Danza de la Pluma, Oaxaca (headdress c. 12 lbs). Carlos was tempted in the 80s to write about the Concheros (Aztec dancers), saying, "Their dances, songs and music are the most perfect way in which a man can move the point of assemblage between individual and cosmic energy."

From this interview:
The photo shows Zapotec dancers (from Teotitlán del Valle) at the Guelaguetza festival, which takes place on two Mondays each July in Oaxaca. They sometimes dance for hours!
The same problem he had trying to encourage the Concheros to learn real magic, is the problem I've faced, trying to place Carlos' knowledge elsewhere.
It's odd.
Even former students of Carlos who are still "active", have their little weird niche markets. Some crazy technique they've designed, which is supposed to help you understand sorcery. They have "mini-book deals" going on, which they share with friends via social media.
I chatted with one yesterday, until he suggested that Miles was a double being, and I realized, he was a groupie.
Obsession with finding a double being means, he's not obsessed with actually practicing.
And after 30 years, has zero knowledge or he wouldn't spread dangerous ideas such as, we need a new nagual.
He wants someone to do the work for him.
When I suggested that if it was true, Miles was still doing a lousy job and all of cleargreen was destroying Carlos' knowledge with their failure to learn enough to move their assemblage points into heightened awareness.
He was offended and left.
I'd showed him some of the pics I've created.
The correct reaction should have been, "Holy shit!!! You mean this crap really works? How can I do that?"
Mistrust is ok. But he should have wanted to know more.
Nope. His little community of like-minded zealots was threatened.
He wasn't interested in magic at all.
Within that kind of community, you have farts, pisses, and pukes.
The farts are the worst. That's what Carlos ran into.
Concheros farts.
I sure would like to see Miles add Tango to his workshops!
But only after he learns to move his assemblage point into heightened awareness, so he can actually embed some tensegrity in there. As opposed to rehashing the old stuff and trying to make it feel new.
I thought to engage Cholita in doing that. Coming up with viable dance moves to do in public, and which move the assemblage point. See how far it can move, in a crowd.
She was sitting next to me in a very hot car, with very little shade above us.
Her blouse was slightly unbuttoned, which was kind of pleasing to see.
Dressed to the hilt sexy. No one ever seems to notice, but Cholita often walks around basically naked. She just covers it up so skillfully that you have to look closely to realize the nerve it would take to wear that.
She was ranting about how fat my father was, and asked if he was ever dedicated to anything at all in his life?
I pointed out that he founded Malki Museum press out at Morongo, edited and put together multiple anthropological publications, and wrote a book which was made into a movie.
Cholita seemed satisfied.
Then she said, "But why do you want to live in the desert?"
I asked her why we can't just be friends. Maybe we can take Tango lessons. That would be fun, wouldn't it?
She said, "I'm not going to date you Daniel!"
wasn't one of the early tensegrity mailing lists named "Tango"?
Sounds like Carlos' sense of humor.
"Let's Tango!"
I vaguely recall that.
Carlos tried a number of publications towards the end.
I think he was trying to make up for the opaque books.
Those pretty much do nothing but mislead people, and create ego monster inventory experts.
The good stuff is in there. Everything is!
But a lazy inventory collector wouldn't even get around to trying it, as long as his internal dialogue was pacified with the "warrior's way" mindset.
I've been trying to rattle some sub-Cleargreen people who are recommended to me.
One surprising result is that they're completely unaware Carlos was teaching us to "see energy" towards the end. And to physically manipulate it with our hands.
They don't recall any of that!
They're also OBLIVIOUS to what seeing is like. The statements indicate they're still at the rank beginner level of understanding.
Carlos made those new publications pretty much spelling it out, as he was dying and had run out of time.
And yet a real "cleargreen" person is oblivious to it.
And apparently, no longer interested in the real thing.
It's just old aging friends hanging out on social media. No one wants to be bothered with that sorcery nonsense anymore, except to show off being a Cleargreener on social media.
