I hope to bridge them some day by figuring out where that trapdoor is located, which allows passage between them.
But in the meantime, people who don't have time to do waking dreaming, have plenty of time for lucid dreaming.
And as long as we have some visible magic around, Carlos' reputation will be repaired.
At that point, Lucid dreaming is a very valuable practice for learning sideways shifts.
For learning to "stalk the position of the assemblage point", as Taisha puts it.
Not to mention, we're gaining mass in here.
God only knows what group lucid dreaming could be like.
We're in a position to create that.

Guess I am game for that with help.
My knowledge, skills and experience does contradict some of the Lucid information on reddit.
Most of them feel..
Everything is in "your head" - Bullshit with and extra scoop of diarrhea
Need to go over the information of how to dream while awake. What are the best posting on this?... If you happen to know off the top of ur noggin.

We have Michail. He's good at lucid dreaming also.
It's essentially a specialty. Although it can seem that you get good at it, that's not really what happens.
It's not like riding a bike, where you never forget.
As far as I know, it takes obsession.
But if someone has a way to become obsessed in an orderly step by step way, that would be useful.
Or if someone found a "trick".
But I can't imagine any tricks being universal. Usually those are personal.
We'll have to add a "Grumpy" tag for posts, if we have avid lucid dreamers in here.
It's best to warn people.
I often introduce myself as, "Hello, I'm autistic, so please forgive any weird things I say."

He did the one disproving most of the complaints about Carlos.
There's some doozies there! It's pretty common to hear the "cultural appropriation argument".
Now, if you read that, anyone making that claim is dead meat in an argument.
I suspect he sort of disproved all of the complaints, down to the sexual antics accusations.
Poor Carlos really got lynched, and mostly by his own students, who ended up fueling Robert Marshall's hit job.
Was that his name?
I suspect its a way to skip right to heightened awareness.
I doubt it. But certainly you could head towards it.
Staring at colors in darkness is like getting into a go-cart with a steering wheel and breaks, but no actual engine.
It'll slide down the hill, and won't veer right or left much.
You have to get to the very bottom to be in heightened awareness.
Lucid dreaming is like being on roller blades on flat concrete that stretches for miles. And no way to know which destination is heightened awareness.
But with lots of fun stuff to see in there.
And you can be as rude as me.
I'm ruthless, not rude.
The sexual implications are an imitation of the teaching style of Carlos, who was as foul mouthed as they come, without being vulgur.
He used to giggle a bit before he delivered a bad joke he'd been planning all evening.
As for people not taking you up on learning lucid dreaming, in here there should be more success.
Some simply CAN'T find the time for colors in darkness.
But they have to go to bed, so they can find time for lucid dreaming.
And, we can connect the 2 realms in here, in the long run.
So it's no longer "imaginary", as the Lucid dreaming subreddit folks seem to believe.
We should be able to come up with 6 or 8 serious practitioners, as long as your method seems to be working.
If not, we can tinker with it.
I used to lucid dream for hours each night. My secret was also obsession.
Forcing silence while I lay on my side going to sleep, insisting on seeing anything at all.
Occasionally I'd succeed spectacularly. But that wasn't what caused the lucid dreaming.
It was the left over obsession from laying on my side trying to summon visions.
The residue of that caused me to wake up in dreams.
We're trying to cause ourselves to dream, about lucid dreaming.
And that gives us a cubic centimeter of chance, to actually become lucid.

Carlos had his bed facing north, whatever that means.
I haven't been able to detect any difference between the directions, in terms of "seeing energy".
And man o man, can I "see energy" now.
Juann knows what I'm talking about. Once you learn to see energy on the horizon, it's endlessly amusing, and seemingly impossible.
There ought to be some detectable difference, but darned if I can find it.
But body position might help.
Nyei says laying on your stomach helps.
In fact, I did discover that in my Lucid dreaming days.
But laying on the stomach interferes with breathing, so I only used it rarely.
Instead, I learned to sleep on my back, and "turn around" in a dream state.
Then like a total fool, I'd "turn around" and try to enter lucid dreaming.
I didn't realize, you're in waking dreaming if you can "turn around" like that!

In bed.
Turning around means, as you lie on your bed, you literally turn around in your dreaming body.
So suddenly you're facing down, without having moved.
It's one of those "half asleep" weird things.
But of course, you're already in dreaming once you do that!
It's time at that point, to figure out what else you can do from there.

People just got more and more serious, and then a few had success seeing colors and getting silent a bit.
And Juann drew it up, which always tends to make it easier to understand.
Then, I was worrying about 3 or 4 people, Fairy got tired of me being distracted, and reminded me of a very old pass that never got recognized for what it was.
She re-taught it to me, then convinced me she would locate anyone who did that, and she'd go help them, if they were far enough along to perceive her.
If not, she'd try to move their assemblage point enough to make herself visible.
Then she took off. She returned once or twice, to "show" me what others had done the night before.
That was kind of cool!
But then the little slut took a fancy to Juann, and she won't leave his bed.
Poor Lidotska is feeling short changed.
I believe she has Minx to some extent.
Not a good substitute.
Meanwhile, I decided to find another one, and concentrated on that only for a few days.
Now I have "Fancy", who seems interested in teaching me to "see trees", a request from Lidotska.
IOBs can pick up your obsessions, and just like intent, if it's magical and they can help, they do.
Perhaps they have a closer link to intent than we do, and even imitate it's behavior?
Or maybe their only link to us does in fact come from intent, and they have to obey certain rules.
Like not lying.
Meanwhile, Cholita's behavior has changed, without all those "ghosts" in my home.
Except she ran away again in her newly repaired car.
She's probably on the beach in Malibu.
Last time I saw her, she was wearing tiny shorts, and bent over far, leaning into her car.
Her legs were quite tan from obvious sun exposure.
I was turning to enter the driveway and park next to her.
I almost had a heart attack, hoping to find my camera!
She was shouting, "I DON'T WANT TO!!!"
Never saw her after that. She drove off before I parked my car in the driveway.
She might be in Malibu, walking up to 40 year old men, telling them she doesn't want to do it.
It's just that they appear while she's awake and "haunt" her.
One pretends to be some lover. I hear Cholita in the garage fighting with him, then laughing.
It's just Carlos' allies, Fairy, and Minx.
Unless Minx and Fairy are really Carlos' allies, in "friendly" form.
No way to know. They don't come with name tags so far.

Huh, in the past, I have used a similar-sounding technique to also follow into dream - or project while awake.
(I also have run into contradictions with the lucid/dreaming communities in regard to my experiences so maybe that's related).
The following technique resulted in a very powerful experience at one point, and I haven't used it since because it took me a long time to "come down" from that experience... though it still stays with me, in the back of my mind.
The way I would describe it is to relax (sitting or lying down, I prefer lying on back) and remaining absolutely motionless. I would say not thinking, but whenever I've performed this technique successfully, I never proceeded with "i'm not going to think" - it just happens on its own.
Anyway, I'd close my eyes and look through them. Darkness, sunlight, whatever, doesn't matter as long as there is reasonable solitude.
The body gets restless... and I focused (possibly similar to how you mention focus) that restless desire to move the body into the act of looking through the closed eyelids.
Could maybe also be described as... to step forward without moving.
Eventually, shapes/objects/images start to show. At some point, the restless energy is so immense that I take that "must move" sensation into whatever is showing through the eyelids... and from there, it's adventure through mystery.
I would reiterate on the mentioned point of Lucid/Dreaming evolving through obsession. The more attention given to dreaming, in my experience, the more elaborate that dreaming becomes.

Yup you nailed it ... mostly.
I don't experience the restlessness. I focus will.
"Eventually" for me depends on if I am looking at something solid in this third dimension. I put my hand up immediatly and move it forward, back, right, left. Allows me to see the vibrations immediatly. HTe more I focus the more I see, I zoomed in on a pore today. So apparently you can zoom in with this. You can also shove your head underwater in a bath, when the water is being filled and see the spread of the different water, that pouring in or thta already there. Like a dye water test.
I think I have put in enough attention. I try to renew it every day but it gets difficult sometimes.
I use it to see through things as well, hands, walls, pillows...etc I also use it to examine the crystaline energy in my body.
