hot and cold... all split straight down the middle but all sharing attributes with each other.
All these are clues to a puzzle and the answers are simply put together on the puzzle board when you add into the mix the left and right attention.
I don’t recall the book but I believe Don Juan “hooked” Carlos with Intent by using his left eye to look into Carlos’ right eye.
The eyes are the window to the soul!
This common phrase is probably derived from the forgotten knowledge that while reported by Carlos for us to remember is still knowledge within us, just forgotten.
The forgotten knowledge that what we all still understand on a shallow level is made clear with the teachings that the eyes focus intent.
Since intent is basically our life force the eyes are a window to the soul.
Yeah, Don Juan hooked Carlos through his left eye as he could hook the eyes of anyone to align emanations.
However if you want to hook someone through the eyes you’re gonna need energy, the best most can do is look into another’s soul and recognize intent.
Thank you all for the answers. So looking around online i have found something similar to what i was remembering. It's in the "Tales of power" chapter " The strategy of a sorcerer". Don Juan explains to Carlos about the power of the left eye. It's what dirgable was remembering. Actaully i think there is a part where there is another explanation but i have not yet been able to find it.
i think left eye collect or grasp energy and the right storage it .
