I used to devour these kinds of books. They kept me excited after I finished Carlos' books. But I hate when they start talking about the silver cord and its theories with very little sense. Instead of just describing and experimenting, they fill your head.

Neither book mentions a silver cord.
Most authors and experiencers never reach the goal.
The books are written by a person who reached the end.

The stated purpose of this subreddit is to aid in restoring the reputation of Carlos Castaneda and the knowledge he imparted, by pragmatically applying that knowledge IN PRACTICE. This means that we are sticking to what really works, as proven by direct experience by long-practicing members.
No low effort posting, pretending, or wasting people's time.

Especially problematic posts, ex. questions that could be answered by either practicing or by reading more posts or from the books, will be removed and users who make similar repeated posts will be banned for a minimum of 3 months. Pretend sorcery which does not emphasize silence, and is based only on thinking and mood, will not be tolerated.
Self-centered promotion, jockeying for a "top-dog" position, & grandstanding are bannable behaviors.

Persons promoting behavior over effort to get silent and the necessity to move the assemblage point, and who won't give up that activity, are likely to be banned for a minimum of ONE YEAR.
